Tried this location for the first time during a lunch break at work recently. I was very impressed because my last experience with True Food Kitchen (at a different location) was not so great. This location has a great ambiance and very thoughtful interior design. The service was fantastic. Our server came and brought us water right away. Since I was on a break, my time was limited and they did great with getting us taken care of. The food came out quickly and was delicious. They have some tasty drinks. I love the hibiscus one best personally. They have a yummy seasonal menu that is ever changing so there's no chance of getting bored with their offerings. I recommend checking them out! I love this concept of all meals being healthy and anti-inflammatory. I was surprised to learn True Food Kitchen is a chain but, I wish they had more locations in Denver. If I lived closer to this one I would be a regular! Everything we had was so fresh tasting. I ordered the edamame dumpling (a seasonal appetizer) for my entree since I wasn't that hungry along with butternut squash soup. The edamame dumplings had a delicious umami flavor, was warm and soothing. The soup lacked flavor, it could have used more sage, salt and pepper but it was warm and on a chilly night that was what I needed. My brother got the grain bowl. He said the sauce was amazing but he thought the portion was going to be larger. The atmosphere is modern yet relaxed. You could come for a date or just stop in and sit at the bar. Today was my first time and I get why this place might be popular, but for the price and what is advertised, I think some revamping needs to be done. I had the burrito bowl with steak added, and although it was tasty, I had more rice than anything... and the goal in choosing that meal was the protein. I wish I took a picture, but I was befuddled when I saw how much steak they added and it all fit into a spoonful, which to me makes me question the value and/or transparency in portion sizes. For someone who is physically active... I recommend carrying a snack or two for before or after your meal --I tasted part of another dish with maybe curry and chicken, which was super tasty, but I don't know how filling it was. The service was solid and the vibe is nice, the only qualm I have is with how close the tables are, which impacts conversation and general comfort. Great service, beautiful atmosphere (loved the indoor tree decor and patio area), and healthy, delicious food! I will say, it is easy to make something taste good by adding lots of crap. But to make something taste good AND be healthy is a feat. Well true food kitchen has done it. We had their hangover and OG juices to start- both very good. Then we had their edamame dumplings- and they did not disappoint. We tried the butternut squash soup- it was good but I wish it had been served with some bread on the side. After our late morning hike earlier today, my Sweetheart and I wanted something healthy for lunch/dinner so as to not destroy the calorie count we had burnt. Enter True Food Kitchen.....We had both been here before so we knew what we were going into. I really enjoy this location in Cherry Creek North. The staff are friendly, the ambiance, natural and fun. Plants are present and there was a wall of what looked like aspen tree trunks behind our dining booth. I like its mix of slightly upscale but also casual. On this visit we both started out with one of their tasty non-alcoholic drinks, my wife the kale aid, and me the bright eyes. Both earthy but so refreshing. For entrees, I went with the Turkey burger. I was still talking about it on the way home. Thick, juicy, quality turkey patty on a oh so fluffy and tasty bun. The burger comes with butter lettuce, tomato slices, smashed avocado spread, and jalapeno remoulade. This burger blows most beef burgers out of the water on flavor. I enjoyed that it came with a side salad instead of fries or something usual. I'd happily eat this again. My Sweetheart went with the poke bowl and doubled up the tuna portion. It was very hearty and generous - she did say next time to remind her to go with the standard portion as it would have been more than enough. Though True Food isn't too conveniently located to our home and it can be a little pricy (though no pricier than most other places around Denver and you're getting healthy, high quality ingredients), I will happily return. read more

The location here is excellent right in the center of the Cherry Creek shopping district and I was drawn in by the organic offerings. The menu didn't disappoint! The place was crowded and the staff was very friendly. There is also an outside patio which is pleasant for people watching. Disappointed in to leave this review because I had higher expectations. We came by to grab a quick lunch before shopping and got 2 noodle bowls and coffee. The coffee was burnt and honestly not good at all. I tried to ask for an espresso drink (like cap or latte) with just a little less milk but the drinks they brought out were borderline watery. I haven't experienced building community with the staff or other people dining here before but always appreciate the delightfully unique experience and healthy glow upon walking out through the architecturally pleasing doors, onto the romantic streets of Cherry Creek.
