She came out of nowhere unwashed hands touching peoples cups and smoothies. At the end she put a lid on my cup that she had just put where the little red wash bucket was. I asked her how I knew the difference between the drinks and she said "I remember" then pulled stickers off of pitchers that were in the sink and proceeded to put them on my cup. No greeting when patrons walk in and no acknowledgment when you are waiting, they act like no one is even there. I've been living here for four years now and am THRILLED to have a tropical smoothie. I am trying the muscle blasted with peanut protein and it tastes AHMAZINGN. The quality is excellent, the crew is friendly and although it was busy they were moving fast. I appreciate the cleanliness and how many outlets are available. In comparison to other TSC locations - the Snellville one is NOT my favorite and with a ton of other fast casual restaurants right near it, I opt not to go in this one. I've always ordered the Chicken Apple Club flatbread and a smoothie to go with it. They've never came out at the same time. My first visit: I basically finished my entire flatbread once my smoothie came out. Second: My smoothie came out and I had to wait a longer 10 minutes for 1 simple flatbread to arrive. The very last time, my smoothie came out first again and the same girl had to go back behind the counter and start on my food (not sure if it was a staffing shortage issue or what). The employees look bored and aren't really friendly at all. I've never gotten my order served on a tray here - even if you're dining in, they'll wrap up and pack away your order in a plastic bag so I end up just unraveling it in front of them to eat at the restaurant. They've also ran out of napkins the last couple of times I went in, so we had to use paper towel rolls from the bathroom. It was ok- the "dressing" is like a salsa and although good, too spicy for me. The white rice was bland (no salt) but I am ok with that. As someone who works in a relatively new TSC location in California, I was super excited to try a busier one on my trip to Georgia. However, I was very disappointed with the service I received. When I was making my order, the cashier repeatedly turned her back to me to talk to her coworkers while I was still speaking. After I got through my order (3 smoothies- 2 Bahama Mamas and one Pomegranate Plunge with Pea Protein), I noticed that she had rung up Soy protein for my smoothie, instead of the Pea protein I asked for. (Maybe they don't have Pea protein at this location, I'm not sure, but she did not specify either way). I asked her to make sure it was Pea protein, and she assured me that she would fix it. When my smoothies came out, they were not marked, and looked pretty similar, so I asked the employee which ones were the Bahama Mamas. She took the straws and tapped two of the smoothies to indicate which smoothies they were, as if not to have to explain with words. The smoothies ended up tasting good, except for the fact that mine clearly tasted like it was made with Whey protein, which I had not asked for at all. As a side note, the cashier was not wearing a mask at all, and another employee was wearing a mask only over his mouth and chin. I'm not too picky about people wearing masks around me, but I know others are more sensitive to it, especially with workers in a fast food establishment. I understand that working at Trop can be stressful from time to time, I just felt that the customer service could have been so much better. Decided to check this place after searching for a healthy vegetarian dive. The place was easy to find, and the staff was super friendly which is always a plus! So I ended up not being able to fight temptation this day after staring at the menu I ended up going with the jerk chicken wrap which was great but a bit high in calories so I only ate half.
