    Uncooked salmon.. not good
    Lauren R.

Beautiful scenery outside the restaurant & the menu looked amazing, but lemon pepper salmon came out under cooked ( raw in the middle). In our party someone else's steak came back raw instead of medium well.

We came here with a large group for a late lunch. The service was fantastic and both the menu options and the food itself were great. To start we had the ahi tartare and the calamari. Both were phenomenal and bursting with flavor. For our entrees our group ordered everything from the filet to the burger, pasta and more. Everybody was served a moderate portion and overall the food was very good. Prices were high for the Lansing area but not obnoxious. Drinks were also very good and affordably priced.

Best martini under $10 I've had...ever. The Troppotini is a must.

Each time I visit my brother's family in Lansing, I check out this restaurant. It has the best patio in town and great happy hour and Sunday specials. But what I really enjoyed most outside of the food is the Troppotini- a fabulous martini that is made of vodka infused raspberries. And it is under $10. This place is a bit on the expensive side but if you go on Sunday you'll get a third off. Overall I like it. But I don't know if I would go on a day that isn't Sunday or happy hour. Paying 20 bucks for chicken marsala in downtown Lansing doesn't seem justifiable to me.

Margarita pizza, supposed to have basil, but that's alfalfa sprouts!

Our appetizers were each excellent. Our group ordered the Brussels sprouts and white fish dip. Would order those again. For entres, we enjoyed the burgers, filet mignon, chicken bowl, and crab caps. Each of us enjoyed our meal and agreed we would recommend these plates to family & friends. The service was lights out. Attentive, fast, yet not intrusive. From beginning to end, on a busy evening, the team performed exceptionally. Well done EnVie team. We will certainly be back.

The restaurant is quaint but with sufficient seating to accommodate both small and medium sized groups. There is ample parking as it is located in a downtown district. The decor is simple modern, nice clean lines every where you look. Our waitress, along with those assisting her with food and drink were abundantly pleasant and welcoming. At one point the waitress prepared to offer me and my dining companions the drink specials and I jokingly asked her if she would "freestyle them" while I beatboxed. She admitted she was horrible but was down to try! We were both horrible but the exchange was fantastic and very personable! We appreciated her and her service throughout our evening. All of the cocktails we selected were well made with high quality liquors, no complaints there! The food. The food, the food was superb! We all enjoy the presentation of our dishes, beautiful and simple! Everything tasted well balanced and flavorful served in perfect portions. Our only complaint here was the pasta in the Cacio e Pepe. It was a little heavy and thick in texture but the flavors and the lump crab made up for it! The gluten free cake was shared by the table and enough for all to feel just the tiniest bit gluttonous! I look forward to returning to Envie to check out more of their menu and perhaps be able to have the same waitress.

There was one small piece of lobster in this bite, so not the most generous portion for the price. Main: 6 Oz Filet Mignon 3/5 - The meat was cooked well (to medium rare) and had a great crust on the exterior. This carried the dish (as it should). The accompanying sides, mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies, would be best left out. The broccolini and green beans were salty and overcooked, extremely soft and cooked well past it's ideal texture. The mashed potatoes were ok, but are just there as a filler. Side: Michigan Kale Salad 2/5 - The ingredient list sounded superb, but the execution was not there. The kale pieces were LARGE and were hard to eat in bites. It desperately needed another chop (or few) and a deep tissue massage. The salad was also HEAVY on the red onion - if that's your thing, then this is a great salad for you. The red onion was added with a heavy hand and needed to be soaked in water prior to serving to get rid of the pungent bite. Pass. The free bread rolls were ok as well, but I would rather have a Texas Road House roll.

There is plenty of parking as it is located in a large plaza surrounded by shopping and hotels. The food was beautifully plated and the scallops Rockefeller were the best items of the night! We literally could have made an evening of the scallops, the bread, and the amazing martinis! The sea bass and morels do deserve an honorable mention as they were extremely tasty and well prepared. The rest of our food was ok and overrated, thereby overpriced. The service would bring us back but at the prices perhaps we will stick to cocktails and appetizers.

Ordered the crab Rangoon dip, yummy crunch, cali roll with cream cheese, pad Thai, croque monsieur (because mom has never tried it and figured it could be worth a try), gouda Mac and cheese, chicken hibachi. $89+ Sushi, American and an eclectic mix of cuisine here. The cali roll is so-so. The chicken hibachi was overcooked and not much flavor. Comes with plain rice. I asked if I could get more veggies, another staffer said yes. Never saw one more piece of veggie at all, beyond what comes with the hibachi. The croque monsieur is ok, not super flavorful, the cheese on top seems like an afterthought. The crab Rangoon dip was decent. Wontons are nicely fried. Pitas aren't too bad. The smoked Gouda is quite good, the cork screw noodles are perfect with the cheese blend. The pad that is just okay, could have used a lime and some bean sprouts. Bar feel inside. Glad they have booths, my mother feels more comfortable in them, more closed off and protective than a table and chairs in the middle of the dining area. Our waitress wasn't too bad. Did end up interacting with other staff for items. We asked one waiter with chin length hair on his left side and short or shaved on the right side to take a picture, he looked annoyed and couldn't be bothered to take a picture of my family. He only took one picture and it was bleary and far away. Glad this sour grape didn't wait on us today. Phew!

Riesling was very good quality. We ordered the steak bites and wedge caesar to start with. Both were delicious, however, steak bites were expensive ($17) for only four pieces. Caesar wedge salad we added bacon which made that go from $14 to $17 as well. Salad wasn't a fresh wedge, but a chopped caesar salad. Dressing was a bit heavier than I'd prefer but it was an overall good salad. For entrees, we got the Jerk Chicken and the Garlic Shrimp Linguine. My bf enjoyed the jerk chicken and sauce. He wasn't a fan of the green beans. I enjoyed the linguine and it came with about 5 jumbo shrimp which was plentiful for the meal. Pasta was a little bit oily but still delicious. The bar was decorated with the theme of valentines with a big heart which was nice and on theme for the upcoming holiday. They also had a humidor full of cigars that you could purchase while there. Outside of the price point being a little higher than the quality presented, it's overall a nice one-of-a kind establishment in that area with a unique vibe. Really good upscale, grown, and sexy spot that plays r&b, soul and hip-hop music.
