Couple days later, I'm on the 405 at the 22, I hear a *THUNK* and see a piece of something in my rear view mirror fly off my car and nearly hit the one behind me. If you ever saw the end to the sci-fi movie "Serenity", you know what I'm talking about. When I get to my destination, sure enough, the exterior trim applique is missing. Shit! They don't make Saturns anymore and parts are worth a small mint. People tell me to chech out Pick Your Part, but I don't feel like wasting a day in a junkyard looking for a Saturn with the trim part I need. I go online and in less than ten minutes, I find this site, find the exact part I need and checkout. Easy, peezy, lemon-squeezie! $35.17 for the trim and a bolt, including (dammit!) $9 for shipping. At least the nice thing was that it only took my mechanically-inept ass five minutes to install the trim. Funny thing I learned...my Saturn uses a lot of Chevy parts. Go figure.

They installed the plates (I could tell my sales rep, knew I wasn't happy). I have returned for service on the same vehicle and been treated very well from the Service department. Never had an issue from Service, in fact some service reps have gone above and beyond in customer service. I'm gonna be in the market for a new truck soon, I may consider giving them a 2nd chance to right the wrong. We shall see. Haven't dealt with the sales department since this license plate incident.

A very serious and twice confirmed service of a tire rotation. I live in DETx and do not get to Dallas at all. An opportunity came about to fly out of DFW so I planned and scheduled the free oil change and what I thought and was told was true a tire rotation. That was an apparent mistake but I confirmed 3 times via text that the tire rotation would be performed. I was not pushy and understood that the Advocate may have made a mistake in offering the service under the concierge timeframe. I was told TWICE and in writing that the tire rotation would be done, including a car wash. My truck was there from Wednesday the 21st until today, Monday the 24th. Ample time to let me know the tire rotation would not be included. Instead, Chevy chose to lie, and allow me to think I was on the road with a little more life in my tires while decisions were made for new tires and other services. I made a stop in Terrell TX and noticed the rotation was NOT performed. Further, when I called to speak to an "Advocate", I was promptly asked, "what makes you say we didn't do the tire rotation"? Lol!! There is a distinct flaw in the rear driverside tire. I hate to think that because I am a woman that I am thought of as oblivious to the performance and nuances of my truck that I own. Or, worse yet, a dumb woman. An offer of traveling 300+ miles to Dallas in the future for a tire rotation made little since, as I mentioned that the Dallas area is far from my home and this city is rarely visited. I do not plan to visit or buy from Friendly for my next Chevy, nor will I put another 300+ miles on un-rotated tires. No Thank You!

I purchased a Duralast battery (Model 75DT-DL, Group Size 75, 650 CCA) from the AutoZone location…read moreon Garland Road in Dallas, TX, in November 2024. Before purchasing, I asked the salesperson a very specific question: If this battery fails within the 2-year free replacement window and I receive a new battery, does the new battery come with a fresh 2-year warranty? I was told "Absolutely." To be certain, I asked to speak to the store manager, and received the same answer. In May 2025, just six months later, the battery completely failed. I went to the AutoZone on Ross Avenue to replace it (because that was the closest store to where it died). When I explained what I had been told about the warranty resetting, I was met with a completely different response. I was told flat-out that the warranty does not restart and was treated with condescension for even suggesting otherwise. No attempt was made to explain the discrepancy--just rude and dismissive behavior. At this point, I'm unsure which store gave me incorrect information--but one of them clearly did. I was very clear when I asked my question at the time of purchase, and I relied on the answer I was given when making the decision to buy. The battery failing after only six months is disappointing enough on its own. But being told different things by two separate AutoZone locations--and being treated poorly in the process--is unacceptable. I expect consistency from a national chain, especially when it comes to warranty terms that directly affect the customer's rights and expectations.
