I've been to the True Food Kitchen in Scottsdale, AZ a couple of times but this was my first time going to the one in Cherry Creek. We went on a Sunday night around 8pm and were seated immediately. I really like the ambience of the restaurant and it's really cool how you get to see all of their fresh vegetables through the windows when walking into the restaurant. Our server was very friendly and attentive which is always a plus! We ordered the Brussel sprouts to start, which were good. They're not the best Brussel sprouts I've ever had, but they still hit the spot. I just prefer when they have bacon in them too. We then ordered the grass fed burger which was reportedly good and the lasagna bolognese. When the lasagna came out it was much different than I was expecting but it was delicious and tasted healthy too! My only recommendation would be that if you do not like spinach or lemon, do not get the lasagna because there was a lot of spinach and the ricotta cheese definitely had some lemon juice in it that was noticeably tasted. read more

For me True Food is just ok. I know they use fresh ingredients and cater to all kinds of food sensitivities. When we went with friends (two who are vegan) the waitress Kiley was the best best part. She was friendly & helpful throughout the evening. The appetizers we had were good not great and the double vegan cheeseburger just didn't taste that good. The patties were mealy and I was expecting top notch vegan burger substitutes (impossible) at other places. This was my first visit to a True Food. Apparently there are now 23 across 10 states. This location at Cherry Creek has an impressive footprint which makes for an open, spacious environment even when busy. The bar has first come seating as well. The menu consists of seasonal starters, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and entrees. And some amazing craft cocktails. The juniper rose was exceptional. Rose petal infused gin, grapefruit, lime, thyme. They typically serve it on the rocks, but I recommend getting it served straight up in a fabulous coupe. The butternut squash soup was perfect for the changing season as fall is approaching and Denver has a nip in the air. The squash flavor really comes through and isn't overloaded with cream. I didn't care for the crispy sage garnish on top. Way too overwhelming and throws the soup off balance. I removed it from the bowl. Entree was pan seared sea bass, Brussels, fennel, golden beets, and squash farro risotto. This was a very unique and interesting dish. Fully flavored with fresh ingredients. The fish was slightly overdone and tightened a bit, but overall very good. I would definitely come back. My only critique was everything seemed rushed with no thought to pacing the meal. I would have liked to finish my aperitif before my entree arrived and then get a glass of wine, but everything just came too quick and never got a chance to order it. And I wasn't asked. read more

This place is busy! There's no free parking but the lot close to it is very reasonable. It sure has fine dining price without the setting. We liked it as our foods tasted very clean yet doesn't lack of flavor. I do recommend their house special juices and teas. Orange sparkling sencha tea was quite special, the hubby enjoyed it very much. Kale aid, on the other hand, is something Bert common but priced at $9, I was hoping it tasted magical but unfortunately, it didn't. The Pan seared sea bass had Chilean sea bass price but was just striped bass. My Korean noodle bowl was the most affordable, but of course it was just the noodles, no protein. Had to try their signature - the grain bowl. While aesthetically, it wasn't that impressive, all of the flavors worked pretty well. However, if I hadn't added the salmon protein, it would've been incomplete. So I highly suggest upgrading and adding some kind of protein, otherwise, you might be disappointed. We had an amazing birthday lunch today. Our server Mason was welcoming & personable, & he had great recommendations for the table. Our water glasses were always full. When the pizza came out with parmesan on it (I forgot to ask for no parm), he was super understanding & made us a new one without hesitation. True foods is a place you can easily eat every single day. I love coming here all the food is extremely healthy and fresh mostly based around season veggies and grass fed meat. All seems to be sustainably sourced. My go to has always been the Tuscan Kale Salad with a protein but honestly any meal you choose you will love. I liked the COVID screenings for this one. There patio and indoor seating but patio felt safer for us. I waited 20-30 minutes for it and they texted us. The menu was all on your phone after scanning a QR code on the table. I ordered the spaghetti squash casserole and the humus as an appetizer. My friend got a salad and my other friend got a noodle bowl. They were all okay, not super memorable. The portions are on the smaller end but this is a healthy restaurant as it is advertised, but I was still hungry afterwards. That's on me for being used to giant American portions. read more

True Foods never disappoints. We went there for a business lunch. It was packed but we had a reservation. It was a bit noisy, but that was okay. I had the poke bowl which is listed as an entrée, but it was a bit on the small side. My wife had a pizza which looked really good, and it was much too large for her to finish. The only downside was the app they have for the menu which allows you to order and pay through the app. It was not clear to us that we should have given our order to the waitress so that they would all come out at the same time. Also, parking in North Cherry Creek. Do yourself a favor and find a parking garage. You may pay more but at least you can get a space. But we will go back many times! read more

We waited 30 minutes to get our food, the server didn't even inform us to why it took so long, they tried to get us a dessert but in honesty we didn't want that we just wanted to be informed why service was delayed by either our server or the manager. It's definitely more of a hip, trendy place. Their menu seems to be composed of simple but really clean meals. We walked in and got seated almost right away. I ended up getting the Farmer's Market Scramble. It was pretty simple but executed really well. The eggs were still fluffy and light. I loved the addition of the onions and yams. We've been True Foods customers for years, visiting multiple locations around the country. We probably eat at Cherry Creek every 6 weeks or so and always have exceptional food and service. The past two visits we've been seated with Christian who is a phenomenal server. He is hospitable, knowledgeable about the menu and helps when Im being indecisive about the menu, which is often since everything is so good. Tonight I had the All American Burger which is delicious, very flavorful and it was a perfectly cooked medium. My husband had his favorite, the chicken parm with spaghetti squash. My husband and I dined here on Saturday, April 27th, with two other couples. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. Our waitress was friendly, made great recommendations on drinks as well as food; and topped off waters regularly. We all ordered an alcoholic drink, 2 apps (hummus and cauliflower) and each person got an entree (2 ppl ordered the Margherita pizza, 2ppl ordered the spaghetti squash casserole, I ordered kale salad with chicken, and another selected the curry bowl I believe). All of us ordered a second round of drinks and were presented with the bill at the same time. We were able to split the meal easily by 3. After settling up, we were asked how quickly we would be vacating the table. We had just ordered a second drink and felt rushed to finish them. Needless to say, it was a little surprising and incredibly rude. In all my dining experiences, we have never been asked to leave. Guess once you've paid, you should promptly leave even if you just ordered another round of drinks! Knocked off two stars for that as we still talk about it five months later and haven't returned! Loved how healthy and tasty this place was. It's always hard to find delicious food that is also health/nutrition focused. The service was also great. My friends and I split a bottle of wine they was very reasonably priced. We also got the edamame guacamole, which is something I've never seen before so we had to try it. It had an Asian flare to it with seasoning. Great with the crispy rice crackers. For my entree I got the Korean noodle bowl with tofu. It was a little spicy, maybe just a little too spicy for someone like me who is sensitive to it. It was also cilantro heavy which I absolutely loved. The texture of the noodles were perfectly crispy. Came during the week around 2pm for lunch. It was pretty busy but the hostess was very nice and we did not have to wait long for a table. I got the harvest salad and it was phenomenal. My friend got another salad bowl, though I cannot remember which one, said she loved it. She also got the iced matcha horchata which she said was delicious and I got the oatmilk cappuccino that I enjoyed. Our waitress was very nice. It is on a pricier side but they do have a happy hour menu every day during the week from 3-6 that seems to have good deals so might be worth to check out. Overall a very good experience. read more
