Their website has a popup on the home page saying it comes with fried haddock, potato pancakes, applesauce, and rye bread, but the popup doesn't list the price and it isn't available through the online ordering function. I ended up calling in an order to go, substituting wheat bread for the rye, and also added a piece of lemon ginger coffee cake. The lemon ginger coffee cake tasted fine, but man was it dry. Like Sahara Desert dry. Maybe this was an anomaly and their other baked goods are better, but I'd be hesitant to try them based on this coffee cake. Even though the website says the side is potato pancakes with applesauce, my fish fry came with fries. They ended up being the best part of the meal, which I certainly wasn't expecting. Still, I was disappointed cause I prefer potato pancakes and was given their inclusion as an expectation. The wheat bread itself was ok, but the butter was oddly unsalted. The fish, of which there was three pieces, was battered with a hint of beer, but like the butter for the bread there was no salt to speak of in the batter. As much as I didn't enjoy the unsalted butter for the bread, not having salt in the batter for the fish managed to be more unpleasant. Maybe Blue's Egg should just stick with serving breakfast items instead of adding something temporary that they clearly aren't pros at.

She was super attentive and checked in on us. So much to choose from and I was torn. I did decided to order off the summer menu. I had the Rosti benedict. It arrived looking gorgeous. However, I cut it right down the middle to get that runny egg yolk and where want one ...? There wasn't an egg. It seemed like it rest a scoop of maybe farmers cheese or something like that. I didn't say anything because I thought I misread the description. I looked later and realized it should have had a poached egg. Ugh. I did miss that a lot. Main reason for taking off a star - dish not made correctly. The rest of it was very good. The potatoes delish are usual. My cousin had the herb omelette with ham, the potatoes and side of pancakes. She enjoyed it and took half home for breakfast tomorrow, unless her husband finds it first. Of course we will be back to try other things in the menu. It's a really great place for brunch/lunch.

You can go with a traditional Smashburger, or choose the Duck Fat Burger, which isn't smashed and is cooked in duck fat. I've had both, and I think they're equally amazing. My burger was cooked to a perfect medium, everything arrived hot, and it was packed with flavor on a lightly toasted bun. Paired with the crispy fries, it made for a terrific meal. The portions are generous, so I even had leftovers. The burger and fries reheated surprisingly well in the air fryer the next day. The service was personable and friendly, and the atmosphere is bright and comfortable, with plenty of room for small groups to enjoy a meal. The food and service has always been good. Today, we ordered Chilaquiles with Carnitas added in a verde salsa, Corned Beef Hash, and sides of hashbrowns and 2 pancakes (instead of toast). I was expecting the type of poached eggs that are like small balloons waiting to be popped so the egg yolk oozes out over the corned beef hash. These poached eggs were over-cooked and looked un-appetizing, but tasted fine. The hashbrowns were perfect - crispy and tender and properly seasoned! The side of pancakes were fluffy and absorbed the syrup quickly. Overall a good visit. The food was mostly on point, except for the disappointing poached eggs and lack of onions and bell peppers often found in a hash. If I go back, I'll stay away from their benedicts (since poached eggs are not executed correctly, and corned beef hash, and instead stick with the Chilaquiles.

Stopped by on a random Monday for dinner and got their $5 burgers and a drink! It was pretty busy…read moreinside for a Monday and we were able to get seated outside on their cute little patio area. I ordered my burger medium rare, and while it was a solid burger, it was a bit unappetizing when I picked up my burger and it was soaking in a pool of liquid and was a bit messy/soggy to eat. I ended up taking it home to eat instead. Service was fine and the food came out quickly!
