True REST Float Spa 1293 North Peachtree Parkway Peachtree City, Georgia 30269 I truly wanted to love this place, especially after my first visit -- which was amazing. I even left them an excellent review at that time. Unfortunately, everything after that has been a train wreck. My second visit was a disaster. There was a new, clearly undertrained employee who didn't know how to start the required orientation video. During my float, the lights (which should have been off) were blindingly bright, and there was no relaxing music. I had asked to purchase shower slippers but was never brought them. Something else I noticed was a drastic difference in the float itself. On my very first visit, I could feel the salt on my skin -- it left a visible residue afterward, and I floated effortlessly. But on a later visit, I didn't float the same way, didn't feel the salt on my skin at all, and didn't get the deep therapeutic effect I had come for. When I asked the attendant, she told me they constantly have to add water and that the salt ratio might not always be consistent. That was extremely disappointing -- especially when you're paying for a float experience that should be reliable every time. At one point, I canceled and rescheduled an appointment, only to wake up the next morning with a surprise $25 charge on my account. The district manager did call and issue a credit, which I appreciated. But the problems didn't stop there. On my next scheduled float, I drove over an hour from Barnesville, only to be told their computer system was down -- and because it controls the floats, they couldn't honor any appointments. That was incredibly frustrating. Another major issue is their lack of accessible customer service. No one ever answers the phone. You're automatically sent a text message and expected to handle all communication that way, even cancellations. Despite canceling my membership through text, I woke up this morning to find I'd been charged for another month. I understand that things happen beyond our control, but this has become a pattern. Poor training, communication issues, technical failures, inconsistent float conditions, and inadequate customer support. At this point, I cannot recommend True REST Float Spa in Peachtree City. I give them a 1-star rating. They have a lot of work to do if they want to be a company people can trust to deliver a consistent, relaxing experience. read more

I scheduled an appointment and confirmed the appointment. I arranged my schedule to make sure I showed up on time (30 mins before appointment). I get there and the doors are locked, no one answered the phone and I was relayed to an automated text service. I specifically took off work for this appointment and now it was a waste. I have two gift cards I have to spend at this location and I'm don't trust them to honor my scheduled appointment I'm the future. I guess if you make an appointment call the day before and day of to make sure someone is actually there. read more

Floating has really reduced my aches and pains. I first heard about floating from Joe Rogan, and thought I'd like to try it. It took 4 or 5 floats to dramatically reduce the pain in my spine and hips. I now go a couple time a week and feel 10 years younger. If you have pain and inflammation in your joints and muscles, this is a must! The effects you'll receive from floating will be dramatic, and much more effective, and longer lasting than Advil. Go twice a week for at least two weeks and you'll see what I mean. read more

I'm so happy there is a business like this locally. HOWEVER, like almost everything around here, its a chain and an ok experience, but nothing amazing or special, especially not for the price. It feels very generic and strip mall'ish. Kind of similar to Massage Envy type vibes. The video they make you watch is salesy and the room you watch it in feels more like a dentist office. The "Lounge" area doesn't seem inviting or relaxing. For a float experience I would have expected a warmer spa like environment. I do like that they have showers in each room, but my actual float wasn't that great either. The pod doors didn't close all the way, so the light from the room came through. The music never turned off and the main light went on about 30 min into my float. Since the music never turned off and the lights turned on, I thought my float was over. I got out, took the ear plugs out and checked the time. I still had 25 min left. I put the ear plugs back in and tried again, but since they got wet, they didn't seal my ears the 2nd time and water came in. The main light in the room continued to turn on and off every few minutes until I was done. I informed the girl at checkout what happened and I got a quick "oh sorry" and then she tried to sell me on a package deal. Needless to say, I most likely wont be returning. read more

I cancelled my membership nearly a year ago without owing any money. A year later, In one week they charged my account $65 5 different times. I reached out to them numerous times asking for assistance. The girl that answered the phone said there was nothing they could do. I have reached out through phone, email, Linkedin, and social media; I even contacted the Better Business Bureau. The only response I received was from the girl at the front desk. Beware they can and will charge you for service as many times as they want and will not assist you in any resolution. There is no information available to reach out to corporate except through LinkedIn. I spent hours disputing charges and cancelling my card. It may take 90 days to get my money back. If they had reversed the charges this would have not been an issue. Instead, they are shamefully hiding behind an hourly employee. read more

I am happy to say that after speaking with the manager the charges for continued service after the free float month have been dropped. please understand we had a very pleasant experience with True Rest Float spa. It was a very relaxing, clean, restful epsom salt float. It obviously works wonders for many. We are happy this issue was resolved. Give it a try. read more

NOT WORTH THE MONEY. It is relaxing for about 30 minutes, then it's over kill. The worst part for us is that we were first time floaters and were quoted an intro price of $65 each when we booked the sessions. (Pricy enough for a dressed up Epsom salt bath to start with) But the spa did A "Bait and Switch" and we were charged $89 per person instead after our float. All of their advertising: website, pamphlets, card advertise this rate and when I showed the young man the website, he told me that was a "web-rate" only. Then when I showed him the rate advertised on his pamphlet right there on his desk, he shook his head and told me if I joined he could give me the first time float rate. Poor customer service. My advice is to stay home and take a hot Epsom Salt Bath and then go get a good massage with the money you'd spend. The one bright spot is the Oxygen Bar, that really worked clearing out a stuffy nose. But not enough to get us to ever go back. read more
