Stopped in for a late dinner, and while it took an unexpectedly long time to be seated despite plenty of available tables, our party of 6 enjoyed the clean interior and even cleaner menu. My picks: CHARRED CAULIFLOWER (V, GF) medjool dates, harissa tahini, dill, mint, pistachio (8g protein | 340 cal) TUNA POKE BOWL (GF) regenerative black rice, avocado, roasted wild mushrooms, cucumber, jalapeño, edamame, pickled ginger, citrus ponzu (32g protein | 500 cal) Good eats that are good for you!

Still a great place to come for Brunch. Got their delicious Ranchers Hash again. Along with their Matcha Latte and Cafe Latte. Tried their Jambalaya and it's pretty good. Good portions of sausage and shrimp. Good spicy kick. Services is always great here. Rafaella is very nice and attentive. We just love sitting this huge, open restaurant. They don't currently validate parking. Which is fine with use. Just FYI. See you next time True Food :)

True Food Kitchen in San Diego was just okay. This is my second time dining at this national chain, and this time, the food was incredibly bland and lacked any seasoning. I understand that they make everything in-house from scratch, but the True Food Kitchen in Austin was far superior. I was also surprised when I ordered some ranch dressing and requested a small portion on the side. They gave me a tiny cup and later charged me a dollar for it. I found this to be a bit excessive. Our server was friendly and young, but they lacked the conversational skills to answer our questions about the menu. Based on my experience, I can't really recommend this causal dining and open airy place, and I'm not sure I'll be giving them a third try.

OMGOODNESS! As always, True Food Kitchen delivers excellent food quality and consistently on point! The Spicy Panang Curry Bowl is delicious bursting in flavor with every bite! The base is the vegetables. You can add a protein with an additional fee. We absolutely love this dish. The Rancher's Hash was also delicious. It consists of red bell peppers, grilled onions, cherry tomatoes, scallions, avocados, sweet potatoes, white cheddar cheese, sunny side eggs, salsa, sourdough bread, and tender grass fed beef. The server was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and clean. Great bathroom as well. Bar area with football games on. Love it!

I stopped in for some dessert with a friend and we sat at the bar because the restaurant was busy. The service was great and fast. I had the chocolate cake with ice cream and it was very rich and delicious. The environment is lively and fun. I would definitely come back for dinner!

First time here with the hubby and it was a great experience! We opted for the dinner duo. For the appetizer we chose the edamame dumplings and for our entree we got the Chinese chicken salad and an all American burger. The salad tasted so fresh. A burst of flavors in your mouth with ginger overpowering the dish- which was not a bad thing because I love ginger! The burger was juicy and came in a soft bun. Didn't think I would like the edamame dumpling, but it was amazing! Melt in your mouth and was so delicious in the flavorful broth. Our server Sofia (sp?) was so nice and patient with us. She accommodated all our needs. Lastly the dessert was just so amazing. A cake with caramel, some nuts topped with ice cream. Excited to try more menu items here next time.

Friendly fast service and delicious healthy food! The dining area is open and bright with a view of the kitchen as well as a large patio area. I have the ancient grains bowl- I added chicken( although it would have been great and 12gm protein without that). The sweet potato was cooked perfectly and has a sweet and spicy seasoning the snap peas were fresh crunchy and lightly cold with sesame seeds added the avocado was great as was the pesto- a lot of different flavors going on, but if all tied together well. I would describe it as warm and cozy comfort food that tastes good and makes you feel good too! I wish there was a location near me ( Ventura) but will return here in my next visit to San Diego

went to lunch here today with my sweet friend JiYoung, who is moving back to korea THIS WEEK....ugghhhh! REALLY gonna miss her! No one as kind as JiYoung and her family! True foods is one of these places where you can go, get a really good meal and feel great bc they don't use seed oils! The food is really goodi had the Watermelon Haloumi salad and 1/2 of protein style burger - gluten free of course) and JiYoung had a chicken wrap and watermelon Haloumi salad. We had a long two hour lunch which was the perfect amount of time to say goodbye and catch up before she leaves! now i'm on the hook to go visit Korea too! Fun times! def recommend true foods!

Came here for a company dinner, got to try a good amount of appetizers and dishes here. I found the food overall to be a bit hit or miss. I tried the edamame dumplings, humus and pita chips, Brussels sprouts, pink lemonade, jambalaya pasta, and chocolate chip ice cream with cookies. The best appetizer was the Brussels sprouts, which was made pretty well, and had good spicy seasoning on it! The edamame dumplings were a bit interesting, they kind of had a ravioli texture to them and did not have that much flavor or seasoning. The humus was also just okay, would've liked more flavor/spice on it, and the chips it came with were huge...probably 3x the size of a normal chip. An interesting choice, and a bit difficult to eat it as a result. The jambalaya pasta was pretty good. I did like that it came with a generous amount of chicken, shrimp and sausage but again the flavor was a bit bland and it could have used more sauce. This was a consistent theme across most of their dishes, I understand they're more of a healthy restaurant but just a bit more flavor would be nice. My colleague had to ask for extra teriyaki sauce on his dish. As for the drinks, normally I love pink lemonade but struggled to finish my drink. Ironically, the best thing by far was their chocolate chip cookie and ice cream! The cookie was cooked just right and melted in your mouth, and being paired with good ice cream was a bonus. Overall, this is a decent restaurant with the potential to be good if they just added more flavor and sauce! The restaurant is pretty nice and service was good throughout with our large party.

Not sure what the heck happened here, but I had my husband pick up food for me... right at opening, and the food was cooked (or not) cooked well. The chicken tenders were dry, and the shrimp was rubbery yet tasted undercooked at the same time... gross.

This was by far a superior health food experience! Gigi & Maddie made the dining experience even better with their outgoing and welcoming personalities. I was especially impressed by the tag team effort including expos and other staff who were at our service. The Edemame Dumplings with chili oil were a healthy appetizer that set the night in motion. They were delicious, and the chili oil provided some heat to the palate. The Ancient Grains Bowl was a great mix of healthy ingredients and protein. The ranch dressing is a vegan based ranch that was surprisingly tasty. The TFK Burger was on a buttered brioche seeded bun and came with a side of parmesan fries and peri-peri ketchup. Overall, the food was delicious! The ambiance was very open with soft lighting in the evening. Thank you to True Food Kitchen and their staff for such a great experience!

We love coming to True Food! The cocktails are fantastic. I had an espresso martini that was perfectly made and strong--exactly how it should be. Great drinks and a spot we're always happy to return to.

It's so modular and easy to order from the table through our phone app,, it honestly felt as high-tech as Tony Stark commanding F.R.I.D.A.Y. from his suit tbh. Although this was not our first time eating here, they must have changed the business model, as the last time we went was almost a decade ago. Their menu has changed significantly, and although they were excellent before, I think they are even better. We tried pretty much all of the proteins, from the steak, chicken, pork rib, ribs, and they were all excellent very fresh ingredients. The meats were so perfectly cooked and tender they basically fell apart easier than Thanos's army at the end of Endgame lol. We especially love the side dishes. The broccolini was excellent with the sesame sauce. We loved the brussels sprouts as well. And I really loved the beef and mushroom soup. It had such a comforting and rich flavor that it felt like Scarlet Witch used some chaos magic in the kitchen to get it exactly right. French fries were pretty good, and pretty standard. That was the only dish that was average, but everything else was excellent. Good service and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We even brought our pups! The patio was so spacious and chill it basically felt like relaxing at the Avengers compound after a mission. Parking is super easy. It was such a breeze we didn't even need to use Pym particles to shrink our car to fit into a spot. Five out of five stars

Freaking religious experience…read more You'll want to set aside a couple hours for dinner at Duke's. Not because it's outdoors and has a great vibe, and helpful, friendly servers, which make you want to stay there for hours with your family, friends, or coworkers--although all of that is true. Not because it has a gorgeous view of the Pacific--which it does. Not even because of their piña coladas! No, my friend. It's because their sautéed Mac nut & herb-crusted fresh fish with mac salad is just *so good* but if you have any reverence for all that is good and true in this world, you'll have to stop every few bites, let your eyes roll back into your head a little, and enjoy it. It's just... slow. Now. First things first. Mac nut, mac salad. One is Macadamia nuts; one is macaroni. Hopefully my team member who raved about the mac salad does not read this and realize that I thought it was a salad of Macadamia nuts. I was like OK, that sounds weird, but I do love Macadamia nuts, so let's try it. She was right to rave. It was *delicious*. In fact, I think the fish and the salad kind of ran together a bit and made each other even more delicious. Look, I'm not sure how it worked, I just know it worked. Apparently for the dinner menu it only shows rice with the fish; ignore that. Just ask them to swap it out. Speaking of lunch, I did also have lunch at Duke's once. Got fish and chips. And let me tell you, the weirdest thing: Their *tartar sauce* was off the charts. I know. Who nails the tartar sauce? But it had this perfect zing to it, as though they got an idea from the usual malt vinegar and mixed it all in there. Given the quality of what I've had do far, you probably can't go wrong at Duke's. Get a reservation, ask for an ocean view--and give yourself plenty of time.

The view was amazing. I chose it for our guest. I knew I'd find something on the menu as a vegan option. I had read they were accommodating so I didn't worry and knew it would be great. I saw a few items labeled vegetarian and I asked what recommendations the server had for vegan options. She told me what was easy to be vegan on the menu and she offered to check with the chef. She came back and gave me more options, which was nice. The dinner menu is different from the lunch menu. I think the lunch menu had a falafel burger and a quinoa vegetable dish. So, for dinner I decided to have a southwestern kale salad without cheese and sub the dressing. I also got a side of roasted veggies. It was a nice variety of veggies and everything was fresh and tasty. I shared the roasted veggies with my husband because it was enough to share. I was very satisfied with the salad. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making the change without any issues. When we arrived, the restaurant was quiet, with only one other party dining inside. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. I was immediately greeted with water, and our server came by shortly after to introduce himself and go over the menu. To start, we ordered the: *Estancia Guacamole: it was fresh, flavorful, and unique, featuring pineapple and pomegranate that added a nice balance of sweetness and texture. For my entrée, I had the: *Estancia Wagyu Burger: this burger was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. It was served with fries. I shared it with a friend, but honestly could have eaten the whole thing myself. For drinks, we tried the: *Jungle Flower Margarita: refreshing and well-balanced. It wasn't overly sweet or bitter like many margaritas can be. *Trinity Margarita: a bit tart for my taste, but my friend enjoyed it. The service throughout the meal was excellent. Our server provided great recommendations, checked on us regularly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. The food was delicious, the drinks were well crafted, the service was outstanding, and the restaurant itself is a cute and welcoming spot. I'd happily return.

Rating: 2.5 (rounded up to 3)…read more I was staying at the Estancia hotel and had dinner here. I noticed that the menu went through an overhaul and none of what I saw on Yelp still exists. It appears to have less of a Mexican influence and more of a rustic Californian vibe. We opted to dine inside vs outside and we were seated right away. The ambience was beautiful and enjoyed the fireplace. Our server was Ivan who greeted us and took our orders promptly. My daughter ordered a kids cheeseburger and we requested to add lettuce and tomato (which was an additional $2). This was not a big deal, but I wish that additional charge was communicated to us for transparency purposes.. more on that later. We also ordered the Kale Caesar salad which was tasty and what you would expect. I ordered the braised osso bucco which was personally recommended by Ivan. The short rib was good but the portion was small. The polenta was a bit pasty and had a texture reminiscent of refried beans. The side of beans and roasted peppers were the least favorable part of the dish though they looked like they would be good. I would've much rather had mashed potatoes. We also ordered the smoked half chicken which was just fine, but nothing to write home about. As for drinks, I ordered the rancho flower margarita which was recommended by the server but was a little too sweet for my liking. My partner ordered a Diet Coke ($6) which was from a fountain machine so when we asked for a refill, we were surprised we were charged for the refill (additional $6) since the server didn't mention that there would be an additional charge for a refill. Again, not a big deal.. but it would've been appreciated if he mentioned this first. My biggest complaint is that we were charged for not only the Diet Coke plus refill but we were also CHARGED FOR A COKE WE NEVER ORDERED. I was trying to get our server's attention to address this, but he was so Busy attending to his other tables that I just gave up so I could enjoy the rest of my evening. In short, this place is okay food wise. Know you will get charged for soda refills and make sure to review your receipt for erroneous charges.

The lavender was perfect, not too perfumy (not a word apparently but it is today) but enough to say ok, there's lavender in there and I like it. It was refreshing. My main meal was the chilaquiles which had a nice kick to it so beware if you can't tolerate any spicy flavors. It was more of a soup in presentation but I love sauce and may have licked the bowl because I'm classy. We also desperately wanted the side of potatoes because we kept seeing it and all of us ended up getting an order and did not regret it. The potatoes include the skin, salted and super crunchy. It's like fry well fries and I'm all about it. We will be back!!!

Came here to have some breakfast before the hike. Place was pretty empty. They have lots of seating…read moreindoor and outdoor. The place is located inside the conference center so it's super modern and beautiful inside. Definitely a pleasant looking establishment. Service was very friendly and attentive. They have a decent amount of parking as well. Food unfortunately didn't deliver. Matcha was pretty good, and a green smoothie was decent but way too heavy on a protein powder. I ordered avocado toast with an egg and it was very decent, but nothing special. Bread was kind of fatty, I believed it was dipped in butter. My husband had some breakfast platter with potatoes which he asked to be extra crispy and he got the deep fried breakfast potatoes. His bread was also dipped in butter and his egg was also very fatty. So we didn't enjoy the food too much.
