I came here and ordered the lamb plate (really good!) and the mezze plate -- the food overall was solid and flavorful. That said, there were a couple of service hiccups that brought the experience down. We asked for a $15 bottle of wine, and the server suggested a "better" bottle at the same price. I confirmed three times that it would be matched at $15. Instead, he ended up only bringing us glasses of wine and declined to give us the bottle, which didn't feel right. On top of that, pita bread took forever to come out, and our water glasses weren't refilled. The food here is definitely worth trying, but the service left me frustrated -- hopefully it was just an off night.

A lovely Greek family owned restaurant with great vibes. It serves hot pita and the most flavorful chicken and tomato's you could imagine. Even fillers like salad or rice are some of the best I have ever had. I recommend the Turkish chicken meatballs, they have a bit of everything with an amazing chicken that breaks apart in your mouth and is delicious. And comes with an amazing dip.

First timer at Troy ATX, and I have to say it did not disappoint:) The ambiance first off was not what I expected when I walked in (in a good way)! The location was obscure so I did not have expectations for the inside. That said I think I was fabulously surprised by "don't judge a book by its cover," because the inside was a cute setup. A small hidden gem, but well dimmed for a Friday night dinner. The service was also great, very fast, responsive, and happy to help. Now the food let's get into what we really want to hear. Chicken Skewer plate: The chicken skewer plate was great because the chicken itself was juicy and well marinated. The rice on the side was something I was not the biggest fan of. It missed a lot of marks for what I usually think of when I think Mediterranean Turkish rice. That said, the rest of the plate made up for it with a pretty good salad, granted I got the entire hummus board. I absolutely threw extra hummus, tzatziki, and other flavoring on my rice. It was served with a salad that had some great toppings and of course the poblano pepper and tomato. The board dips: These various hummus, tzatziki boards were good, but I definitely must say it was a fun shareable board. There were 6 different dips all of which I tried. Now I cannot name each one, but I do think they all hit the mark of pretty close to fabulous tastings. Turkish coffee: This coffee was the favorite in my experience. It was strong, but it had a great cut of sweetness. You are served these chewy sugar pieces on the side, I do not know the name but I enjoyed them with the coffee. The way the coffee is served is also a wonderful treat because it is well presented. Overall, I would give this hidden gem a try.

I went here for lunch with my friend, and the service was 10/10 while the food was delicious! We got the chicken kebab, douma, and the mixed meat plate. Everything was cooked really well and the seasoning was amazing. I especially like their douma the most. We also get to tried their tea. The waiter today was awesome and very considerate. We don't know his name, but he truly did an amazing job and we appreciate it!

Overall great service and a nice place to get your Mediterranean/Turkish food fix if you are ever in North Austin. The first time I came here was with a friend, and we shared some small dishes off the appetizer side of the menu. We tried a dish that was like hummus but a darker red color and spicier, which I found exquisite. I decided from that visit that my next mission was to bring my boyfriend and try some of the entree specials. I had the chance to do just that last weekend. My boyfriend got a meat dish (Turkish meatball dish) and I got the falafel platter. My plate came with rice, two small pita triangles, a modest side salad, halved falafel balls, hummus, and tahini. I feel like it could have come with more sauce to balance the falafel, but overall it was a reasonably-portioned plate. We were also given samples of grape leave rolls and a pistachio dessert to try! My boyfriend was incredibly impressed and now wants to come back so we can try the Turkish coffee (we were too full to try it during this visit!). The staff was super friendly and nice, and was gracious to have us come by on a Saturday in the late afternoon (we were the only ones dining at the time). If you are looking for small business to support, definitely check out Troy ATX!

Already looking forward to returning! This little spot may be overlooked as it's a part of a strip behind the Chevron gas station, but don't be fooled. Worth getting to know this authentic Turkish taste of the Mediterranean. Yes, it's small. It's family-owned. Therefore, this might mean longer waits (so don't show up hangry). But because it's small and family-owned, you'll truly feel like you've come to the home of the owners, and once things start to slow down after the rush, you'll feel like you've been welcomed by the family as you get to know them. It's truly a family effort, and it's admirable to see how even a small service can work together to accommodate the needs of all their guests (15 tables). An eclectic ambiance, sharing vibrancy. Orhan, one of the sons, makes it a priority to provide the best service possible and cares to share the culture of his family; learning your names, opening doors, sharing details relevant to what you're eating/drinking (if you care to know). In the kitchen, Okan and Cam, make sure it's a collaborative effort and not simply a separation of front of house and back of house. We truly felt like we came to their home and were welcomed as family. Do yourselves a favor and order the Iskender. Not only is it tasty, but there's a presentation of the meal that you may not get elsewhere. Of course, it may come out quicker than you expect, so feel free to slow play it by starting with the Mezze Sampler. We decided against it and started with the lentil soup (perfectly pureed with a unique taste of olive oil with seasoning) and the Acuka. Perfect amount of pita, so you don't fill up before your meal. Of course, plan accordingly. You're not going to want to miss out on Turkish coffee. Beautiful presentation, with a unique experience. We look forward to returning to try the Baklava and Turkish Ice cream, along with some tea. Thank you to the family at Troy ATX for bringing a piece of your home to Austin.

Don't sleep on this place! I was in the area and stumbled upon this hidden gem. What originally brought me here was the Turkish coffee (which was so good, I ordered 2!), but the food sealed the deal. We ordered the mezze plate for 2 and it was so filling. Each dip was so flavorful; my favorites were the carrot, hummus, and shakshuka. We also shared a troy plate for a little bit of everything. I was surprised by how much food there was and the distinct flavor of each protein. Will definitely be back!

I've had plenty of mediterranean places before with the traditional gyro and rice place meat offerings, but not traditional authentic Turkish food. My turkish friend (doesn't live in Austin) looked at the menu and confirmed the menu and food is traditional Turkish dishes. I was torn between the Iskender Kebab or the meatballs, the serve recommended the iskender kebab as that was his favorite Turkish dish. I was not disappointed, definitely a unique combination of tomato sauce on gyro meat with chopped pita bread at the bottom. The yogurt complimented the meat and sauce very well. They added melted butter on top which was a very nice touch to bring out the flavors. I also ordered the pistaschio baklava, love the pistachio flavor but the baklava itself its just a tad bit too sweet for my taste. Service was great and they are super friendly. Would return to try other dishes!

It was a busy day, it was staring to rain and we needed food. We looked for restaurants nearby and took a chance here. Turkey has one of the best cuisines I have tasted. Apart from Turkey's history and culture, the food is something alone you could travel there for. I never thought I would taste that again but here at this restaurant was authentic Turkish food in Austin!!! I would definitely recommend coming here. read more

This is a nice place. It is nice to see a Turkish restaurant when you are so far away from Turkey. The service was very nice, I don't think Americans recognize good Turkish service. My server was very friendly. Good guy. The pirzola is good, but the iskender is ok. I think the only problem with the iskender is the tomato sauce, but I am no chef. This place is a real hidden gem. Unassuming exterior, fantastic ambiance and food. Everything we've tried has been good. To top it all off the staff is over the top friendly and helpful. I finally made out here with my family and I was happy I did, because the food and service was excellent. I always saw the ad in the community Impact newspaper. Sometimes there's an ad in there with a buy one entree get the second half off. We were greeted immediately, the menu is pretty simple which is good makes ordering faster, because there's aren't a million options. I went with the Beef Iskender, which consists of great tasting white rice, yogurt, and well seasoned beef with a tomato sauce, (not like the kind you find in Italian cuisine). The portion size is above average. Your meal includes tea hot or cold, your entree, and dessert all for around $11 average price I'd say. The muhallebi was great it's a diary style dessert, similar to flan. The entree was absolutely delicious my meat was very tender and enjoyable. My meal came in less than 10 minutes. I was there around lunch time on a Saturday and there were a few patrons dining. The service was really good. Orhan was my server, and happens to be on of the owners as well. He was very patient and understanding since I had my twin toddlers with me. He also wanted to ensure we enjoyed our food even if it would have been at his expense. Fortunately there was no need for that. My meal was superb. I'm looking forward to returning and spreading the word at work, since my co workers are always up for great tasting quality food and excellent service as well always helps. Troy is off the beaten path in the Valero gas station at Mesa Dr. And Spicewood Springs. Parking is ample however if Troy is packed it will be tight. The ambience is very cozy and relaxing. Decided to give this a try for takeout since I was in the neighborhood. Ordered online and contactless pickup was seamless. People who run it are lovely and everyone was wearing masks and gloves, everything felt super safe. With the sole exception of the Kofta.The food was disappointing, I'm sad to say. Got the Beef Iksander based on the recs here and it basically tasted of mushy meatloaf. The dips didn't taste like anything, and the chicken and rice were both very underseasoned. I wanted to love it, but I'll stick with Abo Youssef, Phoenicia, Mediterranean Chef when Mezze cravings hit again. read more

This is my kind of place. A hole in the wall in a small strip mall with limited parking. Décor is minimal but their focus is on the food. Their menu is simple. Choose: Wrap, salad, or plate Choose: Kofte Kabab, Beef Doner, Chicken Tantuni, Grill Chicken, Beef Iskender, Beef meatballs, Seasoned Beef, Diced Breast You are done. I chose the Iskender plate. It comes with seasoned rice, diced toasted pita covered in Beef doner slices, topped with a tomato sauce and finished at the table with a drizzle of melted butter. There was a huge dollop of yogurt on the side. The plate also comes with free Turkish tea and to end the meal, a Turkish dessert pudding (Tavukgogsu). You order at the counter than find a seat. They have a large communal table in the center with 2 or 4 person tables to the side. Yes, that empty space in the corner is for live music. There were two ladies in the kitchen cooking like there was no tomorrow. Two gentlemen manned the front section. Both of these men were smiling constantly, genuine smiles. The Turkish tea is brought to your table and the waiting begins. Since all the food is cooked after you order it, it does take a while to prepare. It took about twenty minutes and my plate was ready. First bite is the rice, perfectly seasoned. I know it is only butter and salt but bland rice is not worth eating. Next fork is a combo of a piece of pita, beef and tomato sauce. Wonderful flavors. The slight crunch of the pita, a beautiful char on the doner, and the tomato sauce added to the doner taste. I finished my entire plate. We were served another cup of tea while we waited for dessert. After waiting for 10 minutes, we decide to leave. That is when we were sent back to our seats for the desserts. They delivered what looked like a white flan. A spoon full told me this was a milk pudding. Almost a rice pudding without the rice. Not too sweet nor fatty. The price per person was about $10.00 each. The reason for only 4 stars is the inconsistency. I believe my plate was to come with a salad. It didn't. The delay after we finished to get our dessert. It wasn't crowded but there was constant running back to the kitchen because they forgot something read more

Very cute Mediterranean spot. Very different meats to choose from and vegetarian options as well. Everything was made fresh to order. I ad the falafels which were quite tasty. Not overly greasy. My friend had the meatballs and they were super juicy and my other friend had the chicken which was incredibly flavorful and tender. Not dry at all. Excellent Mediterranean food. I've been consistently disappointed at many spots throughout Austin. This however is simple, authentic and delicious. Well rounded and well worth it. I had the lamb and my partner had the beef (forgetting the names) and we split the Mezze platter. I particularly enjoyed their baba ghanouj and the pitas were fresh and tasty. Highly recommend going to even if out of the way. It'll be worth it. read more

The flavors are profiles are correct but the portions are too small. We were in Turkey at the beginning of year and I think we recognize what Turkish food is. You must try the chicken tantuni! It is flavorful, white pieces of chicken cut up and cooked with some veggies. The dish also comes with a salad and rice, which makes the dish come together perfectly. read more

Really good food. Everything fresh, well made and with great flavor. The service is friendly and welcoming, although they can get overwhelmed at times. The decor is pretty bare bones, but there are some Turkish touches to give you a little sense of place. It might not be my choice for a big night out, but for a good meal of authentic Turkish food, it definitely would. read more

I've dined here a number of times and I can't believe I haven't drop a review on Troy. I'll admit that I don't know jack about Turkish food ( I do love Turkish coffee aka rocket fuel) but I do like ethnic fare especially when it's spiced perfectly. This is a family run intimate venue so take a seat at a picnic table rub elbows with your fellow diners and just enjoy their wonderful food. Everything is homemade and with their open kitchen you can watch your lunch being prepared and plated. Their kebabs, gyros, and Combo plates are all fabulous. I'm in love with the subtle Turkish spices and if you are a heat seeker their sauces will satisfy. I believe I've been here 4-5 times and I have never been disappointed. Let's talk service. It's great! If you are not sure what to order ask. Want to add something to your plate just ask, no problems. Having the owner come by and sincerely ask if you enjoyed your lunch is a great touch. Be aware parking can be a hassle as this strip mall has kind of a weird setup. 5 Stars for Troy!! read more

Ordered an $8 gyro wrap on Grubhub for pickup as it was on my way to work. It was pretty good, not life changing, but it was better than going for fast food that's for sure. Definitely didn't get the full Troy experience so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and give them 4*. Not sure I'll ever sit down here for a meal since it's not near me, but you never know. read more

Super disappointed and confused. I ordered lamb and what I received was some sloppy cafeteria mixture of lamb with gross taste and bland. Came with rice, not at all what the pictures dictated which was a kabob and highly recommended. Even the eggplant was gross tasting and the quantity of food was minimal for the cost. I chose this place bc of the good reviews and bc I've had amazing Turkish food before.. This was a serious let down. I don't know if it's bc it was a takeout order or if they changed ownership or what ? but see pics attached, 100% not worth the money. Just so disappointed. read more

Troy is an authentic Turkish restaurant tucked away behind a gas station. Hard to find, but worth the find! Appetizer: The hummus, saksuka (eggplant dip, not same as the Israeli shakshuka), and falafels all make delightful appetizers. I could have eaten just saksuka for my lunch- it was so well rounded in taste. Mains: I've tried the falafel plate, lamb kavurma, and kofte kabab plates. Falafels are nice & crispy, six to a plate. The lamb kavurma is stewed lamb meat and wonderfully seasoned. The Kofte Kababs are mildly spicy (made infinitely better - imo - by their spicy sauce) and shaped like small beef patties. All plates come with salad and rice, with a few options for substitutions. Dessert: The baklava is delicious and really well made. Two pieces to an order. Definitely get these. Coffee: Finally, my favorite part, Turkish Coffee! If you haven't had Turkish coffee before, prepare for some bitterness, and plenty of grounds at the bottom. It feels like a coffee ceremony, served on traditional platters with Turkish delites and chilled water. (see pics!) In all, a delicious and reasonably priced lunch venue. Drink service can be slow if they only have one person on waitstaff, but is much better when there are two. read more

Experiencing a meal at Troy ATX is so cozy! This family restaurant serves amazing Mediterranean food and I can't get enough!! Everything that I had, both from my plate and others', was spectacular. My mouth felt like it was in heaven when I had the Mezze platter. Please come here if you want good food and atmosphere!! My only complaint is that their restrooms are not gender-inclusive, but I will gladly hold my bladder for this delicious food. 5 stars for the Iskender alone. You really have to try Iskender if you haven't before. I don't think there's anywhere else in the Austin area serving this either, since Turquoise Grill closed. Everything is just prepared really well and it tastes very authentic. My friend disagreed with me but he's Persian so he probably doesn't know what he's talking about. My only gripe is that there is no feta in the side greek salad. Just put a little feta, please! read more

The food was fresh and from what we were told it is all made from scratch. The owner served us and cooked the food. He was so sweet and made us feel very welcomed. Even the kofte kebabs are hand rolled and seasoned in the morning. I ordered the chicken plate, that came with salad and rice. This was a good choice for a fresh hot lunch on the go. The hot tea and baklava was a nice finish. About $10 price point for a lunch plate that is filling. Oh and I did try their version of the carrot dip, sorry forgot the name of it but that was delicious if you like yogurt type dips! It came with hot fresh pita bread and had a hint of garlic in it. I popped in right before close at lunch. This spot is Randomly off the side of a gas station. The owner was there making food in this adorable clearly self decorated space. It had a cozy feel that made you feel at home. I ordered the combination platter which was recommended. The food was incredible! Chicken and gyro were extremely fresh, well seasoned and light. The best item I tried were the meatballs! I honestly paused after trying these just to savor them. I wasn't expecting them to be so good. These are probably the best meatballs in town! Such Genuine service, I can't wait to go back! I've added to place to my must visit list for friends and family when they come to town. read more

We do not live in Austin, found Troy ATX online and decided to give it a try. I was thrown off when I pulled into the parking lot that the restaurant shares with a Circle K! But I'm glad we parked and went inside. Very laid back atmosphere. Not a lot of seating. Service was good. Food was incredible! I suggest the Iskender Kabob. Even if you are unsure...try it anyway. The homemade hummus as an appetizer was also great. I will go back when I have a chance! read more

Checked this place out for lunch because I'm a fan of Turkish food and have been on a quest for patlijan since eating it in Istanbul (disclaimer: this place doesn't have any). We got the havuc tarama, the beef doner salad, and the beef doner wrap. The havuc tarama was good, kinda like a hummus dip, but with carrots, sour cream, walnuts, and lots of garlic. The bread they served it with wasn't pita though they called it that, more of a chewy fluffy naan (it was good, just wouldn't call it pita bread). My salad was simple and tasty, but the beef doner meat was kinda questionable (processed and not really well-spiced). The wrap didn't come with much, just bread with the same meat and no side or anything. The place itself is pretty cute, but could be improved with (1) Turkish music, (2) fries with the wrap, and (3) PATLIJANNNN. read more

Even when foot traffic picked up while we were there, the food was replenished quickly and didn't look picked over. Now let's talk food...Everything tastes fresh, well-seasoned, and like it was made with care instead of just being "buffet food" an under seasoned. The variety is also amazing, and it's easy to build a plate for pretty much any type of diet whether you're keto, high protein, balanced, veggie-forward, vegan, etc... As far as protein goes, I actually really like the fish here, so I almost never eat the meat and still leave satisfied. It usually feels like a healthy pescatarian day for me, which I like. Then there's my mom, who just loves the abundance and variety of a buffet. She's happiest when she can sample a little bit of everything, build plates with lots of small bites, and then go back for more. Demassi's is perfect for that. On top of all of this, it's very reasonably priced, especially for lunch or on weeknights. It's always clean, the staff is consistently courteous, and they are really on top of bussing tables, which matters a lot to me at a buffet. Dirty dishes piling up are never an issue here. Overall, it's a solid, reliable spot for us and a place we're always happy to suggest when we're trying to please multiple people with different tastes.

We spent around $600 with tip and fees for 5 (mixed grill, two apps, two drinks each); and while the food was delicious the meats were luke warm not piping hot, our server while very friendly was not the best at giving suggestions (basically she said everything is good lol) and wasn't able to split the check 2/3 and 1/3 instead of 50/50 ("... I don't know how to do that"), and the cocktails while tasty didn't really feel special enough to be $21-25 each. It was a very enjoyable experience I just don't know that it lived up to the price tag. For that price I'm looking for exceptional not just very good. That being said the food was delicious! Pricey but pretty good portions. The server said the mixed grill was good for around 4 people, but with two apps it was actually a little too much food for the 5 of us. Mixed grill ($220): -Rosewood Wagyu Strip and Lamb Chops: tie between these two for the best dish; they were both juicy and tender and the sauces were delicious. We tried: Spanish G&T (very refreshing- don't chew on the juniper berries lol), Banana Bread Old Fashioned (pretty good even for someone who doesn't much like whiskey!), Bonfire on a Beach (fun, smokey, love the harissa on the side), Peach Martini (teensy bit sweet for me but good). The manager stopped by a few times to check on us and our server was very attentive. She did give us good service its just for the high price I would expect some more detailed suggestions on drinks, being able to split the check other than 50/50 (or at least ask someone instead of just saying 'I don't know how'). It was friendly and enthusiastic service just not 'wow this truly is fine dining' service. Outside of the restaurant, parking is a bit of a pain but that is normal for down town. We parked at the Laz garage half a block away- $8 for 2 hrs instead of the $27 for valet.

The hummus was so good. I love the pepper oil on top that gives it a little kick. It comes with pita bread but if you order more, it's an extra $3. We also got croquetas (ham and cheese fritters). There are four of them and they are sooo delicious!! This is a must get especially if you love warm and creamy stuff. The outside is nicely fried and if you never had it, it's similar to Japanese takoyaki. Although I love it a lot, the portion was just right for sharing because it really fills you up. We also got the potatoes (nice, but nothing that blew my mind) and chicken empanadas that I thought had a strange, sour taste. I wouldn't get that again. I highly recommend getting different tapas instead of the main courses so you can try different things. We were completely satisfied with the meal after getting these but still made room for the orange almond cake!! This was extraordinarily good!! Not too sweet and the cake has a nice moist texture-not dry. It took a while for food to arrive so service was a bit slow. You can also sit outside if you want but we sat indoors since it was chilly. It's a smaller restaurant so it's nice for an intimate meal or date. They have a bar. There's parking in the back, which is where the entrance is. Btw, this is also on inKind so I got to claim $25 off $50.

I loved the shaved cheese, so fluffy with the greens and the crunch from the hazelnut bits. The nasu katsu bao was delicious and gone in a second. Great soft bun with yummy filling. The origiri was yummy too. Very different from what I'm used to with origiri but in a fun and delectable way. Loved the crunchy fried outside and the texture of the rice inside. The etouffee was rich and savory with what i believe was their rotating protein of the week. Can't really go wrong with red beans and rice, these are like an upgraded popeyes version. To end the meal we tried their beignets which weren't stellar but reminded me more of a fried donut with some powdered sugar sprinkled on top. I'd come back but maybe not get so much food since we both definitely left stuffed!

We had an incredible dining experience at Troy ATX! From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. We ordered a spread of dishes including hummus, acuka, dolma, Iskender kebab, Turkish beef meatballs, doner, and baklava. Every single plate was outstanding - fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The Iskender kebab in particular was exceptional, perfectly tender with rich, savory sauce, and the brown butter topping was excellent. The hummus and acuka were some of the best we've had in Austin. The dolma had that perfect balance of rice, herbs, and tanginess, while the meat dishes were cooked to perfection. And of course, the baklava was the perfect sweet finish - flaky, nutty, and delicious. We loved the fact that it was all made fresh and in house. The service was wonderful as well. Our server was incredibly honest, thoughtful, and attentive, which made the whole experience feel even more enjoyable. It's rare to find service that feels both warm and genuine, and Troy ATX really delivers on that front. The atmosphere is relaxed, casual, and very homey - the kind of place where you feel comfortable lingering over your meal with good company. We'll absolutely be back again soon. I am so glad to find this place.I've been to Turkey years ago and which makes me happy because the food is so delicious just like i remember. It was just a conincidence while i was getting gas for my car.. i saw wooden horse head on top of the restaurant and wondered what this place is.. I found out it's a new restaurant..they still do not have printed menu but it's easy to understand what they have when looked at the black board..Place is neither big nor small.. They have Doner Kebab and Chicken Kebab and something i can not remember now..I got doner kebab and salad..Doner Kebab was tasty but especialy the Kisir Salad was delicious..i am not a vegetarian but i can eat it everyday...and Turkish coffee which they gave it free..also while i am waiting i tested some rice which was realy spicy but nice too.. As i mentioned above there is a gas station in front of the restaurant.. Anyway i think i will visit that place more..i would go everyday just the place is little bit far for me.. read more

I went to this restaurant for the sixth time last week. The staff is so kind and warm to every single customer. The food most importantly is delicious and they really work hard on the meal. There hasn't been one single time where I left disappointed. Their kefta kabob, beef doner, lamb, turkish style grilled chicken is amazing. Also, their mix plate is AMAZING. I love their turkish yogurt beverage it is amazing too. This people have never disappointed me and you should definitely try out their place. Everyone in the establishment not only gives you excellent customer service but tops it off with great food. Thank you for always giving me great food and great customer service. read more

From the moment I walked through the door, I felt genuinely welcomed. The warm atmosphere and friendly service immediately set the tone for a great dining experience. The Turkish-style menu offered a wide variety of dishes -- everything from flavorful appetizers to beautifully presented main courses. I decided on the Gyro Plate, and it was absolutely delicious -- tender, perfectly seasoned, and served with fresh sides that complemented it perfectly. It's rare to find a family-owned restaurant that combines authentic flavors, attentive service, and such a comfortable environment. I love this place! The food is amazing. They are so helpful when choosing what to eat. Everything is fresh, hot and delicious. Also healthy. The service is even better! The employees are eager to please and always bring back more of their amazing tea. They don't seem annoyed to be serving customers, like you may see at other restaurants. The owner is so fun. He had a group of our friends out to karaoke. He even brought a DJ in from out of town! The owner sang for us, rapped for us, and taught us how to dance. I was so excited to learn there is a fresh Turkish restaurant in North Austin. And the best part is, the location is awesome. The whole staff is super fine and took the time to spell out the menu to my pals as well as me. They brought us out some samples before we purchased, and some Turkish tea. We were a party of 7, and we ended up sharing a whole lot of distinct food collectively. Everything I ate was utterly delightful, but my favorite by far was the steak iskender. I'll definitely be going back for that and the Turkish coffee! read more

My daughter and I ate here today and the food was delicious. We lived in Turkey for a couple of years and really enjoyed the food. This place took us back. The Dolmades were so delicious. I devoured them My daughter usually can't eat alot but she finished her entire plate. The food is authentic and fresh. I don't live in Texas but my daughter does and she said this is her new favorite restaurant. They will be seeing more of her I'm sure. I highly recommend. read more

Really friendly family owned eatery. Looks like pretty genuine Turkish setting and food. And quite yummy also. The steak iskender is particularly tasty. And they've bona fide Turkish coffee. Only position for just a little enhancement was they appear to be getting their table service system down (they're just 3 months old as I wrote this review). I am a Turkish-American born and raised in the U.S. by a Turkish mother. I can tell you this place is the real deal! Authentic, so darn good and charming. The owner/operator is very attentive, very personable and is eager to share his family recipes with patrons. Not sure what to order, just ask him and you will get a culinary delight!
