Customer service was amazing! I wish I caught your name for this review but to the young lady working 10/07/25 about 3pm you deserve a million blessings. My boys had so much fun here. We spent maybe 2 & 1/2 hours going through corse. Super cute and super fun!

The first thing the hubby says as we get out of the truck... mmmmm what's that smell! Haha we walked in and he realizes it's coming from the mini golf. He was already planning to eat after we finished playing haha Service received from those who helped was great! They even took my jokes and interacted with my children when they asked questions. My kids had a blast, which included a 2 year old. Haha We also had an infant with us which required a stroller, when I say stroller like the full travel system and it's not like a compact size stroller. We were able to bring the stroller with us into all 18 holes and had no trouble going through the courses even though this place wasn't exactly huge. Food was good! We got to try free samples of the sausage, but we ordered: 1-plate of the brisket, pork belly with mac n cheese and rice 1- plate of the brisket, pulled pork with Mac salad and rice 1-pulled pork nachos 1-Mac n cheese Which my husband and kids enjoyed! They especially loved the brisket!!! He complimented the smoked items and even the baked beans that came with my Nachos which he ate. Hahaha And even tho my kids were done eating their food they still ate some of my nachos. Unfortunately, they didn't have any water available, but was glad that they allowed us to go and grab our water flasks front the vehicle. For dessert we ordered: 2- shave ice. Upon receiving the order I was told they unfortunately were out of ice cream and on the sign it said toppings were a $1 but was charged $1.50. They had already made the shave ice so we still decided to keep it regardless if there was no ice cream. And as for the overcharged toppings, When I brought it up, we were gonna get whatever refund we were supposed to get, instead decided to get a drink and pay the difference. But they were friendly enough to just give the drink without paying any difference due to not having ice cream and over charging topping. Other than that my husband and I had a good family Sunday outing with our kids ( 7,6,2 y/o & a NB) Tropics Mini golf was close to home where we didn't have to go to town or the other side of the island.

A super fun activity to play with friends/family or even on a date! Located behind Down to Earth Pearlridge. You can choose to play 9 or 18 holes. Before or after you play, they serve Texas style BBQ - their meats are smoked and cooked slowly for 8-10 hours which makes it extra tender and yummy! This is everything we got - Brisket Chili Bowl (new menu item), Loaded Tots, Pulled Pork Sliders, Brisket Plate, Bentos - pulled pork and pork belly. The brisket chili bowl, loaded tots, and pulled pork sliders were my favorites!!! The brisket plate was a bit tough the day I went which was a little disappointing. They also have shave ice and other frozen treats! You can make your reservations online. General admission fee is $12.75 and kama'aina/military fee is $10.95. NOTE: they are closed on Tues & Wed.

We've come here several times but it's been about 3 years. Many changes have happened and it looks great. We loved the added pond with koi. The food was great. Prices are really good too. The tater tots were crispy and crunchy! All 6 of us got bento's. It was plenty of food for one person. Service was great. The guy that was taking our order was patient with our family of 6. He actually got us in earlier than we expected. We will definitely be coming again very soon. We all had a great time!

If you blink you might miss the turn into the parking lot. This is the sign you are looking for, Enjoy!

Looking for a little family fun out of the sun in Oahu?! Tropics Mini Golf is where it is at!!! The putt putt course is covered by a lush and tropical canopy. The course is dynamic and fun... it really captures the essence of the islands! The BBQ (non Hawaiian bbq) was the best we had on island and it's reasonably priced. They also have Shave ice on site which was the perfect treat to wrap up our fun family outing.

Amazing ! We had so many kids with us and it was a time ! This is tucked away right by the down to earth so we got some snacks before we went but no need they had shaved ice and snacks there and they were huge our kids got to share a couple . The people were friendly and helpful . Such a cute spot for date night !

Beautiful area, fun activity to do IF you don't mind waiting... it wasn't completely busy when me and my fiance went but there was like 2 parties behind us. We aren't great golfers so it took us forever... but being considerate and not wanting to hog the play

Tropics Mini Golf is located next to the Down to Earth store, in the old Toys R' Us space in across from Pearlridge Center. I've never been to mini golf and we decided it would be a fun thing to try. Works well as a casual date activity. There are 18 holes and the golf course area is 1 1/2 football fields long. I liked that we could choose the color of the gold ball we used. The worker was friendly and explained how everything worked. This is their website, https://tropicsminigolf.com/ and you can find them on IG @tropicsminigolf There are a few different admission rates. General, Kama'aina, military, senior, and kids. They offer the venue for parties/ celebrations and larger groups at different package rates. You can book your Tee Time on their website to guarantee your spot. "Scheduling a tee time has become the new normal at TMG. We have been getting a lot of positive feedback and our customers are enjoying their experience more. The best part of the new system, no waiting to play and it won't be crowded when you come. Setting up a tee time is required to play. We recommend scheduling in advance to guarantee your spot before you come. Its highly recommended on the weekends. You can walk in without scheduling ahead also. If you come in without an advanced reservation we will schedule you for the next tee time we have available. We keep some spots open for groups of 2-3. If your group is 2-3 and you come in or call its possible that we could fit you in even if our tee time system online isn't showing an open time." They offer food including Texas BBQ plates (Our meats are cooked slowly onsite for 8-10 hours. We use our own secret recipe of seasonings and the proper combination of hickory and mesquite wood to make the best BBQ on the island), nachos, tater tots and fries, sides, keiki meals, shave ice and ice cream. We didn't try the food so I can't comment, but it's convenient that they offer it here. There are some tables with umbrellas in the front for dining. The trees and plants were a bit overgrown, but they did a really good job of providing shade. We did lose a ball in the bushes but then we found another ball to use, so win win? ;D When it did rain some of the drizzles fell through. Nothing unbearable though but with heavy rain I'm not sure. As you're out in the open here, there's no covering around the holes. Around the first and last hole there is a waterfall that goes into a koi pond. The fishes are bright and colorful. I think it adds to the ambiance. There were areas that could use some fixing up and maintaining, but overall most of it wasn't super run down. For the price and experience, it's not bad. I liked the Tiki Spinners they had at certain holes. You would spin it and follow the directions on where it landed. These kept the game interesting and fun. There was one hole where after spinning the spinner, I was allowed to throw the ball by hand and that got me a hole in one LOL. Ironic as I was joking about bowling with the golf ball earlier. I'd say if you haven't yet, try it out! Have fun golfing :)

Located right next to down to earth across from pearlridge mall. They have their own parking in front of the of their entrance. Came in on a Sunday around 3:45pm and there was only a few other groups. Lots of sitting room with benches and umbrellas. It is on a very lush and green course. Bring bug spray as there are mosquitos. It is very pretty with all the trees and a little waterfall with koi fish. It's a cute little course especially for the smaller ones. Took us about an hour or so. They also have food and drinks. Nice little afternoon spot for the family. Prices are very fair and reasonable.

Raised in Aiea! never heard of this place, until my daughter took the grandkids here 1 month ago. Thought we would check it out since we were at Pearlridge. Place looks pretty inviting from the outside. My grandson age 5 yrs. old wanted to play golf.. Very clean and the food was the bomb! For $15 we had pulled pork & briskets..amazing! You gotta check this place out, they're always Sold Out!! The shave ice was a steal for $4.75 with vanilla ice cream, so smooth and delicious!

I was originally planning to head windward side for mini golf but found Tropics on Yelp so decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did! We had so much fun here! The course itself is fairly easy but you get 18 holes for around $10 w/ Kamaaina. What a great deal! They have some pretty tasty food too. There's plenty of parking and the staff was very laid back and inviting.

Ordered by phone the day prior, and just gave them my phone number as usual (it's how they identify you when you pick up, with no worries about duplicate or misspelled names.). Every time I've ordered in advance, our order has always been packed neatly and ready in a box for takeout. (My brother had brought a box just in case, and smoothly offered it to their staff for someone else's future order.) The restaurant has several tables for dining in, and markings on the floor for those waiting in line. It's brightly lit and clean as well. I appreciate their staff, food, service, and generous servings. They make us look so good with our potluck contributions! So what did we order? Half chicken katsu, half chicken wings, a small platter ($45 for the small pan, but picture a much loaded tray) - it's a great value deal! It was the same order our cousins loved when we brought it on Christmas Day (they especially love the wings, but we love the katsu-so this year we asked for half-half instead of all katsu, and they were so happy, ha ha!) Oh, and they give you a nice big container of yummy katsu sauce;)! I like their panko and cooking method, as whatever they do, the chicken is nice and crisp, and tasty - with, or without the sauce, actually. First time that I actually tried the wings, as I'm not a wing person. (I didn't even try it at Christmas, lol.). But, it was nice and crisp, lightly seasoned, and the wings had lots of meat on them. Easy finger food, and they were not dripping in oil, either, which I appreciated! Also ordered (for the first time) a small platter of chicken chow mein (a little over $30?). It was based on a good recommendation by an admittedly biased family member of the owners, and we were pleasantly surprised! The small pan was covered in wrap and then foil, because the mound of noodles was seriously kinda big! My brother was like, quick, go tell mom to come look before we open it (as she's picky, so it's hard to impress her). It was filled with lots of veggies (sliced carrots, cabbage, onions, etc) and bbq chicken pieces, tossed with great flavor (I want to say it was a nice sauce, but this wasn't a wet noodle dish.). My dad added Chinese mustard soy sauce, but my mom and I thought it was perfect the way it was. Oh, don't laugh, we're only a family of four, so yes, we ate two meals - lunch and dinner - and still packed a ton of leftovers! As we watched the game, we commented to each other what great choices we had made. (We also had sushi trays and other treats, and of course, chips, and my brother's dip. My brother said we may not have had a favorite team to cheer on today, but it was a great excuse for a party, ha ha!) I know we're doing a repeat for our next occasion, for sure! We'll gradually try some of their other foods, and it's farther away than we'd like to drive (I know, it's not that far, but we live on the other side, ok?). My brother agrees it's worth the drive - it's across Aloha Stadium and literally in the same spot as Ice Palace; and we saw quite the line at the Taco Bell drive through when we were looking for parking;). He also compared it to the cost and serving size of what we ordered on New Year's, from a restaurant much closer to where we live. Hands down, it was not even a close comparison, his emphasis added. So go here, it's perfect for family dinners and potlucks and I hope you agree with my assessment;)! Oops, I didn't take any pictures, aiya!!!
