Trove is a fabulous consignment/resale store. Their stock-- from LV and Chanel to trendy fast-fashion-- is well-priced and authenticated. Everything turns over quickly. However, as a consignor, you can waste a lot of time and by the time they sell your things, it's not worth the time and energy it takes. SO: Better to shop at than to consign. Nice thrift store - good selection of quality, secondhand goods (household, clothing, jewelry, etc). There are fitting rooms in the back and free parking. Unfortunately, I experienced a microaggression from one of the staff and being crowded by staff while shopping, which adversely impacted my initial view of the store. However, upon bringing it to the attention of the manager-owner, the matter was responsibly acknowledged and will hopefully be rectified. 9/6 5pm There's entirely too many workers here. They were nice and greeted me when I walked in which I was surprised about. Everywhere I turned there was a worker blocking my way, only one saying excuse me. The one with the red hair was even touching my back, back to back, as I was browsing through the pants to do something right behind me. Usually people will wait until you're done to organize the stuff by a customer. As I'm walking from the shoes one tall blonde is saying excuse me as I'm browsing as she's coming from the counter behind me. I'm not sure maybe the place needs to be less packed so there's more space. I tried not to be offended and wasn't going to rush out of her way or throw my arms up and talk out loud like I would usually do because I wanted to be peaceful, but it was so annoying that I just left instead of buying the stuff I wanted. It was interesting that all the stuff was expensive because it was almost new condition and I saw some stuff I wanted but it was really just stressful. Upscale Buffalo exchange. I was disappointed that I didn't see any men's clothing. I go to thrift stores and shop to destress. This was the actual opposite. read more

LOVE Trove! First of all, they have a great selection of home goods, clothing and shoes. The hunt at Trove is pretty easy. They have everything organized by size and categories. The home area is easy to shop and now they have an area just for sale goods. Makes it super easy. Another reason I LOVE trove is their sales staff. I come from the retail world and know how hard it is. They are truly are so KIND! They even remember your name. Driving through Los Angeles on an early morning and ended up in Westwood! I had the urge to shop and find some treasures to add to my home and stumbled upon this brilliant vintage thrift store! I'm glad I decided to wait until their doors opened at 11am SHARP! As soon as I entered I was astonished by the designer items! I spent a little over $200.00 here by purchasing a mink fur coat, limited edition Ralph Lauren jeans, and some lovely skin care items. They have a colored tag sale going right now and I highly recommend visitors to take a look and shop here! Everything that isn't authentic they will let you know. However, there are so many items that are luxury and high quality at its finest. Definitely a beautiful store with amazing top tier customer services. They sell counterfeit Chanel bags labeled "faux channel" on a tag, which was odd. Also, their consignment process is weird; they take the clothes they are interested in but don't tell you what price they will sell until a few days later. If you don't agree with the price they have listed, they say, "You will have to go out on the floor and collect your items yourself." The Trove is one of the secrets to my success. I can get designer clothes at a third of the cost. Many of the pieces are brand new with the tags still on them. Wealthy women drop them off and I get to look great in them. No one is the wiser. I love The Trove! read more

Went back in and while the selection is still good the service was not. I asked for the gentleman who was the manager that helped me the last time I came in and apparently he no longer works there. A lovely shopping adventure in LA! I frequent every two weeks, and the ladies are so attentive and sweet to me. Although I can afford retail stores I adore the magnificent Desighner clothes a tenth of the cost in lovely little boutique. My treasures have included home goods shoes and beautiful sweaters!
