When i finally spoke with technician he was fine but the work order didn't line up with our conversation and things were marked as discussed that were definitely not. I had a very frustrating experience with this dealership's service department. My vehicle was left on their lot for nearly five days and no work was completed during that time. I also received little to no communication despite calling twice for updates--both times I was told my advisor, Zuri, was unavailable and I never received a follow-up. On the fifth day, I requested to pick up my car due to the lack of progress and communication. When I got my vehicle back, I discovered that an item was missing from inside my car. I reported the issue and requested that it be looked into, including reviewing any available security footage, but I have not seen any real effort to resolve the situation or recover the missing item. Overall, this experience was disappointing due to the lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability. I would be cautious about using this service department in the future. read more

Reviews are very important. There is a huge difference between their Google reviews and their Yelp reviews. When I'm making plans for a major purchase, I use all that's at my fingertips. When looking at some of their vehicles online, I submitted a quote for a potential trade-in, just in case. It does state that someone will call you regarding your trade, which was fine. I used my Google number for that reason. My issue: They have called, and have sent multiple texts since filling out the form on Monday. From that time to the current (4 days), I have received 14 calls/texts. Who does that? They, do. Crazy thing is, the calls and texts came from four different people, FOUR. Do they not keep track of who is handling a potential client and allow only that person to follow up? Also, if you're calling and texting the same person, after contacting them 14 times, why are you still attempting to contact that person? I'm happy I used my Google number; I would have been very upset if they were doing this on my actual phone. This is unacceptable, and I will definitely not be using their services when I'm ready to make a purchase. read more

I took my 2023 Chevrolet Suburban to this dealership to fix a mechanical issue, and my experience has been terrible from beginning to end. The first time, they replaced parts that apparently had nothing to do with the original problem and charged me around $3,000. The issue was never fixed, and according to mechanic Alex García and Jessica Palomo, replacing those parts would solve the problem, which is why I agreed to pay for the repairs. Since the exact same issue continued, I had to return a second time. On that visit, mechanic Alex García replaced another part and told me to drive the vehicle for about 200 miles because the issue would gradually disappear. After driving more than 200 miles, the problem remained exactly the same and actually became worse, as a warning message appeared saying that the transmission would soon stop functioning properly. In other words, I took my vehicle in to fix one problem and ended up with a much bigger one, while also spending thousands of dollars on repairs that solved absolutely nothing. The third time I brought the vehicle in, the staff's attitude was even worse. Since I do not speak English, I felt discriminated against and disrespected. The manager, Melissa, treated me with a bad attitude, as if it were my fault for having to return multiple times, when in reality if they had done their job correctly from the beginning, I would not have needed to come back three times. My vehicle has been at this dealership for almost a week and they still have not returned it to me. When I said I wanted to take my vehicle back, an older man with little hair, a white beard, and blue eyes -- whose name I do not remember but who also appeared to be a manager -- mocked me. I told him I wanted to speak with the owner of the dealership because his staff was unprofessional and treating me poorly. In English, he sarcastically told me to call the owner myself, acting as if he were the owner. It was a very uncomfortable, humiliating, and unprofessional situation. Since Friday, they were supposed to provide me with an estimate, and as of today, Tuesday the 19th, I am still waiting for clear answers. As of today, I have not even been able to get my vehicle back. This has definitely been one of the worst experiences I have ever had as a customer. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, especially Spanish-speaking customers, because the way they treat us leaves a lot to be desired. They are very racist, so if you do not want to go through a terrible experience and waste thousands of dollars unnecessarily, do not visit this dealership. read more

This is by far the worst dealership ever. Do not come here. Nobody tells you what is going on no updates you talk to a service representative. They say that it just came in after you talked to the manager and they said that they didn't have the parts yet and they didn't know when it was going to be delivered. It's been there basically half a year two months at a time. And the first time they did not provide a loaner car for you, which at the other dealership they do provide you one the day you drop off your car. You have to go directly to General Motors and they have to talk to Friendly Chevrolet to get anything done. Update: Well after several calls and finally me showing up in person (no appt), and not leaving without my plates, they magically found the plates that they had the whole time (overheard one of the sales reps say they have had them and were about to send them back). They installed the plates (I could tell my sales rep, knew I wasn't happy). I have returned for service on the same vehicle and been treated very well from the Service department. Never had an issue from Service, in fact some service reps have gone above and beyond in customer service. I'm gonna be in the market for a new truck soon, I may consider giving them a 2nd chance to right the wrong. We shall see. I dropped my car off at Friendly Chevrolet on February 27th and was told by my service advisor, Corwin, that the repair would take 3-4 days max. Instead, they had my car for over 6 weeks, and I received very little communication from Corwin or any updated timeline. Multiple times I called for updates and was told he was unavailable and could not take my call. At one point, I was told the delay was due to a part they couldn't find. I located and purchased it myself within an hour, yet it still took an additional two weeks to complete the work. I was never proactively informed about the extended delay and was not offered a loaner vehicle or any transportation assistance. This was awful service. I would not recommend this service department. I would encourage others to use different service advisors aside from Corwin, as I have used others here previously with no issues. Misdiagnosed twice. Costs escalated. Car held weeks. Leadership stayed silent. To be clear upfront, our 2021 Suburban was out of warranty. That is not the issue. The issue is how this situation was handled. We initially brought the vehicle in for a mechanical issue that was diagnosed and repaired at significant cost. Just weeks later, the same symptoms returned, and we were forced to bring the car back. At that point, it was determined the original diagnosis had been incorrect and a different, very expensive component was actually required. Before authorizing the second repair, we were quoted a price and explicitly told it included no discounts. We were advised to pursue GM Customer Assistance, with expectations set for a meaningful adjustment. After the repair was completed and paid, we were told the "assistance" was actually an employee discount of roughly 5 percent. This was never disclosed upfront and was presented after the fact as the final outcome. Compounding this, the vehicle was held for over two weeks with no loaner provided, leaving us without transportation while waiting on a part. Communication throughout this period was minimal at best. When we escalated in writing to the service advisor, their manager, dealership leadership, and GM Customer Assistance, no one took ownership. The dealership did not respond at all. GM Customer Assistance confirmed they had spoken with the dealer, accepted their explanation without challenge, and closed the matter. As a five-year customer who has spent well over six figures with Friendly Chevrolet in vehicle purchases and servicing, this experience was grossly disappointing. The lack of transparency, accountability, empathy, and follow-through from both the dealership and GM Customer Assistance was frankly shocking. There was nothing about this experience that could reasonably be described as "friendly." We will not return and strongly advise other customers to get everything in writing and ask very direct questions before authorizing work here. read more

Thankfully, Melissa, the manager, stepped in and she completely turned the situation around. Melissa truly went above and beyond. I had been stuck driving an EV rental that didn't meet my needs and was constantly running out of battery. I had originally requested a truck, and no one had made it happen until Melissa got involved. She not only got the right vehicle, but she also personally delivered it to me the same day. I've never had that kind of service from any other manager there. In all the time I've dealt with Friendly Chevrolet, I've met multiple managers Caleb and at least five others and none of them got things done as efficiently or professionally as Melissa did. She fixed the issue quickly, communicated clearly, and actually cared about making things right. If you ever have a problem, ask for Melissa. I purchased a 2025 Chevy 1500 from Friendly Chevy in July 2025, and in just 5 months of ownership my truck has spent well over 30 days in their service department. From day one, the truck had problems--loose running boards, tire rubbing, and later loud squeaking as if the brakes were failing. After only 1,000 miles, I was told the lift had been installed incorrectly, causing loose lower control arms and cupping on my front tires. They kept the truck for over a week claiming everything was fixed, but within days the same issues returned and parts began failing again. I was told the third-party installer would finally fix or replace the lift in November. I dropped it off on Nov 11 and didn't hear anything until Nov 26, and only to swap loaner trucks. When I asked for an update, I was told the truck had been back and forth to the installer, but no one could tell me what was wrong. On Dec 5, I contacted the supposed installer myself and found out they did not install the lift, did not sell the parts, and the only time they saw my truck was on Dec 3 for rubbing issues--repairs they recommended were denied by Friendly. I've been misled about who installed the lift, who worked on it, and what's actually wrong with my truck. After safety concerns, lack of transparency, and more than a month of service time in just 5 months of ownership, I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

I usually don't leave reviews but I was so appalled by my service I wanted to warn everyone. I've been going to this dealership almost for ~1 year for oil changes, never have had an issue, rather fast (most of the time). Recently I was having trouble starting my car so had a friend jump start it so I could go to the dealership. They came back 3-4 times telling me oh we think it's this, oh we know it's this now, sorry we think its this now... the made me pay for an entire new key fob ($350 yall) that I didn't even end up needing. They also promised since I paid for the key fob they said I needed and they realized I didn't (aka their mistake) I wouldn't pay for labor costs for the fob (that didn't happen, their 'discount' was half of the labor cost). Lastly, I asked for them to change my front windshield wipers, they said they did and I left and realized they didn't change one of them as they promised. I was there 4 hours while they kept making mistakes and charging me more for their mistakes. I hope this helps one of yall in future looking for last minute emergency care. read more

Dexter was a Great salesman friendly and certainly knew his way around. He followed up with us. Assisted in any and all questions we had about the 2025 Blazer RS, we eventually purchased. The bad. The finance manager was more than happy to assist us with the financing we chose. Although I believe he could've found us a better rate with our credit score, he did give us three options. On to the extended warranty. He advised us the warranty on the computer (5 of them) and the chips were for 12,000 miles or one year. We said no at first, but then after talking with my wife, we thought that one year was just too short for our liking. We signed up for the extended warranty which would cover the units longer. After the purchase and the weekend, we looked up the coverage of the warranty. The ONLY things covered by only one year is the tires. HE IS THE VERY TYPE OF PERSON TO KEEP ME AWAY IN THE FUTURE. Selling an extended warranty is and should be an option, but to outright LIE, in order to get the sale? If you have to lie to sell it, it's probably not worth it This is over the line for me personally and we will not be coming back nor will we ever recommend this dealership. We feel CHEATED. The first vehicle was brought in for what should have been a straightforward manifold repair. After several months, we were told it was ready, but upon arriving to pick it up, we immediately noticed new electrical issues and multiple warning lights--before we even left the lot , along with my front hood of my car's paint peeled off due to being out in the sun. As a result, we had to leave the vehicle there again so those issues could be addressed. That was in June 2024. It is now April 2025, and the vehicle is still sitting at your facility with no resolution in sight. On top of that, our second vehicle has also been at your location for just as long. We've repeatedly been told that the delay is due to a missing part, but it is difficult to understand how a part could be on backorder for nearly a year without any alternative solution being provided. At this point, our patience has worn thin. The lack of progress, updates, and accountability is unacceptable, especially when we have entrusted your team with two of our vehicles. We need clear answers, not vague timelines. I am requesting a full and immediate update on the status of both vehicles, an explanation for the extreme delay, and a realistic timeline for when we can expect them to be completed and returned. I purchased a used 2017 Corvette with32,000 miles on the car. 1 week after I purchased this 50,000 car the alternator went out. I called the dealership multiple times before anyone even replied to me. I finally got my salesman on the phone and someone that said he was the supervisor. I was told our service dept was closed for inventory. We will have to check on it Monday. I called and was told that since I did not buy their outrageous service plan, they could not help me. I am also a mechanic by trade so I asked that they just pay for the part and I would install it. I was told we are not just going to give you an alternator for free. This is the car my salesman said their expert corvette mechanics had gone over the car and everything was fine. In a last chance effort, I sent an email to the Sales manager, John Duran and he did not even have the decency to reply. I really liked this place until my last 2 visits. The last time I was there, I came in to get a new battery and an inspection. They let me get the inspection done after getting my new battery, and once I got to my car I found the paper that said fail. I went back inside and asked why I failed and they said it was because of my battery (even though I had just spent $400 buying a new one) and said I had to drive it for at least 15 days and then bring it back. 2 different people promised me I would not be charged for another inspection after I brought it back. Once I brought it back to get my inspection re-done, they tried charging me again because I didn't bring it back "within 2 weeks". I told them I was told I had to drive it for at least 15 days before bringing it back. He then went and talked to a manager and didn't charge me, but definitely tried. I also don't know why they let me get an inspection done the first time if they knew I was going to fail it. On both visits, I waited an hour and a half, nearly 2 hours (even with an appointment).
