I have been a Trove shopper for almost 6 years. There is always a vast array of merchandise and the prices are affordable. The staff are all amazing knowledgeable patient people. They have everything from clothing-shoes-purses-designer plus jewelry housewares art electronics .... This is a very inclusive consignment store. I both buy and consign and have to say from start to finish it is always a first rate experience. It's a great place to bring your mens/womens clothing that is sitting in your closet and turn it into money. The best part is you can shop right after purging your closet. I always see a lot of people in store and I realized how popular it has become. The shop was even featured on Spectrum News. Trove has a great selection. There's a mix of higher end items and much cheaper pieces, but even the cheap pieces you can tell have been selected with thought. They have home stuff as well, they often have sales going on and the employees were very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be going back when I feel like I need a good thrift. Only reason it's not 5 star is because the racks are quite packed and it's hard to shuffle through everything, this location might just be a bit small for them. read more

Excellent selection of clothing from casual to formal. All items I viewed or considered were in good to excellent condition. Lots of labels, many 1 of a kind finds, "Eclectic". Items are organized, well displayed Designer purses, accessories, shoes & some sneakers a bit high for used not so clean condition . Some household items/collectables vases, dishes etc. Most items here are quality& you don't have to go through 100 items to find that gem -- they are all gems here. So if you like a specific designer chances are high you will find what you're looking for at Trove. Have a special occasion/date? You will find something here for sure. I looked up the best place to sell clothes in LA. Per yelps recommendation, I figured I'd try it out. However, the service was horrible. The workers were showing my items while going through them to one another and visibly laughing with each other about some of the clothes I brought in. The whole experience was giving very much mean girl. It was embarrassing as I could see it happening as well as everyone else in the store. I definitely don't recommend. read more

Let me start off by saying I do really like shopping at Trove. However, this past Tuesday I wasn't impressed with one of the staff/management. The employee was berating a customer/consignment participant who had been asking for help. The employee spoke in a condescending tone, short fused and rude. This behavior is truly unwarranted. I wanted to correct my recent review of The Trove resale boutique. My previous remarks were based on an unfortunate situation for me which occurred several months ago. After which, I decided not to continue my patronage. I was recently "triggered" to recall the past experience after receiving a text of an upcoming sale at The Trove this weekend. The owner of The Trove offered a reasonable and understanding reply to my recent review. The owner acted appropriately after I reported the experience which was that two pieces of value to me, were missing in my bags when I arrived home and have never been recovered. I didn't realize that at that time I could have asked to review security cameras which would have recorded my check-out experience. Since I never recovered the two items, this left a bitter taste in my mouth. If I would have pursued the situation with the owner further, I could have rid myself of a longstanding negative opinion of The Trove. To be perfectly honest, The Trove resale boutique DOES DESERVE 5 stars. I say this as I had been a loyal customer for 7 years and had nothing but positive experiences. The Trove owner and I had become friends over that period in time and these circumstances have ended that, rightly so on her part. The Trove is, by-far, one of the top resale boutiques offering a plethora of mid to high end items. There items are all sanitized before being displayed, there are terrific extra discount opportunities, the boutique is immaculately organized and one of the greatest features is the client appreciation, point system. Each purchase is worth points which are accumulated so customers can be rewarded for their sales. The Trove is selective as to what they will take in; but that is because they want to sell high-quality items. In closing, please accept this review of The Trove as accurate; not the one I wrote in haste and without thinking what the overall effect my review could have on the owner, her family, her employees and The Trove, itself. The owner is to be commended for building a successful business not only for the Westwood community but for so, so, so many of us resale shoppers! read more

I took my very first steps into this wonderland just before last Christmas when I needed some holiday decor & did want to buy vintage and authentic items instead of low-quality new ones in the market. Now I am officially a regular trove seeker in there and I've been lucky to have found the most precious items that whimsically adorn my home. The shop owner is a true gem and the staff are extra friendly and attentive, the store provides a great reward program with NO commercial marketing nonsense, and also a fun daily discount plan. The prices are absolutely reasonable and they don't push you to buy stuff if you don't feel confident about them and they give you their honest opinion which for me is a plus point. They don't have large furniture due to lack of space :( but I have seen practical & sometimes adorable smaller pieces. Kitchenware on the other hand, there's an abundance of it. They almost always have a good number of designer label pieces as well, and an interesting collection of shoes and purses. In a nutshell, you may find so many sustainable shopping stores around LA, but this one is a real treasure not only for buyers, but also as a consigner, if you have some items that somebody else can enjoy more than you, as I have learned that they provide you with a truly fair contract. read more

I felt VERY UNWANTED AND UNCOMFORTABLE. There was a store employee, maybe owner that followed me around. It was insulting. I am 55 years old and I'm differently not interested in stealing from your god-awful(small "g") place. I'm coming from the Inland Empire, I travel around to any city and all city, to different thrift stores. I'm a personal shopper also, so I shop a lot and recommend a lot of places. I will for sure tell ANYONE that's listen about my experience here. I went to another store and was so upset I purchased $200 in merchandise. My lifestyle is all pink and I really wanted this dress, but NOT WITH THAT TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. Oh, by the way YES, Im a black lady. Maybe that's why she chose to follow me. Edit: Don't have it in me to leave a 1 star. Thanks to the nice lady who scoured the shelves for that 4th mug! The selection at this store is good, but the experience was really uncomfortable. One of the women working there was helping my mom and I find the last mug in a set of 4, because it was nowhere to be found. Her boss seemed to be arguing with another customer, so it was kind of awkward already. The woman helping us kept asking her boss what to do and was brushed off multiple times because she didn't want to break up a set of items (even though I was totally ok paying full price for 3). My mom and I weren't in a rush so we were cool with continuing to look for the 4th. The woman helping us asked her boss again what to do, and she snapped at us "just don't buy them then" and walked away. I'm not sure why everyone was so tense because there weren't that many people inside. I felt bad for the woman helping us. :( read more

Trove is a great thrift store. They have high end designer pieces at great prices. You just have to hunt! They offer home goods, purses, and shoes. The owner usually has her sale racks at the front of the store. I have found some amazing items for under $10.00. But, like every thrift store it is hit and miss on what you will find. Very friendly atmosphere. There's not much in the men's clothing section, but what they have is quality. Bought a pair of nice jeans for a fraction of the retail cost. I went to Trove over the weekend with my 16 year old daughter who likes to "thrift". I have spent a lot of time in used clothing stores. Trove was very well organized. The area containing homewares especially stood out. Often times in stores, this area gets destroyed by customers. Not here, things were grouped and laid out so that you could see everything. The staff has obviously taken the time to make it shopper friendly. They also use a color coded ticket system where certain colored tickets were on varying degrees of sale. Since part of the fun at stores like this is finding a screaming deal, it actually added a little fun to it to see if your item's ticket color was on the wall. The employees were easy to spot. There was enough staff to handle the dressing rooms, registers and customer questions. I was watching them while my daughter was taking forever in the changing room. The store is larger than what I have seen in pictures. They also have parking at and near the business. The target customer is probably older than my daughter, but she still walked out with a sweater and a coat. read more

The stuff is very friendly. They always have unique finds. I've bought many nice clothing, vintage dresses to vintage house decors over the years. This is definitely an hidden gem to find unique things. They used to have very good sales but maybe due to Covid they stopped all that. I'm not sure. I've bought some shoes for as low as $5 and it's matched a lot of my outfits. I've bought a Japanese vintage straw bag for $10 ?and I looked it up online people were selling the same bag for $60.
