Great smoothies! I've had the bahama mama and the peanut paradise - both very tasty but I liked the bahama mama better. I do wish they had size options (small, medium, large or regular and large) because I cannot finish the whole smoothie and the rest of it just goes to waste. FYI- they have pup cups for your furry friends except it's not ice cream or whip cream, it's just blended fruit that's frozen into a little cup but my dog still loved it - also perfect for the hot summer days. read more

If I had not won free smoothies for a year, I wouldn't be back. Service is incredibly slow and I was told I can't pick up my mobile order in the drive through?? Staff let me pick it up "this once." I was then handed a smoothie that was so overflowed all over the cup that it ruined my shirt and shorts and spilled all over my car as I set it down. This place is a mess as this is not my only negative experience here. Great food, one of my favorite places to visit. Their staff is always so nice and the store is very clean.

Love this location in Rockford, its good to know that actual nutritional food and smoothies are prepared properly instead of the microwave minute that most want in restuarants. This place is a breath of freshness. I glady and appreciatively come to the Rockford location because it is close to my job . Also, I go to the Rockford location since the one out where I live seemed after 3 different times that that were 4 months apart with no rushes going on, that training is still needed out there to prepare things right at that location. Thank you to the owner of the Tropical Smoothie in Rockford for setting yourself in the Rockford area for business. It is greatly appreciated. read more

This is a great restaurant if you crave healthy ingredients. Yummy smoothies, good food. Very clean. The service was fast and friendly. The only issue I see is that the owner needs to hire more people and probably pay the ones he has more. The employees were working on high speed and had a lot to handle, I give them credit. I just hope they don't bail from burnout. read more

When this place first opened the service/experience was great! It was constantly busy and sometimes there was a small wait for orders; which was understandable! However over the past 6 months or more service has gone significantly down hill the last few times I've been in the service is beyond slow for a quick service establishment. Today I waited 15 minutes in the drive through to get a smoothie when there's no other patrons in the drive through line, or inside the store. I have also placed mobile orders and still had to wait 20 minutes once I arrived to even be acknowledged by staff to pick up my small order (apparently they don't utilize the mobile pickup area...and you have to get someones attention.) Even though the food is consistent and the smoothies are good, it seems as though this place lacks skilled management to keep things running smoothly. read more

The people who work here are always nice but it seems like every time I'm in the drive thru they take 15-20 minutes to make one smoothie. I had one person in front of me and just waiting behind them took about 10 minutes.... they only had two smoothies that were handed to them. After I paid I proceeded to wait for a while and when the smoothie was handed to me it didn't even look very blended. read more

I discovered the secret to their tasty smoothies... They add a cup of sugar to each one. You won't find it mentioned on their website. (You can't even ask there.) It isn't listed in the ingredients, but watch them make the drinks and ask what that first ingredient. They add a large scoop of sugar before anything else. Healthier than a Slushy I suppose, but not exactly healthy. read more
