My friend and I got permanent bracelets here back in January, and we really loved them. Unfortunately, after only 2-3 months, both bracelets fell off during normal day-to-day activities. Because I now live in Washington, DC, and my friend lives in France, we were unable to return to the shop right away. But when we came back yesterday to ask whether a discount or partial refund might be possible, we were told that nothing could be done because we no longer had the broken bracelets. We were also told that while the bracelets are "permanent, they are not indestructible," which seemed like a really odd thing to say. The bracelets were beautiful, but it was super disappointing that they lasted only a few months before coming off through just ordinary wear. We visited TBJ for our birthdays to get some permanent ankle bracelets. We were able to pick from a decent selection of chain types and adornments. We all got the same chain with butterfly adornments. It took no time at all. The ladies let you walk around a bit to see how it feels and make sure it hangs to your liking and then seal it. They also let us know that at anytime it breaks we can let them know and a clasp can be added. I've had it for a little over a week now and I have no complaints, it is showing no signs of tarnishing. love the options and availability!!! the girls were super helpful and had so much fun trying on the different chains. we stopped by on our last day of a bachelorette party to weld together a memory for the girls. everyone loved it!! i followed their page on instagram ever since i learned the bachlorette trip was going to take place in scottsdale. with every post leading to the trip, i was so impatiently eager to the visit and experience. the day finally came and it was everything i had hoped for! there's a display of chains where you get to choose ones you wanted to try and they wrote it on a ticket. next, you head over to the welding station and a worker would show you your options over your wrists. I wanted a permanent bracelet to remember this trip by and also added a charm that was embedded onto the bracelet so it wouldn't dangle. it was a tough choice on which chain to choose but it was a hard choice i was excited to make. after choosing the one, the worker welded it together with sparks and i was all set! Went to get my lobes pierced after 12 years. The piercer assured me she was using real gold as I'm allergic to fake gold or anything gold-plated. I was absolutely LIED to. After a month, my ears both were fully infected leading to the earrings getting embedded in my ear. I had to get them removed somewhere else and the staff informed me that both earrings were completely tarnished. I truly do not recommend going to this place. My wife and I have gone here for years. We've had multiple pieces of jewelry put on the both of us and have even allowed our child to do so as well. The girls here have always been fun and inviting. They're quick, professional, and are typically fun to converse with. Value wise, it can be kind of pricey, but the jewelry is good quality and you can get them put back on for free if it's needed to be removed (like myself when I needed an MRI). Went to truly blessed so my daughter and niece could get matching permanent bracelets. Well my nieces fell off within 15 min and we went back to fix it. Then it fell off AGAIN that evening. My daughters fell off today!! It wasn't even 24 hours since she got it. Horrible product - they just tell you whatever you want to hear and then you pay $45 for it and it breaks immediately. My daughter-in-law visited Truly Blessed on her visit to Scottsdale and I loved her bracelets so I asked for 2 bracelets to celebrate Mom's Day and my brand new life as Nana to my grandsons. I chose sterling silver, a chain that seems a bit more durable and charms with their initials. Going in...I was fully aware that I could catch a bracelet on something and break it and potentially lose it. It was still worth the price. We sized one to be a bit smaller and what I love is they stay on my arm in the position picture. They don't just fall into the small area of my wrist and sit there all day. Chains hanging at the wrist is how they get caught on something and break. My advice to avoid tarnishing with the gold filled chains...buy sterling silver and buy a more substantial chain. The dainty chains are going to break easier. You have to go in expecting that "life" isn't going to be your life with these delicate chains. Enjoy the experience or skip it and buy a regular bracelet. I'll be back to add to my wrist and for an anklet. read more
