It wasn't that busy in the store and customers who came in after and ordered in person received theirs long before I did. It honestly seemed like the ticket got forgotten about until another employee saw me still waiting and went over and made it himself and apologized for the long wait. I ordered online in advance. I arrived at the location and the staff was not very friendly. I mentioned that I had mobile orders, and they were listed as complete in the app. One was finished on the pickup counter but the other was not. I mentioned it and they said it's not ready yet. I stood and waited for 10 mins while they kept making beverages for other customers. They completed orders then acknowledged me again and I asked if I'm ever going to get my order. They looked at my order and the smoothie was sitting behind the counter the whole time. It had not been brought out. I got no apology, just had the smoothie handed to me. It was a bad experience to say the least. The staff didn't seem to have any enjoyment to be there and customers were just looked at when they came in. The location was clean in the lobby but not behind the counter and the ambiance was relaxing. Not a quality experience. Quality: the smoothie was tasty and was made correctly. I was in the mood for a great smoothie and that's what I got! I really enjoyed the mango magic smoothie. It consisted of mango, pineapple and non-fat yogurt. My mom chose the jetty punch smoothie and she enjoyed it as well. Her smoothie consisted of strawberries and bananas. This location does have a drive thru as well. The inside is clean and has plenty of tables to sit down. There were quite a few people inside. The bathroom was clean. The cashier was nice and helpful. Our smoothies came out quickly! I am a frequent TSC customer in various locations. I love writing reviews (I don't like to leave negative ones) and I'm heart broken to say that this Tropical Smoothie Cafe is the WORST location that I have ever visited. I got a green dream bowl and there was a piece of RUBBER in the bowl... yes, RUBBER. It was the first bite and I literally chewed it and am so thankful that I didn't eat it. I love the green dream bowl, but lost my appetite after that first bite. I was on a road trip and they said that the only way I could get a refund/new bowl is if I returned to the store. So I drove out of my way back to the location like an hour later to only be told that I couldn't get both a refund/return. That was confusing and miscommunication as I thought that's what the solution was. I went out of my way for a mistake, which I tried to be nice about to only leave with a customer service experience that left me disappointed... I work customer service as well and I really try to be kind-spoken... but this experience could've been made better but was left feeling dissatisfied. I wish there was clearer communication and more attentiveness towards resolving a situation like this... I love TSC and I understand that mistakes happen, but this was a bad experience. read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe (TSC) has been blazing a trail around the Low Country lately! They opened this location in Pooler and most recently in Savannah on Abercorn in the same year! I first discovered TSC when we lived in Virginia Beach many moons ago and liked their healthy offerings among the many chain restaurants. We like to visit a TSC location while we're traveling especially, because the choices of road trip eats is really limited, not very enticing and generally not very healthy! We recently visited this location at the drive thru for a quick boost just before heading over to Tanger for a morning of shopping. - Parking - Center lot. It is located on the small strip of businesses just before you enter the Tanger Outlets on Tanger Outlets Blvd. I believe it's still considered a part of the Tanger Outlets. It's the business on the end and it has a Drive thru! - Vibe - They've definitely gotten a face lift in the past year or so. Not sure how long ago, because we've only been back on the mainland for about 1 1/2 years now, but it's bright, colorful, fun and fresh looking. Exactly what a smoothie shop should look like! - TLC - The lady who took our order and took care of us at the window was very nice. - Sips & Noms - My husband ordered the Peanut Butter Cup with a shot of Whey protein and I ordered the Island Green. His smoothie tasted as usual, but mine just tasted bland. Maybe too much ice and not enough ingredients? I've enjoyed it in the past, but maybe the smoothie maker didn't measure the ingredients properly that day? I would have definitely asked for a new one had we dined in, but we had already made it over to the main Tanger Outlets complex and didn't feel like lopping back. Eh, it hapens. Smoothies are one size at 24 oz, priced at $5.19. Supplements are at an additional cost obviously. The Whey was $0.99. They also have a pretty decent selection of eats that range from salads, sandwiches, wraps and quesadillas. In the past, we've had a variety of things to eat and all have been great. - Kiddos - Kids smoothies are 12 oz at $2.99. My kids love smoothies so they slurped it right up! TSC is definitely a great addition to Pooler and in that area specifically. A lot of people are traveling up and down I-95 and if I was a hungry traveler, I would definitely consider stopping here before some of the other spots, for a quick, healthy bite before hitting the road again! read more

I walked in instead of going through the drive thru because there was a sign on the drive thru stating they were out of some items (one of them being sugar) and I wanted clarification before waiting in line. I was the ONLY customer on the inside and immediately saw 4 employees. One was working the drive-thru one was right up front restocking some items and two (a male and a female) were in the back, but I could still see them. I stood there for about 30 seconds before I said, "HELLO!" The girl in the drive thru was seriously busy and never had time to look my way; the girl restocking items right in front of me finally looked up, smiled, and cheerfully said, "Oh, hello!" and shuffled around quickly to get the girl talking to the boy in the back to help me because she was not "on register." The girl from the back, however, came out looking very annoyed that she had to leave her conversation with the boy and never greeted me or even acknowledged my presence. I was so appalled. When I turned to leave and was heading for the door, one of the girls finally said, "Can I help you?" Really?? As I'm leaving?? No, you could've helped me when I walked in 2 minutes ago. I replied, "Don't even worry about it." as I walked out the door. There was no adult in sight and these teenagers seriously need a lesson in customer service...or just plain manners to at minimum smile or greet someone as they walk through the door. We ordered a sandwich and a salad; 20 mins later we got two sandwiches. They offered to make the salad but we didn't want to wait another 20 mins to eat so we jus took it. I didnt get it today but I tried the super green ceaser wrap and it's delicious. It has crunchy parmesan cheese bits inside the wrap, they're really good. This time around I ordered the Buffalo Chicken, except I asked them to put it in a bowl. The bowl is about medium size, you will find its a lot more than a normal side salad. Unfortunately they forgot to add tomatoes. The buffalo sauce that comes with it, is creamy and thick, also very spicy. Its good but I wouldn't order this product again. We LOVED the smoothies here. We stopped in the drive through after dinner to check out the menu and we decided to order. The smoothie sizes are more than satisfying, the flavors are varied and fun and the cups are substantial and easy to hold. A weird consideration but honestly, we noticed it. I had the Mocha Madness and it was a strong and sweet coffee drink, ice cold and delicious. My kids had Mango and Lime and Strawberry flavored ones, can't remember exactly, but they said they were delicious and larger, which they never do. I haven't actually tried their food yet but today I got the super food island green smoothie and it was the best smoothie from anywhere that I've ever had!!!! I'm picky about my smoothies which is why I normally make them at home but I have finally found one from a restaurant that is amazing and also doesn't taste like it is full of sugar. I can actually taste the fresh ginger!! Kale is soooooo good for you but I hate it in smoothies usually because it's so gritty and I barley get that in this smoothie but I know it's in here. This is a very refreshing and filling smoothie. Next to this smoothie, Panera was always my favorite but Panera's smoothies have a lot of sugar and aren't that great for you. I LOVE THIS SMOOTHIE. I went today around 3pm, ordered a Mamba smoothie, a cup of ice, two wraps and a flatbread. From the time I paid and got my receipt, I waited 17 minutes for the drive thru attendant to tell me that it'd be two more minutes. I asked if there could be a coupon, refund or something... for waiting 17 minutes in a drive thru. He closed the window, popped back with my final wrap and said "I'm sorry"... I was shocked that they didn't offer a free smoothie next time, or anything. They are new to open, so I totally get that things are slow, but they need to be prepared with a coupon or something to ease the sting a little bit. Wouldn't likely return to the drive thru for sure. Everytime I have placed an order on their mobile app for pick up, my wrap is never made on time. I make the mobile orders ahead of time so I can just pick them up while I'm on my lunch break and not waste so much time. I placed an order at 12:45pm for my order to be ready at 1:00 pm. When I arrived at 1:02 pm, my order was not ready. After waiting 15 minutes my order was finally ready and I have now wasted 15 minutes of my break waiting when my order should have already been ready. This establishment does not even deserve a . I am a frequent flyer of visiting Tropical Smoothies in various locations. During my visit to this location yesterday, I was absolutely appalled at the lack of customer service, product and two specific employees attitudes. I ordered 2-smoothies and a chia smoothie bowl. After 35 minutes, I still did not have my full order!! During this time, I sat at the counter watching them make smoothies. Another gentleman and his family were sitting there as well. The gentleman's wife gave the employee (reddish long hair) a compliment on her nails, the employee was very rude, with a dirty look to her and a loud huff, their 2 little girls didn't understand "why she was mad at their mom for being nice?" I watched one employee with multiple face piercings, try to look busy, putting multiple sticker orders on the pitchers about 12 of them without completely 1 order for about 10 minutes. Then she proceeded to do 4 orders (pitchers) at once, barely putting any product in the smoothie, trying to remember what she put in each pitcher, with shrug of shoulders, randomly picking stuff to put in. My Island Green, with barely any greens, she proceeded to put 4 large scoops of ice in it. I said to her, if that's my Island Green, I do not want 4 scoops of ice. She rudely looked at me and ignored me, putting it in the blender. I continued to watch them beat the blender repeatedly over the next 15 minutes, adding more sugar, water, trying to get it to blend because it had way too much ice. I asked 3x to start my Island Green over, with no response & just a look. Meanwhile, I was handed my chia pudding bowl, blended all together in a smoothie, not a bowl as ordered. My other smoothie I was handed about 25 minutes into this ordered was so plain no taste, again very little fruit added. At 35 minutes still without my Island Green, a chia pudding bowl blended as smoothie & my Bahama Mama tastes like ice water, I demanded a refund. It's obvious these two employees do not know what customer service is, not respect their jobs and is clearly hurting this establishment. There were 4 other customers that were as unhappy too. This establishment is a disgrace to the Tropical Smoothie franchise and quality standards/services other locations hold. read more

We came here thanks to a friend's recommendation and I have to say, I am so happy we have this place in Pooler. I tried their chicken Thai wrap which was wonderful, my daughter had a chicken quesadilla which she said was "very, very yummy", and shared their Peanut Butter Cup smoothie and fell in love.
