I had a great experience here with my son on our "date day." The nail technicians were friendly and accommodating and they even gave me a frequent customer punch card for a free pedi on the 10th visit. The owner spoke great English, which I appreciate because I have had too many instances of not getting what I asked for due to a language gap. We also enjoyed petting Coco, who is the store watch dog. My only negative comment is about what they had on the tv. I wish they had something desirable to watch rather than old tv shows. First time going to True Bella, I made a appointment for 5pm and wasn't greeted right away but did not have to wait too long. I went for a facial, under chin sculpting and gel manicure. All three were done well and in an hour and 30mins. The facial and under chin sculpting was relaxing but the I did not like the smell of the hot towels. Do not waste your time or money. I bought a Groupon for a plain pedicure because I recently moved to the area and am looking for a good nail salon near me. The Groupon was $36 and I ended up giving a $5 tip (which I really shouldn't have...). To start off, you can tell by just looking that the place isn't very clean. I'm not even sure if they disinfect their tools since after my pedicure was over, I saw one of the techs just wipe it off with a paper towel then use it on another customer! I was baffled. To make matters worse, (what seems to be) the owner brings her dog inside and lets it roam around free, which usually I don't mind cause I love dogs but this one growls at customers and even threw up right by me! She still didn't put the dog in a room in the back or something..... I could have looked past some of this since the lady who did my pedicure was nice and did a good massage, but then the owner came to paint my nails and it looks like a little kid did it in the dark, polish all over my skin. She rushed me out and put my sandals on for me, only to find that it was coming off on my shoes in the parking lot, the polish wasn't dry! So I had to go back and have them fix it, which they didn't. Just put some polish on top. I'm very disappointed and I'll never return or recommend this place to anyone. Be careful! You might get an infection here. read more

Day 7: 3 nails have already popped off. Day 2: the day after the $116 in services - my daughters gel manicure peeled off this morning. And my $50 gel pedicure is peeling off as well. STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! This business advertises with pictures lots of beautiful nails. This place was dirty and full of dog hair everywhere. I made the mistake of waiting last minute to take my graduating high schooler for a gel manicure and pedicure. I decided to get my nails and toes done as well. I made an appt this morning using their Instagram link. They texted me at 10:30 to confirm the appt. When I got there they were lost and had no idea what services I had made the appt for. I explained to them I had an appt. They put my daughter and I at the pedicure station. The pedicures were going fine. But then my daughters manicure got started. She had never had her nails done and wasn't paying attention to what the lady was doing. The lady didn't clean her nails, shape her nails or buff them. She applied the gel and put them under the light. They look like shit. The lady doing my nails must not be licensed for acrylics because she had no clue what to do. She hardly used the machine and tried to do everything with crappy files. She missed several steps and then tried putting the gel polish on without properly prepping the nails. They were crooked. All misshaped and some of them were so thick and wide I was lost with words. Kim then stepped in to shape them and did a subpar job. But the equipment they have is old and cheap so the UV light didn't set the gel properly. After 2 hours I was done. They don't have the prices they advertise on Instagram either. Some how they said I owed $106.50. When I went to pay the owner stepped in and stopped me and asked how things were. I complained and told her everything. She smiled and nodded - I don't know if she understood English. She then said there was a mistake and I owed $116. Fucking rip off. Look at what $116 and 2 hours will get you... my daughter went to her high school graduation with dirty nasty nails that I now have to soak to get the gel off of. read more

I had several fills done, and I had asked if I should have the set removed to have a new set put on and was told no, maybe next time. New Nail Salon has hit the hacienda heights area and they are running a special (mani and pedi for $25) so with that price I had to go check it out. The nail techs are extremely nice and they take their time doing your nails. The place itself isn't big, about 5 spa chairs and a few nail tables, but the salon is very inviting. They also have a little drink bar which is limited to one drink per person. I'm not sure how long that will last but it's a nice touch to a nail salon experience. To make things easy you can schedule your appointments online and there you can also see all the services along with pricing. This place absolutely SUCKS. I went in for a Gel Pedicure and I ended up leaving mid way!... They DO NOT KNOW how to paint nails at all, they make your nails super thick and do way too many layers of polish. When I asked for them to remove the polish because I noticed it was patchy and had many layers.. they said no it would be okay and get better after they put in under the UV lamp. They didn't even clean the excess polish around the nail before they put it under the lamp. I asked for a different technician and the same thing happened again. She did not know how to paint nail either! She even asked the previous technician if she had put bonder on and if it had dried and the previous technician said "uhhh" and didn't say nothing after! I told the lady that the same patchiness had happened on the other foot the previous technician had worked on and she said " it's okay it will get better". I told her no thank you it's okay but can you please just remove the polish and leave it without polish. She proceeded to tell me NO and continued painting layers of polish on my nails! I asked her again if she can please just take the polish off because I didn't like how they painted it. She got bothered because I told her I didn't like the way they painted my nails and got the electric e file and turned it up to the highest speed it can be on and was filling off the polish on my nails but doing it VERY ROUGHLY, Cutting me because she was mad. I simply put my shoes on, asked for the price and immediately left. She charged me $33 dollars for no polish pedicure( just a clean up)and I was there for over an hour. Also, the actual "pedicure" took over an hour just for them to clean and prep. They work incredibly SLOW at this place and don't know what they are doing. I came here because of their "specials" I ended paying more than what I'd usually pay at my normal normal salon. I got a mani & Pedi (gel) my daughter also got a mani and pedi (gel) her pedicure was literally just her having her toes painted with gel. I originally told them I only wanted her nails done but somehow the man was already putting her in the pedicure chair so I allowed it because she's never had one before (she's 5)They didn't cut her toe nails or even soak them, nothing just painted them. On their brochure it says $40 for mani & pedicure gel combo $40 and I was charged way more. To top it off the woman doing my mani didn't completely remove all my gel from the previous time I got them done at my regular salon and you can tell the gel the manicure is clumpy. When it came to pay the total was $88 and $3 charge for using a debit card. I asked to venmo so I didn't have to pay the extra $3 but their QR code wasnt working. So my total was $91. I will not be going back. For that money I could have gotten acrylics and a way better manicure. The only good thing about this was the staff were friendly. Save your money. Worse gel manicure I've ever gotten. Also, my daughters gel manicure is already chipping off. read more

I booked an appt with true Bella nail spa- for a acrylic fill and gel pedicure with the manager - Christina. Now I know us women are extremely picky of who does our nails Christina starts working on my toes for a pedicure - going rather extremely fast. Whatever that's fine. Someone walked in and mentioned she had a 5 pm appt and asked if she would be done in an hour. Christina responded yes. She finished with my toes ( taking off gel and filing ) - asked what color then decided to move on to the new customer and says someone else will do the polish - I mentioned my acrylic fill and she was surprised I had it - she then moved on to this other customer for her toes and fingers. This is not okay. The guy who did my toes- horrible color job, flooded cuticles, toes do not look done. The massage was literally 30 seconds and it was very rough and fast. He left so much oil on my feet and legs when they put my shoes on, my sandals got soaked wiWhen I book an appt , especially with certain someone , you shouldn't leave mid service to work on someone else. This was my second time back at this place and I thought I had found a new nail place to come to, yeah sorry no. I will not be back , I'm fuming at this.
