Thursday night dinner reservation for 6:45. They provide complimentary parking in the garage behind and getting here was fun. This isn't easy to see from the road so I passed by initially and had to U-turn. Easy parking in the garage behind and the steps lead directly to the front of the restaurant. The pizza oven with the fresh pita is right up front so you get a love welcoming smell. The patio looked amazing and sorta wish it wasn't so dang hot to sit and enjoy it. Initially had a table but sat at the bar instead. The team was attentive and overall very pleasant. Started with the wood fired fresh pita with a mustard honey butter (to die for...sooo yummy), and got the artichoke and goat cheese spread which was def artichoke forward, not my favorite item. And the braised lamb shank for main entree. Here's where I really need to ask questions/google stuff. Wasn't sure what the 'moorish spice hi' was and should have asked. The flavor was very strong and a bit overwhelming. When I searched I think the issue was the coriander which is also known for its leaves aka cilantro. Barf The lamb was cooked well, fall off the bone and polenta also good w/o the sauce. Overall good experience and I'd go back, especially in the fall to sit on the patio.

What a let down. Lots of excitement around this place on Instagram, but the place did not live up to the hype on Father's Day. We ordered a number of dishes (octopus, pita, halibut, scallops, etc.) which were heavily sauced, but overall really good. The date old-fashioned & Smoke House were balanced. The front of the house is where they could use a lot of work. The handful of interactions we had were dismal. It was shocking. On top of the service there so many flies surrounding our table inside.

Came on a Saturday for brunch; reservation was easy to make on Resy with a lot of availability still as I think this is still a pretty new restaurant. The location is right off Barton springs where the old Austin eastciders was. The garage is free for patrons so easy to get to and access. Ambiance inside is really nice, bohemian tropical / Greek island interior. Service is solid and the overall place is great for a nicer time out with friends. Dishes are portioned for sharing which is great since there are such a variety of options and flavors. We ordered the Oria Labneh (10/10) and Lamb Kefta (10/10) along with some pita. Left feeling satisfied enough but not stuffed. Expect a higher price point overall but a good time overall if you're willing to pay up a little.

Beautiful venue, okay service. My husband and I came on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. The restaurant is vibey, with a boho theme patio. Indoor seating is decorated with plants and gold accents. We ordered a hummus, shashuka, a burger and frozen yogurt to share. The burger was very under done and the frozen yogurt was more like vanilla ice cream. They gave us a new burger, but it was strange it was very under cooked before. Overall I would come for the vibes but maybe not the food

Stunning new Middle Eastern restaurant in South Austin! Breathtaking patio with Demi covered seating, beautifully designed, a total vibe. Definitely sit outside if you can / weather permits! They even have mist fans going to provide relief on hot summer days. Once seated we ordered a few appetizers to share. Please note that this restaurant has no vegetarian main dishes at all. They said that they are working on this, but as of now not very vegetarian friendly. 1. Sourdough Pita - 10/10. Epic flavor served with a unique smoked mustard seed honey butter spread that complemented it beautifully. 2. Artichoke & goat cheese spread - 6/10. Not my favorite menu item. I'd recommend trying a different spread. 3. Scorched corn - 5/10. Not flavorful and corn was undercooked. 4. Glazed carrots and feta - 9/10, very delicious! The best part of the meal was the Greek frozen yogurt with honeycomb topping. Absolutely loved it! Worth a visit for the ambiance and excellent service. Just know that food can be a hit or miss, so read reviews and select carefully!

Beautiful restaurant with delicious mediterranean fare. We had the hummus, the octopus, the ceviche, a tuna tostada and the naan. Sooooo good and the service was also excellent! So excited to take my whole family there tomorrow night!

Oria was nice, but not a standout among the many elevated Mediterranean concepts in Austin. Most dishes were very good, but nothing really stood out as excellent, and certain ones were a bit lacking. Our favorites were the roasted artichoke and goat cheese, the sourdough pita, and the basque cheesecake. But some of the other dishes, even those highlighted in the menu, were a bit lacking. The fire roasted sea bass for example was more bone than fish, and not very flavorful. But my biggest criticism is probably portion size: after 9 dishes plus drinks split between 6 people, I left a bit hungry! Even their "medium" and main plates are not very large. I have to give them credit for the wonderful job they did with the decor and exterior of the restaurant- I've visited 3 different restaurants in this same location over the last 5 years and Oria has made the space its own. It's a nice spot for a nice dinner, just not the best dinner you'll ever have!

For our last night in Austin, we had dinner at Oria. It's a new Mediterranean restaurant. It feels like we walked into like a Mediterranean garden. The patio and dining area was so beautiful. Every dish we got was so tasty. My favorite was the fire roasted whole sea bass! It was so tender and flavorful. We also got the wood fire sour dough pita. They sell it individually though so we just split it for us to try. And they have just regular soft pita with the other sides. We also had the tuna tartare, hummus, olives, and agean prawns. We literally devoured it all so fast, it was so quiet while we were eating lol. For entrees we got the sea bass, seared scallops, butcher steak and chicken skewer. There wasn't much scallops in the plate it was more pork belly which was pretty good. Butcher steak was tender. The chicken skewer wasn't my favorite. It was dry and lacked flavor. The drinks were so yummy! I got the garden gimlet and it was so good I got 2 orders After our meal we ordered the dark chocolate mousse and basque cheesecake. Both were very delicious! Not too sweet! We were celebrating my friends bday too and they gave her sorbet with candles which was super cute! Overall this restaurant was def worth it. The ambiance and food were great! Our waitress was amazing. Rebeca was so attentive and kind. She was so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The patio area was so cute but the weather was not it so I'm glad we got an inside seat! The inside is just as beautiful! But def make a reservation and check out this new restaurant!

Oria on Barton Springs Road was such a beautiful surprise. The atmosphere is lush, horticultural, and effortlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces into what feels like a modern garden retreat. Every detail feels thoughtfully curated -- warm, stylish, and relaxing all at once. The appetizers alone completely satisfied us. Everything felt fresh, elevated, and perfect for sharing during happy hour. The wood-fire oven baked brie was incredible, and the entire menu had such a unique Mediterranean-inspired feel. Pair that with creative cocktails and a gorgeous ambiance, and it easily became one of my favorite spots in Austin for a relaxed evening out.

We had an early dinner at Oria on Sunday evening. We got there a bit early but they were able to seat us while we waited for the third in our party. The patio is beautiful and we were seated at a table at the second level of the patio. It was beautifully decorated inside and out. I wasn't feeling up to par so I took just a few bites of each items we ordered and the two others in our party ate the rest. We had very little left after ordering several items. Everything was tasty and well presented. Because one of my friends is gluten free we had some confusion on a couple of orders but everything turned out well. A huge plus was free parking in the garage behind the restaurant so we didn't have to circle forever, but that could have also been because we were there early on a Sunday. ;-) We also ordered cocktails and a mocktail. The mezcal drink was lovely and they modified mine to bring syrup on the side since I minimize sugar/sweets. That said, the cheesecake was delicious and was one of the rare gluten free cheesecakes so my gluten free friend was able to eat it when she normally can't order cheesecakes! I look forward to going back here again when I can eat bigger portions of the items.

Pretty happy with this place. New restaurants are always so hit or miss in ATX. Great service and good food. Artichoke and goat cheese is awesome! Get the charred pita - it's significantly denser than the regular pita and makes for a great dipper. Charred octopus is really good. Papas bravas on the side are as well. I really liked the lamb kefta as well. Great flavor and perfectly cooked. Reservations are highly recommended.

We stopped in to Oria to check out the vibe. What a beautiful spot with relaxing outdoor seating and indoor dining and bar. It looks like they will eventually have an outdoor bar open as well. The staff were all very friendly and the bartenders were nice and gave recommendations. I had a very refreshing golden hour spritz and we tried the smokehouse with Mezcal. Both drinks were fabulous. We wanted a little snack, but we missed happy hour sadly. This time we tried their himachi. I thought it was pretty good, but it needed something like a chip to eat it with. We definitely will be coming back to try their happy hour and sit on their beautiful patio in the evening time!

Headed their food a ladies night out during the week. Traffic was insane!! Parking in the lot behind the building was super tight. Lots of cars parked in areas that wasn't for parking. Los of spots, but most was filled. Ambiance of Oria is great. Service was friendly. The food was delicious!! The start of the night was the honey carrots. More please! Can't wait to go back and try more.

We had a reservation and the host sat us down immediately and was so friendly. Our server was there right away. Her service was just perfect ... friendly and not over the top. She was knowledgeable about the dishes and gave us suggestions. We had a mockingbird mocktail and my son a soda. The drink was perfect. We ordered the whipped feta, falafel and beef Lamb kefta. Everything came out really quickly. The falafel was absolutely delicious. The whipped feta was a hit with my son. The kefta was a little disappointing. A little bland and dry. I ordered the pannacotta my son the chocolate chocolate cake. I absolutely loved mine with the sorbet on top. My son loved his cake. Atmosphere wise the restaurant is beautiful and cozy and grand but the only complaint would be the music was too loud and it was hard to hold a conversation. The waitress didn't come by to refill our waters, I had to ask the staff. And then we were sitting around for about 30 minutes to ask for boxes, and even the check. Then, to get drinks or even the order was a problem. It took so much longer than usual. Our waitress was rude, and seemed bothered that we showed up. Then someone else came as the waitress and she was preoccupied with other tables and barely checked on us. A regular lunch which would've been one hour became almost two because of the lack of service. My friend had to stand and look for someone to give us a box to take out the good we couldn't eat because it was getting late and also to get the check because No one came in to check on us at all. The staff keeps the dining area and buffet line consistently stocked and clean. They even provide hand sanitizer and gloves for you. Even when foot traffic picked up while we were there, the food was replenished quickly and didn't look picked over. Now let's talk food...Everything tastes fresh, well-seasoned, and like it was made with care instead of just being "buffet food" an under seasoned. The variety is also amazing, and it's easy to build a plate for pretty much any type of diet whether you're keto, high protein, balanced, veggie-forward, vegan, etc... Some of our favorite dishes we keep coming back for: Shredded beef (SO good), Baked fish (tender and not fishy), Garlic baked chicken (wonderful crispy skin), Fried chicken, Baked kafta, Kafta kebab, Gyro meat, Roasted cauliflower, Eggplant, Greek salad, Fatoush, Kale Caesar salad, Zaatar pizza, Cheese pizza (pro tip: top it with shredded beef- a life changing buffet hack), Rice with lentils, Rice with mixed veggies. For the quality, variety and amount of food you get, this is easily one of the best deals in the city! It's rare to find a buffet that's both affordable and consistently this good! If I had one small wish, it would be for desserts to match how strong the rest of the food is. They're not bad, just a little more "fine" compared to how amazing everything else is. I've seen another Dimassi's (I think in Cali) that had a frozen yogurt machine and I'd LOVE to see that here because it would be the perfect finish! Make a cup and then crumble up some baklava on it! Overall we've LOVED it here and we'll absolutely keep coming back! Great food, clean, consistent, and worth it every time!

One of the first things you notice when you walk in is the eye symbol displayed throughout the restaurant. According to the staff, it's meant to bring positive energy, and honestly, the vibe starts working immediately. As first-time Ezov diners, we were completely captivated by the décor. From the beautiful oversized colorful lanterns to the vibrant graffiti art (which also extends to the exterior of the building) and sleek modern furnishings. The space felt both stylish and inviting. We instantly slipped into relaxation mode. Ezov's menu features Mediterranean-inspired dishes designed for sharing, so we selected three items: the Whipped Bulgarian Feta, Lamb + Beef Manti, and Grilled Branzino. Let me start by saying I don't recall ever having whipped Bulgarian feta before, and it was a delightful surprise. Smooth, creamy, and packed with flavor, the combination of honey and hazelnuts elevated the dish even further. The Lamb + Beef Manti was the standout of the evening and easily my favorite dish. It was an incredible explosion of flavors and textures...a thin, crispy flatbread layered with rich tomato ragu, tangy yogurt sauce, and chili oil. Every bite was absolutely delicious. If I could have ordered a second round, I probably would have. The Grilled Branzino, served with peas, kale, and peppers, was also enjoyable. To be fair, the kale was a bit coarse for my taste, but my friend happily took care of most of it. James, our server, was fantastic. He guided us through the menu, offered helpful recommendations, and checked on us at all the right times without being intrusive. While the shareable plates are on the pricier side, sometimes it's worth treating yourself to a memorable dining experience. Between the flavorful Mediterranean cuisine, the energetic atmosphere, and the opportunity to reconnect with a dear friend, our evening at Ezov was well worth the splurge.

We spent around $600 with tip and fees for 5 (mixed grill, two apps, two drinks each); and while the food was delicious the meats were luke warm not piping hot, our server while very friendly was not the best at giving suggestions (basically she said everything is good lol) and wasn't able to split the check 2/3 and 1/3 instead of 50/50 ("... I don't know how to do that"), and the cocktails while tasty didn't really feel special enough to be $21-25 each. It was a very enjoyable experience I just don't know that it lived up to the price tag. For that price I'm looking for exceptional not just very good. That being said the food was delicious! Pricey but pretty good portions. The server said the mixed grill was good for around 4 people, but with two apps it was actually a little too much food for the 5 of us. Mixed grill ($220): -Rosewood Wagyu Strip and Lamb Chops: tie between these two for the best dish; they were both juicy and tender and the sauces were delicious. Not served piping hot but they were so good I didn't really mind. -Harissa Marinated Beef Tenderloin: great flavor- a tad dry. -Spiced Lamb Kefta: also dry, I liked it best with the yogurt sauce. -Red Pepper Chicken Thigh: delicious, one of my fav kabobs. -Herb & Garlic Shrimp: tasty and not overcooked -Charred King Trumpet mushroom: loved the veggie option! they mushrooms were substantial and the sauce was great. -Crispy Shallot Hummus: very good- loved the crispy shallots in particular! -Manti Dumplings: top app- I would 100% order this again the dumplings were delicious and the sauce/yogurt on top of them was the best, we wiped up every drop with the pitas! -The pita bread was hot, fresh, and delicious and our service kept on offering more, so I don't know if they've changed their policy but my experience was not the same as reviews that said only one pita per person. We refused extra pitas 3 times I think! Cocktails- everything we tried was quite good, but again there wasn't the pizaz or just 'blown away by the flavor' to feel that the crazy price was totally justified. We tried: Spanish G&T (very refreshing- don't chew on the juniper berries lol), Banana Bread Old Fashioned (pretty good even for someone who doesn't much like whiskey!), Bonfire on a Beach (fun, smokey, love the harissa on the side), Peach Martini (teensy bit sweet for me but good). The manager stopped by a few times to check on us and our server was very attentive. She did give us good service its just for the high price I would expect some more detailed suggestions on drinks, being able to split the check other than 50/50 (or at least ask someone instead of just saying 'I don't know how'). It was friendly and enthusiastic service just not 'wow this truly is fine dining' service. Outside of the restaurant, parking is a bit of a pain but that is normal for down town. We parked at the Laz garage half a block away- $8 for 2 hrs instead of the $27 for valet.

Mezze Café has quickly become one of my favorite places in Austin. From the moment you walk in,…read moreyou're welcomed with genuine hospitality that makes you feel like more than just another customer. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfect whether you're stopping in for dinner, hookah, or a relaxing evening with friends. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Everything we ordered tasted authentic, the portions were generous, and the hookah was smooth, long-lasting, and expertly prepared. What truly sets Mezze Café apart is the people. The owners have clearly built a business around quality, hospitality, and taking care of their guests. The manager does an outstanding job making sure everyone feels welcomed and that every detail is taken care of. You can tell the entire team genuinely cares about the customer experience, and it shows in every interaction. It's rare to find a place that delivers exceptional food, outstanding service, and such a welcoming atmosphere all in one. I highly recommend Mezze Café to anyone looking for authentic Mediterranean cuisine, excellent hookah, and a team that truly values its customers. I'll definitely be back!

I gave 4 stars to give them the benefit of the doubt, but my actual experience felt closer to 2…read morestars. The main problem was the noise. The acoustics were very bad. The hardwood ceiling and the glass window in front of me seemed to amplify sound from every direction. I was with a group of six men, and none of us could hear each other. As the noise increased, every table seemed to raise its volume just to communicate, and it became painful. The food had a BBQ flavor, which was different for Mexican food. Some people may like that, but it was not what I expected. It was 4 star food. I think sitting outside would probably be much better.

I met some friends for an early dinner at Gracia Mediterranean this past weekend. Since we were…read morethere early, the place was pretty empty so we were seated at a nice booth/table near the bar. Our server gave us great suggestions and helped us make yummy choices. My friends had mocktails and I had the beet cocktail with alcohol. My friends forgot I like to take photos for my reviews so some of the photos of the items we ordered we started eating before I took them so they show as half eaten in the photos I shared (haha)...must have been good! I was also happy to discover they are on the InKind app so I was able to use some credits I had available to help pay the bill. I look forward to going back again to try more items!

They have happy hour 5-6 pm and we got the hummus half off! The hummus was so good. I love the pepper oil on top that gives it a little kick. It comes with pita bread but if you order more, it's an extra $3. We also got croquetas (ham and cheese fritters). There are four of them and they are sooo delicious!! This is a must get especially if you love warm and creamy stuff. The outside is nicely fried and if you never had it, it's similar to Japanese takoyaki. Although I love it a lot, the portion was just right for sharing because it really fills you up. We also got the potatoes (nice, but nothing that blew my mind) and chicken empanadas that I thought had a strange, sour taste. I wouldn't get that again. I highly recommend getting different tapas instead of the main courses so you can try different things. We were completely satisfied with the meal after getting these but still made room for the orange almond cake!! This was extraordinarily good!! Not too sweet and the cake has a nice moist texture-not dry. It took a while for food to arrive so service was a bit slow. You can also sit outside if you want but we sat indoors since it was chilly. It's a smaller restaurant so it's nice for an intimate meal or date. They have a bar. There's parking in the back, which is where the entrance is. Btw, this is also on inKind so I got to claim $25 off $50.
