My friend and I got permanent bracelets here back in January, and we really loved them. Unfortunately, after only 2-3 months, both bracelets fell off during normal day-to-day activities. Because I now live in Washington, DC, and my friend lives in France, we were unable to return to the shop right away. But when we came back yesterday to ask whether a discount or partial refund might be possible, we were told that nothing could be done because we no longer had the broken bracelets. We were also told that while the bracelets are "permanent, they are not indestructible," which seemed like a really odd thing to say. The bracelets were beautiful, but it was super disappointing that they lasted only a few months before coming off through just ordinary wear. Given their marketing of permanent jewelry, we expected them to be more durable, and it honestly just feels like false advertising. We visited TBJ for our birthdays to get some permanent ankle bracelets. We were able to pick from a decent selection of chain types and adornments. We all got the same chain with butterfly adornments. It took no time at all. The ladies let you walk around a bit to see how it feels and make sure it hangs to your liking and then seal it. They also let us know that at anytime it breaks we can let them know and a clasp can be added. I've had it for a little over a week now and I have no complaints, it is showing no signs of tarnishing. Everyone was super friendly but I would have loved some more suggestions on popular chains, ideas for stacking with other jewelry (would've also been a good chance to upsell me because I had a free voucher!) and length suggestions. They did size me and confirmed that I liked the size but I didn't think about swelling / sleeping in it so I wish I would've got a little looser. love the options and availability!!! the girls were super helpful and had so much fun trying on the different chains. we stopped by on our last day of a bachelorette party to weld together a memory for the girls. everyone loved it!! i followed their page on instagram ever since i learned the bachlorette trip was going to take place in scottsdale. with every post leading to the trip, i was so impatiently eager to the visit and experience. the day finally came and it was everything i had hoped for! there's a display of chains where you get to choose ones you wanted to try and they wrote it on a ticket. next, you head over to the welding station and a worker would show you your options over your wrists. I wanted a permanent bracelet to remember this trip by and also added a charm that was embedded onto the bracelet so it wouldn't dangle. it was a tough choice on which chain to choose but it was a hard choice i was excited to make. after choosing the one, the worker welded it together with sparks and i was all set! My wife and I have gone here for years. We've had multiple pieces of jewelry put on the both of us and have even allowed our child to do so as well. The girls here have always been fun and inviting. They're quick, professional, and are typically fun to converse with. Value wise, it can be kind of pricey, but the jewelry is good quality and you can get them put back on for free if it's needed to be removed (like myself when I needed an MRI). I've been going here for 3 years now and this is the worst experience I have ever had. I've gone for numerous "happy hour" events and this one was hosted the worst. Walked in at 3:05 when the event started at 3 and waited until 5 pm to get my bracelet. The woman calling names was not coming into the secondary waiting room they had us in, we were unable to get drinks until we showed proof of purchase, no bathrooms, 1 couch to wait on and we were never told it would take 2 hours. After sitting for an hour and a half we made an online appointment and got seen faster than when we walked in. Events like that should be first come first serve or tell your customers what they're waiting for because you've now lost a previously very loyal customer. Online the appointment said it took 10 minutes. Once we got called up it took no more than 5 minutes for 2 people to get bracelets in my group of 2. While waiting we got to watch numerous people get ear piercings from their piercers who didn't change their gloves after touching dropped items, sneezing into their hands without changing their gloves. I watched the girl put on gloves then touch the bottom of her shoes and jeans then she began the piercing process. Their workers were too worried about posting pictures of their "work" and themselves than the actual job they should have been doing. Worst experience I've ever had here (i've been here at least 7 times) and I will not be back. Our 2 bracelets costed $160 on half off so originally $320 for a 5 minute service. read more

I had to get them removed somewhere else and the staff informed me that both earrings were completely tarnished. I truly do not recommend going to this place.
