Came to look at ac unit.we were told it was completely out of freon. Had leak, was told to replace unit. Given a overpriced quote, ordered the unit ourselves online. Called another company to quote install on new unit. WAY cheaper and when they were under home found out that True comfort that supposably replace all air supply ducts about 2 years ago did not do all of them and the unit was not out of freon( not even close) Do not trust them they are crooks! read more

the worst plumbing I have ever seen, double drains for sinks which made it impossible for real plumber to use studor drains, water line for toilets on the wrong side of the toilet, just found out nothing was vented out of house for gas smells from toilets and sinks, shower faucets hot and cold on wrong sides for outside shower, no valve cut off for outside shower to drain water in winter so pipes do not burst. I Have contacted the owner and asked him to come back and vent as was supposed to be for rough in, he said the venting wasn't done until the last walk through inspection. Who cuts through finished painted walls to find venting pipes? this is unbelievable!, this is the owner's knowledge base, to cut through painted finished walls to find how to vent gas smells. this company has no accountability, the owner takes your money and that's it, the costs for cutting through Sheetrock, the roof, finding what ever mess is in the ceiling and pay for roofer to comeback for shingle repair keeps me awake at night. this was new construction everything wrong with the plumbing is this company's fault. read more

Not always the same people showing up from start to finish. One day they're there, the next they're called away to an emergency job. Or just another job, who knows? Maybe they show the following day, maybe not. Lots of angry phone calls between them and the contractor. Put in shower floor before getting inspection; I had to do a real song and dance with inspector to get it ok'd. Some of their techs good, some clueless. Shop manager, when reachable, way too hot-tempered; screamed over the phone at plumber to put in a fixture which simply couldn't be put in that way. Plumber was a pro, put it in right. Manager was a total jackass. Would I use them again? I'd rather get a root canal. read more

I was 150 miles away when my daughter called to say the AC quit and it was 95F and rising. Everyone else in Northern Neck was talking 3-5 days to respond because it has been so hot. I found True Comfort on the web, called, they had a guy nearby who was just finishing up a job, arrived in 15 minutes. The thermostat had taken a surge during last night's t-storm and the factory program had been wiped.
