It's not very often that I write a review or even comment on the performance of a vendor regardless of the outcome, good or bad... however, in this case I just have to write a review. I had scheduled an appointment with another moving company a week in advance to help me load up a 26 ft moving van. We confirmed the time that they would show up at 1:30pm on the scheduled date to help load up the van. I get a call the day before from this moving company wanting to know if they can show up at 8:30am instead of 1:30pm... I had told them at the time I initially scheduled the appointment that I would not be able to pick up the moving van until 1:00pm... HELLO!... They said, "okay, we'll be there at 1:30pm. I was able to pick up the moving van in plenty of time before our scheduled 1:30pm appointment... so i wait... at 2:00pm I call the moving company and they tell me that they're on their way and should be there momentarily... at 3:00pm I call again and they tell me they are "stuck in traffic due to some accident on 880" and that they will show up in about 20 to 30 minutes... are you kidding me... enough of the BS. Enough is enough... i get on my iPad and start searching for moving companies, call a few... all real nice, but booked for the day... the last company I called was Trusted Movers... Royi answers the phone and I explain my predicament to him. All I can say is that Royi was so gracious and so understanding and so willing to help... that he made it happen for us. His crew had just finished a job in the area... and done for the day... Royi had them at my house in about 15 minutes... now it's 4:00pm...then Royi showed up a few minutes later himself to make sure that we were being helped. Kudos to Royi's crew... the best. Very professional and loaded the 26 ft van like a jigsaw puzzle and made everything fit perfectly... that even the crew that I hire to unload the moving van kept commenting on how well the van was loaded. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRUSTED MOVERS if you want it done right the first time. BTW... at 5:15 pm still no movers from the previous company... so i figured I'd give them a call to see what's up. They said, they're truck broke down and that they should be there within the hour... UNBELIEVABLE... are these people for real... I don't want to mention the name of the moving company but their initials are BAY AREA MOVERS... buyer beware. read more

I have spent hours researching moving companies checking many places like the Better business bureau, department of transportation and other, the end result was confusing because I found several good companies which Trusted Movers was one of. I contacted 4 companies and had requested that they send someone to my home and provide us with an accurate quote; only one company refused and said that they don't offer in home estimate, great first impression... Scott was the main person I dealt with and he set up the home estimate between 9:00 to 10:00 on a Saturday. David from Trusted was the person that showed up in my home, he called me 30 minutes before and told me he will be there between 9:00 am to 9:15 am, he showed up exactly at 9:00 am. It took him about 35 minutes to complete the estimate and he was very informative and explained how the process works, he did point out several things that the other estimators did not and I am talking about important issues not stuff you can ignore. The quote I received from Trusted was somewhere in the middle but dealing with Scott and David was much easier and communicative than the other 2 companies and it was my gut feeling that made me choose Trusted Movers On the day of the move I had four movers (leader being Dominique) showing up and they started working and moving before I was done with the walk through, it was very calming to see that they were on top of their game; I mean it was just like watching ants working for the colony. They packed and loaded our San Francisco house in about 6 hours and the truck was on its way to Palo Alto, they unloaded the truck in about 3 hours and placed everything in place, they actually helped up take some items to a friend's house 3 miles away without charging us for it, I did tip them $100 each. The estimate I received by David was $1,466 and the actual cost was $1,379 not bad... Trusted Movers made my life a lot easier and they definitely deserve 5 stars. read more

I wish I could give this company 10 stars. This company strives to ensure excellent communication. They went over the details of our complicated move and gave options. Scott's phone calls to follow up were helpful since we were so busy packing. Domingo and his crew got everything loaded up safely and to the right place. They asked questions, clarified details, and are the most friendly people. They made a complicated move easy--and not just because they did all the work. Domingo suggested we load for the place first and add the items going to storage second at the end of the truck. This allowed us to save time by eliminating an unnecessary trip! I found it exhausting enough to just pack. What a relief it was to just sit around while they wrapped furniture, unassembled furniture and later reassemble them. That sort of thing is a day in itself. This gave my wife and I time to unpack at the new place without the exhaustion from simply moving stuff ourselves. To me, friends and family might make free movers, but once you use professionals--there's no going back! I will definitely be using them again... I know a lot of people say that, but I have a washer, dryer, frig, and 6 tall cabinets in my house still that we weren't ready to put into storage yet not to mention a small storage facility to empty out into the bigger one. Then in a couple of months, we'll definitely use them again once we purchase a bigger home. If you're moving stuff into storage, these guys know how to maximize your space! I was so worried about the storage unit being large enough. Once I saw Domingo and his team at work, they made it seem like I had hardly anything in the storage unit. Overall, an amazing job! I got a tip from a friend about using trusted movers for our moving service. He had rave reviews about them so I decided to give it a shot- especially since it was my first time going with professional movers I wanted to make sure I went with the right person. I emailed trusted movers for a quote the day before thanksgiving. They promptly responded the following day (on thanksgiving) letting me know they would call me the next day. Roy the moving consultant was very friendly and personable and gave me all the information I needed about the move and a quote. The quote was very reasonably priced, and after reviewing it via email I accepted. I scheduled a move for the following week without any issues. Trusted Movers was on top of their game when they came by for the move. They even called me to let me know their guys could come sooner if needed. Domingo the foreman was very cordial, and after showing what boxes and things needed to be moved the team quickly went through it( I must admit our place was a mess since other roomates were moving as well) but the Trusted Movers team was undeterred and moved everything as quickly as possible. I expected this move to be difficult since it required moving my boyfriends stuff from his house, then going to my house and moving out my stuff, and then finally to our new apartment where we would be moving in together - all places on the 2nd floor with no elevator. But Trusted Movers delivered swiftly and without any issues. They had originally quoted me 4 hours for the job but they did it all in 3 hours!!! So needless to say I am really happy with Trusted Movers. Fast, great service, and very well priced. I had zero confidence going in because Trusted Movers is the official mover for my apartment complex and I had to use them unless I wanted to pay for the move myself. I had to move because after just 60 days into the new apartment I got a 60 day notice that we had to move because they were remodeling. Oh great another move...so unhappy I called Trusted Movers to set my move date. Sammy answered my call, took my information. He is pleasant and professional. He worked to get my desired date and time set up and I hung up feeling a bit better, but the move was still to come. Sammy gave me a 2-5pm window for the moving crew to arrive on my move date. At 3pm that day I received a call from Tomas, saying he would be at my door in an hour. 45 minutes later he was there. Ok, so far so good. Tomas introduced me to the other crew members Rolando and Orjenio. We all went up, took a look at each room of my 2 bedroom apartment, showed them the bathroom and a case of water and they set to work. And work they did! Fast, efficient, careful. Minimal talking, just action. It was a hot afternoon, but they never complained or loafed. They wrapped, taped, boxed, moved, and grooved. They got it packed into the truck. Took a 10 minute break and drove across the complex. They packed by room. So there was very little need to direct them on the way back in. They got us set back up in no time. It sux bad to move but when you have a great moving crew like Tomas, Rolando, and Orjenio, it makes it so much easier. I think I caught a glimpse of what the bill was and I'll tell you it seemed really, really reasonable. Trusted Movers has professional equipment and staff. We chose Trusted Mover to move our home two weeks ago and I have to say the experience was outstanding!!! This was our second time ever using movers and the first time was a horrible experience, of course with a different company. They quoted us a cheap price so we decided to go with them but let me just say, you get what you pay for. Not only were they 3 hours late, but they sent 2 guys who were extremely slow and took hours to move our 2 bedroom apartment and ended up costing a lot more than expected. Trusted Mover was a breeze from the beginning. The Sales Rep Miranda was very sweet and easy to speak with. She gave us a realistic quote on the amount of time it was going to take and was very thorough about the whole process. The guys they sent were FANTASTIC! They arrived right within the time window they gave and even gave us a courtesy call 30 minutes in advance as requested. Domingo, Thomas and Sebastian are the absolute best! They were extremely professional and even fun to crack a few jokes with. These guys do not mess around, they came in and got things done. They were so careful with our belongings and VERY fast! All of our furniture was wrapped very secure, they stacked and loaded the truck very efficiently to make sure everything fit and was safe at the same time. We have a decent amount of furniture in our home and they only took about 4.5 hours to move our two bedroom apartment that took the other company 7! Outstanding! I will be using them again for any of my future moves. Moving?? Stress less?? Thats impossible. That was my mind set before I used trusted movers, they moved my items on Sunday morning. How is moving done in a stress less fashion you ask? I will tell you. I was planning my move about 4 weeks in advance because I wanted to make sure I secure myself with good movers and the date and time which were very important in my case since I haf to travel for business that same day. The search for my movers was a good learning experience, you would not believe how many shady characters there are trying to get your business. Anyhow, lucky there is yelp.com this had made my search a lot more efficient and easy. I contacted about 5 local movers and received only 4 quotes 1 company nnever called me back, their loss. As far as prices, trustef movers came in line and were a few dollars over the average, if you want good service you have to pay for it. As far as communications goes, roy the rep at trusted movers beat them all. He always answered my calls or return them in a timely manner, I felt he was always trying to find solutions and make this move as efficient and cost effective as possible, always friendly and nice. He was tthe most knowledgeable and explained the process in details. He wad the only rep that properly explained about insurance for my items during the moving process. Now about the crew, jesus and his crew were fantastic, they lived up to my expectations which were set by roy. They showed up on time were fast and efficient, did everything the right way and never complained or ignored my requests. After talking with Sammy for an estimate my gut feeling was right, this crew rocks! Chose this company for phase one of our move on very short notice (two days out) after scrolling my search results and they were the only company still open late enough for me to call. Read the reviews so felt good to book them even though the price was a bit more than I planned on spending for loading and unloading my already packed up 2bedroom apt into our new home 15 minutes away. They fit me in to the schedule after being very detailed as to the particulars of our items. Asked me to take pics and send them to verify with the crew that they would have enough time in the evening to complete my moving needs. Everything went great and smoothly. Due to the tight fit of the last minute scheduling Sammy called early in afternoon to confirm crew was on schedule. Tomas was lead of moving crew and called prior to arrival. They arrived on time and hustled from the moment they set foot in the door. The crew was outstanding and I am very appreciative of their professionalism and effort to provide great service. They wrapped the furniture and dressers. Provided mattress covers for beds and box springs. And disassembled and reassembled furniture. They were very considerate of my space. We had not covered the wood floors in the new home when they arrived and the crew carried every piece in and up the stairs by hand instead of using carts as to not damage the floors. Moving is no fun but Trusted movers made It much easier, I can literally say that these are the best movers I have ever hired. It was a well communicated process from start to finish, they always returned my calls at a reasonable time and my questions were never unanswered. The 3 wonderful movers (Daniel, Eugene and jose) showed up on time the day of the move and began working after their short introduction, they worked very hard, wwe're very courteous and friendly they wrapped all of our furniture with protective padding and took great carewhen they dis assembled our beds and baby crib also this was the first time that I have seen movers place some sort of a floor protection to avoid scratches and getting dirt, I have hired many movers in the past and none placed floor protection. At the delivery location which was a three story townhouse the guys worked as hard and not once dis they complain about the stairs or our annoying requests it was an absolute delight to work with them. When they were done with the move about 7 hours later ( estimate was for 8.5 hours) the lead guys did a final walk through to ensure that all the items were in place and that nothing was damaged. My wife and I were so pleased with the movers that after paying the final bill we tipped them $60 each, they were thrilled and on a side note they did not ask for a tip, all the movers I hired in the past had the nerve to come and ask for a tip I think It is rude the reason we gave the movers at trusted such a big tip is because they did a great job and did not ask for a tip Definitely a recommendable company read more

This was our first time using professional movers, we moved our 4 bedroom home from Sunnyvale to Palo Alto nd hired trusted movers to get the job done. since we never used professional moving services before we didn't know where to start or what to expect, we did much needed research on line and on yelp of course and let me tell you there are a lot of shady businesses out there. Only 3 companies. That welooked into offered to come out and give us an in home estimate, trusted movers was one of them. We contacted 6 moving companies and some said an in home estimate is not needed and quoted us 6 hours, does that sound reasonable to you? Didn't think so. Anyhow. Daniel. Did the on site for us and I am speech less such a nice, pleasant and patient person, he wad very knowledgeable and took his time to explain the move process in great details. On the day of the move we had 4 movers who showed up 8 am sharp, did a walk through and began working non stop until almost 2 pm where they took their lunch. Unfortunately I only remember 2 of the movers Moses and Jose, all 4 movers were such wonderful people to work with. They covered our brand new hardwood floors and carpets, protected and packed our items with care and patience. One can tell that they care about what they do. Being the first time using professional moving company I declare this move to be a great success. The move cost was exactly as estimated $1,645.00 and took 11 hours. I am no stranger to moving and my movers experiences over the years have been somewhat mixed. This time around it was truly a perfect move using trusted movers. My boyfriend and i moved in together and we needed to move his items from mountain view and my items from Menlo park to Millbrae. Luckily i was in charge of finding movers, if I had to leave it to my boyfriend he would pick up a couple of guys from Craigslist. I called several companies listed on yelp and got too much information. But I did find the people at trusted to be very honest, knowledgeable and professional, it was important for me to use professional movers because of my very very expensive flat screen and some irreplaceable oil paintings. The quote I received included moving both apartments into the new house, packaging my TV and my oil paintings and a few miscellaneous items I did not have the chance to pack. The movers arrived at 8:45 at my boyfriend's apartment and we're on their way to my place 1.5 hours later, they were super friendly and professional in their handling my items. I felt very comfortable with them and their work. It took them about 2.5 hours to pack and load my apartment, the off loading of the truck was much faster and they were very accommodating in placing our items were we wanted to. Although i kept asking them to move stuff around not once did they say no. The total cost was about $750.00 with tips and lunch, we both agreed it was money well spent. read more

What a great moving company, I used trusted movers on Saturday the 8th to move from a shared 2 bedroom apartment into my first time buy 2 bedroom condo in downtown. Daniel the main mover was superb! Such a great service provider this guy, very communicative and accommodating. Daniel and his moving crew arrived at my door step 8:00 am sharp, did a short walk through and started hustling and hauling my junk... Seriously my place was a mess not because of me bit my roommate and I am glad to be out of there. Ano how the movers did not complain even once about the mess and did their best to work around it and help me pack some leftover items into boxes. I ran out of boxes and they were kind enough to give me some free boxes. It took the movers about 2.5 hours to finish packing up their truck, I was shocked when I saw how much crap I had and how full the truck was. I will admit it, I am a hoarder! ! I need help... Once the movers arrived at the new place they conducted their walk through and start bringing my stuff into the new place. I told the guys my floors were just refinished and they were kind enough to place floor protection and they did not use any dollies to bring the items. They literally carried everything by hand, I didn't mind paying extra for the time but to make sure my floors are safe. I can't thank Daniel and his crew enough for the fantastic work they did for us. We had a 10 x 20 storage unit in a public storage in Sunnyvale and due to constructions going on at the facility we needed to move our items into another facility. I called a few moving companies from yelp and all came around the same cost per hour but Daniel from Trusted Movers was the only one who offered to come by the unit to do an inspection and make sure that he is giving us a more accurate estimate for the move cost. When I asked the other moving companies if they would come and do an inspection as well they said they don't and because it's a storage facility we should be fine. What is fine supposed to mean?? When Daniel came to the storage he pointed out things that if not addressed before the crew arrive issues will come up. On the day of the move Moses and his crew arrived at the scheduled time and began working non stop, these guys were like machines yet it was such a pleasure working with them, Moses was constantly communicating with me and we were actually having fun. The total cost came about $155.00 less than the quote I received from Daniel which was a surprise. Those $155 was given to the movers as a tip for the hard work they did. I used Trusted Movers for a move of our home. Given that moving is super stressful as it is, it is really nice to have professionals like Trusted Movers to do the move. From the very first phone call to the time the move was over, they were excellent. I talked to Sammy on the phone and he guided me on how long he thought the move would take to how big of a truck and how many movers it would take. I sent him photos of our rooms so that he could estimate the size of truck and I'm happy to say that everything fit in the truck. I liked that he was very thorough with giving contingency plans in case everything didn't fit. Sammy also called the day before the move to check up on whether we were ready. On the day of the move, they gave a two hour window (8am to 10am). The movers arrived at 8:30am. Domingo was the lead of the 4 person crew and the entire crew was very professional. Domingo clearly explained the paperwork and they then marked which items were not to be moved. We had no problems during the actual move - furniture was all wrapped well and nothing was damaged. They also wrapped the TV and monitors and put them in my van as I had discussed with Sammy on the phone. They have really good customer service - Sammy called the day after the move to make sure everything went well. The movers themselves - Domingo and his team were great. Mario and his Movers ROCK!!, i used trusted movers to help out moving our 3 bedroom home from Campbell to San Jose on may 3rd. I had scheduled ro move with Trusted back in April but our closing date kept delying and i had to change my date 3 times, the amazing part is that Daniel the owner which was the person assisting us never complained once or even suggested that we will have to pay anything for date changes. he was very patient with us and always did his best to accomodate us. We were so happy to finally close on our home and get the moving process going that we were excited about moving, weird ha, who likes moving?? on the day of the move Mario gave us 30 minuted heads up that him and his movers were coming, and as soon as the guys were done with the initial walk through they began worling non stop until they took lunch break, during the entire move the guys worked hard, did not waste any time and did all they could ro please us. incredible movers, no doubt. after 10.5 hours of almost non stop moving we were finally at our new home all settled in, all of our items arrived safely and the guys were more than happy to keep switching items while the boss (wife) kept changing her mind on where she wanted the furniture placed.
