For as glossy and high end as they claim to be (i.e. not being able to work on older cars because of insurance liability), they sure operate like a scrappy hole in the wall. My battery was stolen while my car was behind lock and key in their lot, and when I spoke with them about it, they apologized profusely but said they were not liable. I asked if they had security cameras, they said no, and suggested perhaps someone had hopped the fence and stole it- which is curious to me, because I'd imagine hopping a fence with a car battery would be quite an undertaking. I personally suspect someone working there took the battery, perhaps assuming my car was totaled (it wasn't, but it looked rough). I am not making that accusation- only considering the possibility. read more

A repair shop is the kind of place you hope you never need to use, but I'm glad to have worked with them so I'll know who I can call if needed in the future. Unfortunately, I had two repairs that required their services in 2021 but I was really happy with their work and customer service both times. This past time was especially great - they provided frequent text updates, and my car was ready a few days ahead of schedule! They also didn't require me to leave my car with them while they waited for parts to come in, which allowed me to go without a rental car. read more

Do not waste your time taking your car here. Took over two months for a job that was quoted as three weeks. Was told they had all the parts and were ready to reassemble on the 27th of September, that day comes and magically they found a new part broken. Took them till October 24th to finally get it's done. Also the receptionist was rude to my wife when she went and picked up my car because I was in fort bliss training a national guard unit. Cherry on top was that we had baby seats in the car that these bozos didn't reinstall just put them on the seats to where it looked like it was so my kid fell over the first turn we made. This place was awful whatever you do find another shop. read more

My truck had the bed replaced. It was physically in the shop for 3 months. That was 6 months ago. I've yet to ever have a call returned to me. Even after I call and get the same lame answer, and a promise to return my call it never did happen. I finally got my truck without some of the required parts and after about 3 months I called them because of course they don't call you, they said the parts were in. I drove to the shop and low and behold the wrong parts were ordered and it was a drive for nothing. I forgot to mention when it was done the first time they painted it metallic white and the truck is pearl white. Very noticeable to me but not a trained body man. They repainted it at no cost. 4 more weeks... this time the back window was replaced and my decals were not replaced. Zero communication!!I called today to see if my stone guards were in and I got the standard , they were on back order and we will call you right back. Well I'm not holding my breath. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would . first off I understand parts are not easy to come by and it's not completely on them , but to weekly send text statements saying your parts WILL be here on this date and then they don't for over 2 months after waiting 3 months for them to come in !!!!! yeah I waited 3 months for them to come in and then was told they had to order them after they was already ordered y'all are jokers let me tell ya. THEN you call saying my car is ready two months later after I called the people from KIA sending the parts which were sent two days after I called hmmm fishy but ok and my car was PAINTED THE WRONG FLIPPING COLOR !!!! like seriously? and then to say well we will put you in a new rental and have it for you in a couple days .... um no yall should of had it done right THE FIRST time tf I look like trusting you to do it again hell it might be purple next time smh . SO whatever you do DO NOT take your car here expecting it to come back looking like you left it either cuz I took it to the carwash before dropping it off and it was so greasy on my rims I made them clean it before I pulled off the lot ! they have ZERO respect for peoples cars OHHHHH and for a car that had tail end damage that HAD TO come in with a full tank of gas why y'all leave me with a half a tank though ???? When I entered the reception area, the very pleasant receptionist informed me that the shop manager would not be in until 9:30 (appt was for 8AM), and that she was to take photos of the car; they'd get back to me. She said that the manager has decided that he'll be coming in at 9:30 every day (shop opens at 8AM--per the sign.) When I made the appointment, I noted that this was for an estimate on moderate damage from a front-end collision. This is no way to run a business.

We had been told by a couple people that my son's car needed a new starter - Will easily identified a battery terminal issue after a quick diagnostic. Within a couple minutes, Will knew what the issue was, and we were able to go down to the auto parts store and purchase everything we needed for under $20. He was able to get the car running in less than an hour and went above and beyond to make modifications to one part I bought (battery bracket) because the store didn't have the exact type we needed. Will's work was pristine. I cannot say enough about how great of an experience this was. He is also very kind and pleasant! Additionally, I would like to note that he performed all repairs that were requested, he arrived within 25 minutes of my call, on a Sunday, in the snow, and had everything done within an hour (part of this hour was him waiting on my trip to the auto parts store!). This will be the only person I call for any mechanic needs. I've shared his contact info with my family and recommend him to everyone! I've dealt with several mobile mechanics in the Indy area and can say Will is obviously and by far the most knowledgeable, honest, and gets straight to the resolution of the issue. Thank you so much, I feel better knowing my son's car is working -- and that he can call you if he runs into any other problems. :)

Overall, I was unsatisfied with my experience at Caliber Collision South. The customer service was subpar, primarily due to the lack of communication throughout the repair process. I was not provided with any updates on the status of my vehicle and had to call the shop numerous times for information. Each time, I was told my service advisor would return my call, but he never did. Because my calls were not being returned, my father had to visit the shop in person on my behalf to find out what was happening and why there had been no communication. While I understand that delays can occur, I was not notified that my vehicle would not be ready on the originally promised date. Instead, I had to repeatedly call to learn that my car was still not ready. At no point did I receive proactive updates via phone call or text regarding the delay. The most disappointing part of this experience was the condition of my vehicle upon return. Although the repair itself was completed satisfactorily, my glove compartment had been completely emptied, and all of its contents were left scattered on the passenger-side floor. This included paperwork, CDs, and other personal items. This is completely unacceptable. If the glove compartment needed to be accessed during the repair, the contents should have been returned to their original place rather than left in disarray. Overall, the lack of communication and disregard for my personal property significantly diminished my experience. I expected a higher level of professionalism and customer care. read more

My car was in a fender-bender and it always seems to be the worst time! The good news is the Caliber team had my back!! From making the process very smooth to coordinating with Enterprise, to just being kind in all the interactions -- I was thrilled! And my car looks great! a few names stand out: Patrick/Lisa in the front office made the check-in and check-out processes so easy and FUN! Jerry worked on vehicle and WOW! My hood looks like new! Nick put it back together and it all WORKS GREAT! Joe met me at drop off and made me feel so comfortable about what to expect Lisa also helped connect me to Joe at Enterprise and He was a an angel! he made sure I got a car as quickly as I could! Matt is the General Manager and he's clearly got a great team! Brandon is a damage appraiser in the back and I appreciate his help! I was in a car accident where a guy reversed his truck ata red light and slammed into the front of my car I went to Caliber Collision the staff greeted me with kindness and took care of me and and my car they told me it would be a week but it was only 6 days I got my car back and they did an excellent job on my car Paul did pictures and the estimate and today I picked it up he walked me thru everything they had to do to it.
