I don't know remember the name of the lady that did my nails, but omg I didn't like her work at all! As I watched her do my nails I could tell she wasn't very good at her job. Every single finger was cut/burned while she was filing them with the drill. I was literally in pain the whole time. I asked for short coffin nails and she left them all squared. I told her that the nails were too wide and if she could please file them to more of a coffin shape, she just laughed and said she couldn't. She also made fun of my hands and I could tell she was talking to her coworker about my hands cause she was pointing at them and laughing, like wtf is wrong with you. Even though she did a really crappy job, I still paid and tipped for the service. I definitely won't be coming back here. I only wish I knew her name so y'all can avoid her. read more

My cousin made an appointment @2:50pm for us both , a manicure and pedicure.When we walkedinto the salon we picked our color and waited. Another person walks in after us with a 3pm appointment and was seated before my cousin and I were.More people came in after and Vince told them pick a color and sit.30 mins into waiting , my cousin finally gets sat in the pedicure chair while I'm still waiting.Almost an hour of waiting Vince asks me what color I want and the lady who is doing my cousins pedicure will do my manicure. I am not about to wait even more or be rushed during a manicure when I had PLENTY of time waiting.Why take more clients when you haven't even served the ones already waiting ? I chose this salon not only because of previous good Yelp reviews, but also they were open and available for Saturday mornings which are usually booked! I was very grateful to the owner, Kevin, for his helpfulness and hospitality making sure everyone was taken care of in the salon. It was so nice to be in a salon that has many returning customers who are happy to interact with the staff, made for a positive salon experience. Pulled out my cuticles so hard that I started bleeding on 3 fingers. These pictures are two days later. I'm usually ok with this happening once to 1 finger, but for her to see I was bleeding and to keep ripping the cuticle thats it happened to multiple fingers is not ok. Cuticle softener was not used. Also my nails had nothing on them and she still used the nail drill. I've never had that happen with nothing on nails. Pedicure was ok not great. Will not go back or recommend. read more

I found this place when I was still on the search for a nail salon I could call "home." I was never really a person who got their nails done regularly, so I was used to trying salons that were nearby out of convenience. This salon isn't really far from me but being that you could easily find a nail salon within minutes from home in any city nowadays, driving a good 15-20 minutes to go to one can be considered a bit much. So I guess you can gather that it's been worth the trip, huh? Keep reading. I originally went to this place because I saw they offered dip powder manicures and they were closeish to my gym. I called to confirm pricing and spoke with John, one of the owners. I made an appointment with him and when I showed up, I was immediately seen. First impressions: This place is clean, cute, and seems fairly new still. I've only ever been on a Tuesday or Wednesday, so I can't say I've seen it supremely busy where people are waiting for an hour or more - but it's busy enough that all the technicians are occupied all of the time (pro tip: make an appointment via phone call or yelp). John did my manicure and another technician did my pedicure. Awesome job all around. John is friendly and chops it up with you while he's doing your nails. He and Rebecca are husband and wife and own the place. I left feeling pleased with both my manicure and pedicure. I should've just returned back to True Touch afterward but I made a mistake and tried two new places out of convenience. One horrible experience and one okay experience. After that, I decided I would head back to True Touch. This time, Rebecca handled my powder manicure. She is amazing. My dip manicure lasted 5.5 weeks! Granted, I had a ton of new growth but the fact that it held on for that long is kind of insane. Oh, and a worthy side mention? Rebecca is always offering mimosas! Need I say more after that? In any case, I was soooo pleased with my manicure with Rebecca, I decided that True Touch would be my salon from now on. I went back to True Touch recently for my third time. This time I walked in and didn't see John or Rebecca. Not going to lie, I panicked a little. I ended up being helped by Kristin and she did an awesome job too! Really took her time with my nails. It was like a work of art to her. I think I preferred the way Rebecca filed them but I was still very happy with my nails over all. Well, that just sealed the deal. True touch has found a loyal customer in me. Their prices are reasonable and comparable to what you pay elsewhere, the place is uber clean, the staff is friendly, nice, and accommodating, they have a great selection of colors...and most importantly, they offer mimosas. Customer service was great. Vince reached out to me right away and made sure my nails were redone. Gina did my gel mani, she's gentle especially to the side of my nails which is very sensitive. She was very meticulous too with gel application and made sure she capped it perfectly for the polish to last. She applied sunscreen to my hands as per my request since I have lupus and uv sensitivity. She did it without question and judgment. I got a gel pedi that came with really relaxing hot stone massage, they wrapped my legs with lotion and cucumbers in a hot towel and exfoliant and another massage at the end for $55. Owner is super nice and accommodating. I always get compliments on my nails when I get them done here. If you make an appointment they try to get you serviced at your appointment time. I've been to other salons where they stick you in a chair have have you wait almost an hour after your appointment to start service because they did not manage their time and bookings correctly. This place takes shortcuts. For my pedicure, I barely got to soak my feet for five minutes. Immediately right when I sat down on the chair, she didn't give me a moment to relax and and enjoy the pedicure. The same goes for the manicure. Instead of using polish remove to remove my polish, the tech used a nail file to buff out the polish. It ended up ruining my nail bed and the polish wasn't even completely off. I asked the tech if this was their practice at the salon and he said, oh acetone?? you want acetone to remove polish? as if I was asking for something outlandish. Similar to the pedicure, I soaked my fingernails for less than two minutes. For me, as part of getting my nails done, its an opportunity to relax and enjoy a light massage on my feet and arms. This place doesn't do that. They want to paint your nails, and get you out of their chair as fast as possible so they can take on the next customer. read more

Long story short she had to remove everything and soak my hands in sticky acetone until I had enough. They couldn't remove everything(clearly) because my nails became too thin. I'm very disappointed. Today was my first time coming. I went in for a pedi with jacked up looking feet because I had broken my big toe nail and it was super short. I had to wait a little longer due to letting them know ahead of time that I would like them to try to fix that nail. Spent over 160.. 60 on pedicure, I kept telling the girl to be careful and not to cut unevenly, 2 weeks later both feet gave ingrown nails, Dr said due to not cutting properly! Next spent over 120 on basic gel x. Which is fine but no extra but basic polish.. first they were not even matched to my nail bed, they overlapped.. she fixed then and charged me for fixing her mistake .. I'm not a picky customer, I'm not even one to speak up unless you are truly doing a terrible job. I made a 5:30pm appointment and had never felt like a technician (Jenny) was so rushed to get out. She dropped her tools like 5 times. She was so aggressive pushing the cuticle back that I actually jerked my hand back. She cut me and all she said was opps. I went in for an acrylic removal and manicure. The point of soaking acrylics off is to not ruin/damage my natural nail and she still used her machine to file it down to the point where my natural nail broke. My pinky nail is like paper thin, red and tender. She also did a terrible polish job. The nail polish is bumpy. Also if you're waiting for lotion or a massage good luck. I had to ask for lotion and there was not massage like you usually getting after a manicure. Never ever returning to this location. Insanely disappointed. read more
