Off the line, I will definitely say if you are doing a complete disservice to your car if you do not get your car aligned by this shop! I drive a 2006 Volvo V70R and I barely left the parking lot and noticed a huge handling difference already. People may say Les Schwab, Sears or the dealer do a good and you don't need to spend anymore but that is like saying the massage chair in the mall you pay 25 cents for is as good as a professional licensed massage therapist. And if you've got a high performance car, its worth at least trying once. The customer service is pretty good too. That's how impressive the alignment jobs are, I completely forgot about the good customer service. Try it! read more

Plenty of others have provided the detail here, and I'll just add my "harrumph!" of solid agreement to what's already been said. I didn't meet Byron on my day at the shop, where I'd had two tires from Tire Rack shipped for installation, but Pete did masterful job of inspecting the old tires for wear patterns, interviewing me about my driving style, weight (yes, it _does_ matter, especially in a 2-seater) and typical load, and any "medical history" with the car's setup. I swear the car (a Tesla Roadster) tracks better now and feels "freer" in both acceleration and deceleration, probably due to reining the rear camber back in from some nutty negative settings. One other thing: I was in a rush to get to a meeting, and Pete offered to invoice me rather than make me wait for him to bang out a bill. THAT'S trusting, customer-first service. If you have a performance car, and you aren't already on a first-name basis with your dealership's alignment and track setup tech (see what I did there?), you really should give Byron and Pete a call. read more

One of my friends who drives sports cars recommended me to this shop. Initially I had a really bad shake throughout the car. I had taken the car to 3 different shops trying to resolve my issues. I paid True-Line to do a diagnostics of my car. Since it was still the winter they recommended me a few different things to do, and other things to hold off on. They told me to wait on the alignment until I got my summer tires back on. I am glad that I did because after everything was said and done all the shake was gone, and the car is now smooth on the freeway. I was surprised at their detailed questions such as my weight, driving style, and how often I drive with passengers. That gave me confidence in their attention to detail. I must say after everything was said and done they were able to fix all my problems. I just wish that they were able to do all automotive work. Granted that they are a bit more expensive than your big chain store, but they also spend that extra time to get your car done right the first time. I don't think I will deal with a chain store anymore since it only takes True-Line once to get it right. I only wish that this store was open later or even on the weekends. read more

Look, this place isn't the cheapest place in the area. If you want cheap, go to Tire Discounters or check CL for people to mount and balance your tires (which I did). However, at the end of the day, I wanted my tires mounted and balanced RIGHT and I wanted the alignment done RIGHT. I just didn't want to know that "it was done," but I wanted to know what was causing the alignment to be off, that forced me to buy new tires. I can't say enough good things about Byron. He was very responsive to phone calls (called me back even after hours). Called me post-inspection and also called me when my tires were done (and even a reminder call asking me if I forgot the car). He also saw one of the cables weren't plugged in correctly and actually took a picture of it for me. He fixed it for no charge. He also asked me what my weight was and the typical passenger's weight so he could align the tires correctly. He also wanted me to come back after 5K miles so he can re-test the alignment to make sure he fixed it correctly. Look if you want quality work done, just call up Byron. If you are concerned about the final product, this is the place to come. I bought a used 4runner with over 200k miles, and the previous owners had let a few things go. Byron diagnosed the steering shudder quickly, and was able to fix every shake that the car had from steering, to cruising, to braking. While Tru-Line may be more expensive than other places, the level of skill and care that Byron takes when working on my car was impressive. When I went in first, Byron started asking me about my driving style, where the weight was normally situated in the car, do I typically take passengers with, etc. I was a bit confused, but he reassured me that he uses this information to simulate the weight of the car to align in under normally loaded conditions. I ordered two sets of tires through TireRack.com and had Tru-Line do the alignment and mount and installs for both my cars. I read all the reviews for both their Seattle and Bellevue locations. They had almost all 5 star reviews. Here is one more, well earned, 5 star review. From the moment I emailed them. They were quick to respond. They were able to do both my cars in the promised amount of time, all in one day. Once the work was completed Byron carefully went over various charts of what the alignment looked like before the work was completed and what it was after the work was done. He went over correct tire inflation pressures that I should be aware of and also to come back every 5,000 miles just so they could check the tire patterns to ensure everything was in alignment. Prior to any work being done they asked for the weight of the primary driver and also passenger weights if they rode with you over 40% of the time. Talk about attention to detail! I took one of my cars to Canada this past week. The tracking and the way it drove was better than brand new! I love Tru-Line's professionalism, customer service and follow up. I had just recently purchased my 2000 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson edition and knew little about it's history. I wanted to add another review/update for Tru-Line. I recently hit a large rock in my brand new vehicle. It knocked out and bent the whole drivers side suspension and spindles. Tru-Line was quick to fit me in and gave a COMPLETE estimate. The insurance had me take the Jeep to another place nearby for their estimate. They missed several things that Byron caught on his first look. Byron and the staff patiently waited a week while the parts came in and once the parts where in Byron had it done in a day! It got even better when I picked up the vehicle. All the paperwork was nicely organized and placed in the vehicle, Including the receipts for the parts. They even threw in a sweet, high quality LED flashlight engraved with the Tru Line logo to keep in the glove box. These guys have great service and do quality work. I was having tire and wheel balance issues on a set of aftermarket wheels for my Audi. After taking it to the Audi dealer and a few of the chain places I still hadn't found anyone that could get my tires balanced. The other places either did a poor job or simply told me up front that they couldn't balance them correctly. They installed the new tires and did a fantastic job with the 4 wheel alignment, required for front wheel drive cars. My Honda CR-V is three years old and after the work performed by Tru-Line, it drove better than when new. If you want assembly line type work and service, go to a big named tire retailer for new tires. If you own an exotic or performance car, your needs would be best served at Tru-Line. Amazing! I had recently done a lot of brake and suspension work on my 74 MGB and needed to have the wheels aligned, and have my steering wheel centered. Calling around to other shops they either did not want to perform the work or I got the feeling my car was too old and they were not interested, because I would not drop the car off and leave it for the entire day. There aren't that many places i would trust to handle my Model S. And since i bought custom wheel set with winter tires, Tesla service center won't touch those. Tru line does my seasonal tire swap and alignments. They definitely know what they are doing! One thing to know is Tesla alignment of tires is off from the factory, so you would definitely want to do an alignment soon after you bought your car to avoid excessive tire wear. read more

My car was tugging to the side a bit. Brought it here, based on reviews. The reviews are right. Pete(?) discussed it with me when I dropped it off, and gave me a rough estimate. Later, when I came back, he described everything they found, including that the problem wasn't the alignment despite the alignment having been a bit off... apparently one tire was not completely symmetrical. They solved it by rotating it to a different position. All this, and still under the estimate. And the car drives wonderfully. Lovin' it. read more
