Nice little store, we stopped there in Saturday afternoon. They have a nice selection of jams, jellies, spices, coffee, cheese and other food related items. The store is clean and well organized, with shelves full of goodies. Prices seemed very reasonable. There was a steady stream of customers that were coming and going through the doors. The one thing that could improve would be the tall young man working the cash register. I said "Hi" when I set my items on the counter to be rung up, and he did not respond, then when I paid him cash and received my change I said "Thank You", and again received no response. It doesn't cost anything extra to be nice, and maybe show a little appreciation to people that choose your establishment to spend their money at. Cash is preferred there, and according to a sign by the register, there is 3% added if you use a credit card. read more

This is a great store. They've got so many terrific homemade products here, all reasonably or cheaply priced! They have several variations of homemade cheese curds, lots of baked desserts, breads, pies, and pastries, as well as many jams, sauces, delicious meats and even flours and soup kits. This location will bring you to beautiful central New York farm country and that alone is truly special. The view from the store looking over the farmland is quite special. Anytime we are in the area we will make a special trip here for sure. Pro tip, don't pass up their homemade donuts. They definitely do not dissapoint! read more

I will start this as I always do by saying that I don't give out five stars unless I am really blown away. I am really tempted to give this store five stars but I am going to hold back for now. I may come back and add the other star. I would call it four and a half stars. This is an Amish store out in the country that you would never know about unless you have been told about it by someone else. My family has been going here for years and always talk about how wonderful it is. They always bring back delicious baked goods that you shouldn't eat but can't stop yourself from eating. They have some cinnamon rolls that are out of this world. Unfortunately (but fortunate for my waistline) my first trip here it was not a baking day. I think they bake on Thursday and Friday. The store is full of seasonings, deli meats, dry soup mix's and many other items that you can use for cooking and snacking. The deli meats are the best around. This was the reason I wanted to stop other than the baked goods. I don't go to a lot of deli's to buy cold cuts but everyone I am near here I am going to stop. Had a turkey sandwich for lunch and had to stop myself from eating a second. We bought some seasonings that were priced better than any store I have been into. I will be going back to get my seasonings from here from now on. The dried soup mixes are delicious as well. My fiancé's mom has been buying them for us for years. My fiancé could eat soup on a 110 degree summer day on the equator. So to say we eat a lot of soup would be an understatement. These mixes are quick and delicious. I always add fresh ingredients when I make them but you don't need to. I would urge anyone that has a free day to take a little trip out to Troyer's country store. Especially if you like to cook or just want some delicious baked goods. read more

The lunch meat is delicious! It doesn't appear to be loaded with sodium, it's half the price as the store and it taste much better!! They have so many foods you don't find at the typical store, it's my favorite place to get lunch meat , cheese curds ( many flavors), fresh bread and snacks!! This was my first Amish store experience so I don't know how they all compare. I just came here to check it out but left with two bags of goodies. Some were things that I haven't seen anywhere else and some were repackaged bulk items that you can get at most supermarkets. One of the items I tried were the Jake and Amos Lime Pickles. Now I'm not sure if if they are called that for the color or the flavor because they were a lime color and maybe the sourness is relative to a lime flavor, but they were closer to "bread and butter" pickles. We also got Pepperoni thinly sliced from a large round. I really really doubt that's Amish, but it seems they are catering to the locals with that one. If I was stocking up my fridge I would definitely come back and take advantage of all the Organic Meats in the freezer section. Prices seemed comparable to other organic butchers. My whole is experience was wonderful. This store is located right on the highway in the middle of the farm. The view is spectacular. The Amish maiden managing the store in her cute bonnet was very helpful. And they really don't use electricity but gas. read more

This is the best in the area! Their care when making their baked goods shows. I always pick up their fresh baked breads and chocolate chip granola bars. Everything is all natural. Used to love this store. Especially for herbs, spices and deli meats. Did not feel safe there today. A sign on the door said that the owner did not wear a mask due to a heart condition, but once I was shopping I noticed that none of the employees were wearing masks. My husband and I love going to this store. The people who work there are kind and genuine. The store is very clean. The prices extremely reasonable in comparison to co-op prices in Vt. If there was a store like this in Vt, I would LOVE it!!! When we come to Cazanovia to visit family, we stop on our way in, and our way out of town.
