I've had the smoothies before at other locations and they are wonderful. This time we tried the food and smoothies from this location. I started with the Buffalo chicken wrap. Chicken with buffalo sauce, lite ranch, tomatoes, Romain lettuce and mozzarella cheese. The heat was mild but enough to set off the other flavors. I really liked it, it gets a recommend! My SO had the Three cheese chicken quesadilla and it was barely ok. Sauce was just ok, minimal chicken and little cheese. Not recommended. For a smoothie, I had the Pomegranate plunge. Just delicious and a big cup of it! Ya, that's what I'm talking! We will be back and will try other foods. read more

Tropical Smoothie is my new go to place. The food was delivered hot and full of flavor. There are so many options to customize your meals to your liking. The Kiwi Quencher smoothie was delicious, will definitely order again. Good serving sizes, good taste, good prices. This is a great option if you'd like a less traditional and healthier meal option. I was a little put off by the servers attitude when I asked for a 12 oz smoothie and a sandwich. She was rather rude about telling me I had to buy a large smoothie. I was trying to try a new flavor and I didn't want a large in case I didn't like it. She didn't want to hear or care. If that is company policy it should be stated. I know it is a kids size. So I left and went down the street to another smoothie place. I have had great service in the past but I'm not going to put up with the attitude. Thanks! read more

I never write reviews, this is actually my first one. I went to the Huber Heights Tropical Smoothie and they rang in my wrap as a salad by accident. I didn't realize this until I had already left, so I figured I would stop by the Tropical Smoothie in Troy on my way home. I asked them if they would be able to take my salad and turn it into a wrap instead. They did not have to do this, since the mistake wasn't even their store. The manager had me keep the salad and had his staff make me a wrap and give me more chips as well. The staff was extremely nice and I have never had issues with this store. I ordered take out today and when I got back to work two of the sides were missing. My coworker called to make a complaint and the Manager proceeded to tell her that he remembers me asking for one of the sides before I left. I'm pretty sure I didn't ask for a side and had I done so I would have asked for both that were missing. I then got on the phone with him and he said he remembers me asking for a side and in the same breath he said he has had a plethora of online orders missing their side. I proceeded to tell him maybe there is a giant conspiracy where customers are trying to swindle some sides but I was not one of them. I also asked if he had cameras and he can check to see if I did in fact come back in the store. Completely disappointed in how he handled the situation. I won't be going back. read more

Met a friend at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe & had a great experience! Numerous choices of smoothies and a nice variety of entrees on the menu board! I ordered the peach smoothie and a chicken wrap with their kale-apple salad! The smoothie was delicious... fresh peach flavor! The wrap and salad were also very tasty and filling! Café was super clean, crew member was in dining room constantly sweeping the floor and cleaning tables. The cashier, Katheryn, was friendly and repeated order back to us to make sure it was correct. Food and smoothies came out quickly. Thai Chicken salad was great! Other members of our group had the Super Green Caesar wrap with they said was amazing. The Mocha Madness and Strawberry Limeade were delicious! Restrooms were very clean, a must for me. I spoke with the manager, he was very friendly; I could tell he loves his job. They have good food and smoothies. I love their chicken quesadillas and the pomegranate plunge smoothie. Reasonably priced for the quality.

Smoothies are delicious and the food is good. I particularly like that Splenda can be substituted for suger. I will say that the smoothies and sandwiches are pretty high calorie especially when paired together. Having a bowl and smoothie made with Splenda is more reasonable. Breakfast is the best as the smoothies are discounted by $2 and the breakfast food is reasonably priced and good. read more
