Switched to TruForce because we weren't really happy with our old pest service and paid an arm and a leg! Now we are paying less with TruForce and getting personalized, professional service. I chose to get an email, a text and a phone call before they came out just so I wouldn't miss one. (I HATED when my old company would just show up and scare me half to death walking around the house!) TruForce calls, emails, and sends texts! They have a customer portal where you can see everything online - when they came, next service date (so I can put it on my calendar- no surprises), billing, technicians notes, and even a place to RATE your technician and add comments. I have to admit I doubted anyone actually looked at the rating or comments but I was totally wrong! They are really on top of their customer service! I asked in the comments if they had done a specific service for mosquitos and how would I know since I wasn't home? A customer service agent called within an hour to answer my question and make sure the service was to my satisfaction. Apparently the technician had put a hanger on my patio door letting me know they were there and what they did but I hadn't seen it. Oops! Now for a bit about the mosquito service. We had previously installed a costly mosquito spraying system a few years ago but it never really kept the mosquitos away. Total disappointment. When Dan asked if I was interested in trying their mosquito service I wasn't interested after spending so much money on our previous investment that failed to keep them away. Dan explained all about how their fog treatment worked, safe for kids and pets, safe for the environment, and he said it worked! I agreed to try it and see if he was correct. Even though they warned us we wouldn't see a significant drop in mosquitos until after the second service, we were pleasantly surprised at the decrease after just ONE treatment. We just had the second treatment and there are less and less! This might be just the thing to allow our family to enjoy our backyard without getting eaten alive or having to spray all kinds of repellant every time we go outside. Yuck! I hate all those chemicals! But this fog treatment is different! If you want a quality pest service with professional, friendly, knowledgeable technicians, call TruForce in Houston. Update: after posting my review Manager Tommy reached out And appologized for my negative experience. He asked if he could send out Jeff the exterminator same day to make the appointment and i agreed (I was not charged the initial fee for the visit which was a nice bonus!). Jeff came out and spent quite a bit of time dealing with my wasp nests and fire ants outside. He then came into the home and sprayed. We are several days out since the visit and so far NO ants have been seen. Jeff did a great job and completley changed my negative review for this company! Thanks for making things right! Im very disappointed with this company. They had outstanding reviews so I assumed things would have worked out better than it did. I called on Monday and did the paperwork for the contract and was told I would have an appointment on Wednesday morning and they would call 1 hour before they were to arrive. At 12:45pm I called to confirm they would still be coming and was told they were planning to now come in the afternoon and they would still be to my home before 5pm and they would call 1 hr before arriving. At 360pm I got a text stating my technician had an emergency and my appt was rescheduled for NEXT Monday! I called the office to ask what was going on and was told the technician got caught up in a protest and he couldnt leave. I cancelled my contract as I'm looking for a dependable company. read more

I have reviewed this company on two different technicians, Quinn and Tyler and like both guys and still stand by both guys are good guys who work to be sure the house regular maintenance is done to a good standard. HOWEVER the technician manager we had to deal with Jeff is a more disappointing story. We've recently had an infestation of rice weevils, something like that gets brought into the house with rice, grains or as in our case wild bird food. TruForce came out and treated one area one time and upon calling to let this company know I was seeing some in a completely unrelated, untreated area (these things fly) they couldn't seem to schedule anybody to get out here for a second treatment. After 4 phone calls and talking to the technical manager Jeff twice, they finally sent somebody over but never called to let me know what day and time they would be here so when I got a phone call that told me he was at my house of course I was not! I finally gave up read on the chemicals needed to treat the newly infested area and took care of the problem myself. This company is fine for regular maintenance but if you have anything out of the ordinary they can't seem to successfully treat the entire infestation. We will be canceling service with this company. It's always a disappointment when a company gets to big to give you decent customer service. read more

I gave TruForce a ring and they had a service hand out at my property within the afternoon. Will was the bomb. I would definitely request him. Hard working, concise, quick and personable; definitely the guy you want working on your house. He also has a dog, so he definitely relates with treatment with animals in the house. Their cost structure is pretty economical to alot of other pest control companies: ~$45 for the first visit (spray inside and out), ~$85 for a visit in about a month, and the same there on out, quarterly (alot of others like to come back every 2 months). Surely, I do not want the technician to be scrounging through their local dumpster, so I am giving 5 stars!! I am also impressed with how wise TruForce is...I write a 5-star review, which should ostensibly bring TruForce more business, their technician gets tipped, then I get to waste my time writing a 5-star review with zero compensation on my end! We had a pest control lady, a private practice, who took care of us for six years. In time she felt like family to us and was always mindful of the kiddo and allergies. She retired this year. I had mixed feelings about going with a large firm. So far, I'm glad we did. Their contract really encompassed all the things I got from our long-term bug lady, so I figured they knew what we needed and knew what they're doing. The price was competitive. So we said let's do it. Few days later and right on time, Anthony came to the house to do the initial treatment. I'm glad we got Anthony. He listened to our concerns, thought about them, and told us how he would treat the house and yard to handle what we needed. And he did. I was referred to TrueForce by my brother before my wife and I closed on our home. I made an appointment for the day we moved in and Quinn arrived within the specified window, which was an absolute relief. Quinn informed me of all the insects and pests that he was treating for and sprayed both inside and outside the home. With our home being a new build, he also placed mice traps in the garage. Everything was explained in detail and informed that we may see bugs about the house within the first few days due to the chemicals agitating them. We have not seen anymore bugs throughout the house and are very impressed by the results. However, it has been a little over 2 weeks and I have seen a few ants on the bathroom counter. Needless to say I was thrilled when I learned Anthony would be the tech that would be taking care of my initial service. Anthony was courteous, professional, and respected the safety of myself and my home. He stated exactly what he was going to do and what would happen after spraying. He checked the outside for insects, knocking down any nest he saw. He explained how the blue traps would work in the garage. A continued review on Truforce Pest control. Have been using them for over the past year, and they continue to impress. Had them back out today and our regular tech Will Loza had his new trainee Jamel Loza out on his second day. They made light work of the spiders, wasp nests and other unwanted critters I had missed doing some basic bug control I had done. They even found another Black Widow spider and took care of her and her new family about to hatch. Jamel handled the Texas heat like a champ and continued the great professionalism this company displays on every visit. I'm really enjoying my experience with tru force pest control. I was really skeptical at first when I met Rainer but coming on with you guys has been one of the best decisions I've made in a while. You guys have spotted out all my problem areas and continue to solve my pest problems every time you all are out. All the guys seem to work hard but there's one that sticks out and that's Mr. Marcell!! He did my initial service back in June I hadn't seen him for a while but he came back yesterday and did my quarterly treatment I believe. I called TruForce panicking on Monday night about the flea problem I got from taking my dog out to the dog park and it was 9 minute before their closing time. They asked if they can send someone over on Thursday which I am leaving town so that wouldn't work - they called back around 8-9 to tell me they could have someone over right away on Tuesday. Jeff came and helped reassure me that they would get rid of the flea and tick problem and that we wouldn't get it back. I even asked him about the over the counter sprays I got and if they would work for my car and my other apartment and he was extremely helpful. Wow! We had our first preventive, "flush out" upon moving in today. Our technician--Jaylan P--was extremely professional. He called in advance to confirm arrival. He made sure to answer all our questions and explain the products and process before beginning. After completing the exterior and interior service, he recalled what he was seeing and his findings.
