I had to call them Friday and Saturday to get updates since they never called despite telling me they would. went there at 3:30pm Saturday ( close at 4 pm) and they had done NOTHING on my car! Purchased tires and have had a slow leak for months. Have taken the vehicle in to have it checked multiple times and leak continued after they said it was fixed. Took it in again and they told me they had to replace the valve stem and that stem replacement isn't done when new tires are installed. Vince stated that is normal practice at all shops. This is not true. Called Costco to verify. I'll be getting my tires at Costco from now on. read more

Recently took my vehicle here for new tires. I bought tires from tire rack and brought them in for an appointment on a Thursday. I was flexible and told the tech they could call me once it's completed. I was told "they" would do so once everything was done. This was the best part of my experience. I never received a call back once my vehicle was done and I was without my vehicle for 3 days (due to the next day being Good Friday and they were closed). Monday morning after the weekend, I arrived just after opening to pick up my vehicle. I told the tech I never received a call back and was without my vehicle for 3 days. I was told they had a trainee servicing my vehicle (guess he wasn't trained on the phones!) I also noticed the old worn tires but back in my vehicle. Why would I want 4 worn out tires back...? I told the tech I didn't want the tires and they disposed of them. The next day the TPMS indicator turned on in my vehicle. I called and spoke with a tech about the issue and was told nothing can be done. I repeated myself cause maybe I didn't explain it correctly but my concern was still ignored. Fast forward a week, while filling my tires up with air I noticed some lug nuts I had replaced were loose and looked stripped. I brought my vehicle back in and had the tech check my vehicle in the parking lot. He paused and then asked if I could leave my car so they can address some issues from my previous appointment, I said yes. I eventually received a call back saying they were just waiting to get new lug nuts for my vehicle. I called back later in the day to check on my vehicle and I was told the wrong lug nuts came in and my vehicle wouldn't be ready. I was once again without my vehicle! I think the lesson that needs to be learned here by Trust Tire and Auto Service, is to be better at listening to a customer's concerns and when in doubt invite the customer to come back in so they can look over the vehicle. At no point up until the end of this terrible experience did anyone take ownership. The trainee was being trained incorrectly and their worked was not being checked properly. Which is evident by the stripped lug nuts on my vehicle, which were the WRONG ONES! Hence them being stripped, COME ON! If the most basic thing such as cleaning the white substance off my rims is not done, I have no Trust in your ability to do a satisfactory job. I'm not sure I will be a returning customer. read more

Do Not TRUST this place! I went in to have some repairs done and an inspection before our road trip. One of the issues was the loud exhaust, so we wanted it fixed. We paid $700 for a proper repair, but soon after, we started hearing it get loud again. When we took it back in, they informed us that they had decided to do a quick patch on another part of the exhaust without our knowledge that it was even an issue. When I say patch I mean some JB Weld. They told us they thought it would hold. This place is unethical and only wants to make a quick buck by exploiting people who aren't mechanics. Avoid this place at all costs and do not have your car worked on here! Total repairs were over $2,800. So disappointed. I should have taken the advice of all the other poor reviews. read more

Great job on my oil change! Although, not happy with the $700. quote to replace my brakes. I was told my rotors & pads were in dire need of replacement & that the vehicle was dangerous to drive. Little do they know, I'm a gear head. The pads had ample material before worn out. II took the wheels off & measured the rotors with a pair of calipers. There was still plenty of material to allow resurfacing. I pulled all 4 rotors & had them turned for $36 bucks. The pads cost me $120.., I picked a premium set of pads which cost a bit more. So, I guess Goodyear wanted approximately $500. in labor for a 2 hour job. I had them change my oil because it was too cold outside for me!! read more

I have taken my car into Trust Tire & Auto Service many times for oil changes. More times then not, upon picking up my vehicle, the mechanics give me a long list of pricey "repairs" that need to be done in addition to my oil change. On occasion I have trusted them, however the more often it happened, the more skeptical I became. This last visit I brought my 2000 Camry in for an oil change and the mechanics told me my brakes were virtually non functioning, I had a locked caliper, and that my brake fluid was black and dirty. I currently live in Minneapolis and only stop here when I visit my family in Mequon. The mechanic told me that it would be "dangerous to drive back to Minneapolis" with the condition of my brakes, my locked caliper, and my dirty brake fluid. They wanted to charge me almost $800 to repair everything. I didn't feel anything wrong with my breaks so was very reluctant to spend that much money. I decided (nervously) not to do the repairs there. I then took my car into a good trustworthy shop in Minneapolis, Paul Williams Tire. I told them everything that Trust Tire and Auto Service said had to be done and they were shocked! Not only did they tell me that my brakes were fine, but they told me there is no way I have a locked caliper or dirty brake fluid!!! They even took me out to my car to show me my brake fluid and compared the color to NEW brake fluid. It was not black and dirty and looked virtually the SAME as new brake fluid!!!!! They explained everything to me very well and didn't charge me anything! I feel so lucky to have gone with my instincts, but also very upset and disgusted with Trust Tire & Auto Service, a company my family has given a lot of money to. I, nor my family in Mequon, will ever go to this place again. How can these people live with themselves for taking advantage of others? Good riddance Trust Tire & Auto Service! read more

What a great experience. I had the misfortune of driving over a screw on the way home from work. In a matter of blocks the alert on my car showed the psi dropping from 40 to 8 so I knew I had to get off the road. I happened upon Trust Tire and Auto and swung in hoping for the best. I don't always trust car places after having so many experiences with mechanics talking to me like I'm an idiot, despite knowing a fair bit about cars. That said, I'm glad I stopped here. It was right around 5pm and I explained what was happening with my tire. They did have other cars being worked on but they manage to squeeze me in to make sure that my tire didn't go completely flat and become irreparable. They patched me up and got me back on the road in under an hour. Super nice guys and their ability to squeeze me in really did keep me from needing to get a new tire. I'll be going back next time I need tires. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I went in because I had a coupon for an oil change for 19.99 but they charged an extra $5.00 because I needed a canister filter and then they added $2.65 for misc shop supplies in addition to 1.50 for oil disposal. The total for my 19.99 oil change came out to 30.77. There are specials running at Andrew Toyota frequently for oil changes at 19.95 (including now 11/2013) and they include a free car wash, the shop fee which IS the disposal fee is 0.51. The last time I went, the total came out to $21.61. What was even more disappointing was the service. They claimed that there was no way that the dealership's oil change cost $20 and said to call them up. I didn't want to wait so I said to forget it, paid, and told them that I wouldn't come back. They didn't seem to care. Don't bother with this place unless you want to pay more for less. read more

This auto service is not trustworthy at all. I brought in my Honda Pilot on a busy day. They charged me for an oil change but did not change the oil. I subsequently brought my car to a Tires Plus store and the service tech there confirmed that the oil was very dirty and had not been changed for quite a while. Maybe it's just one untrustworthy tech at this shop but I will never go back. read more

Brought my son's car in for overheating and engine noise(high squeal), and three weeks later, with many ins and outs of the service center, almost $1000 poorer, we were in no better shape. Turns out the head gasket was blown and warped by the heat. They tried to fix this with a sealant. Definitely no faith in them figuring things out. read more

Meh. Lack of follow through on several occasions with one particular job was enough to send me elsewhere. Upon the first appointment, the part ordered was incorrect. It was explained to me that the error was theirs and that they had called it in to the parts dealer incorrectly. I proceeded with other repairs. By the end of the day when it came time to pay my bill and reschedule the missed opportunity, the very same customer service rep. told me that parts dealer was to blame for the error. This excuse was unsolicited and prompted suspicion on my part. IMHO, their customer service skills are lacking and their communications on several occasions don't seem to add up to honest responses. Other Cons: The second hand smoke drifting in from the garage was wretched. It seemed to me that the owner manning the service desk couldn't look me in the eye which caused me to hesitate and reconsider his sincerity. Employees openly complaining or arguing with owner in the customer service area about pay and work hours. Enough already. This shop presents no value for me. read more

I've put Trust Tire to the test with several different repairs over the last year and each time I have been extremely happy with the services provided. I was a bit leery after seeing some of the reviews but when I got a flat tire down the road they were the logical choice and since then I have only used them whenever I need anything done on my 2005 Mini Cooper. A lot of service places will hem and haw about working on a Mini...but not Trust. They took each challenge in stride. The last repair I had them do they even went above and beyond to find a way to bring the cost down...something VERY rare at any business no less a car repair shop. They did the same when I got my oil changed...they went out of their way to find a coupon for me. Being a woman I always wonder if I'll get taken advantage of....however I had my dad, who knows a lot about cars, double check each suggestion and repair from Trust and he validated each one and he too was impressed with their work. If you're hesitant I'd give them a try. Their prices are fair, the employees are very nice and the shop is professional and clean. read more

I had my vehicle towed to this location to have the alternator replaced. Everyone was very polite and professional. I waited for two days to hear back from the garage. Apparently they don't have a policy of informing their customers when the job is done. When I got my invoice I noticed an additional $30 charge added to my bill under the category of "miscellaneous parts". I happen to know how to change an alternator and I know that there are no additional parts required in it's replacement with the exception of a belt, which was not changed. When I inquired about this I was told "We charge everyone this fee. It ranges from $16-30. It pays for our tools". I asked how my charge was $30 when all it takes is a socket wrench to change an alternator. He simply replied, "it's' what everyone gets charged. Sorry". He then hung up the phone. A "miscellaneous parts" fee implies the use of products placed in your vehicle. There should be an accurate description of what those products are. If none can be given, none should be charged. This is a sneaky way of taking additional money from customers who don't know any better. Not only have they lost a local customer, but I will be sure to let people know about my experience. read more

I randomly came across Trust Tire & Auto Service and even though they were very busy with customers who had appointments, they were super nice and helped me with what I needed at the right price. Before I knew it, I was safe and back on the road home. Not to mention, the man at the desk was friendly and personal (which I find to be more and more rare these days). Didn't feel pushed or belittled because I was a woman either. If I lived in town, this is absolutely where I would continue to take my car. THANK YOU! read more

Would have given them zero stars, but that isn t an option. Took my car there for an oil change...a $20 oil change. Also asked that they run diagnostics because the check engine light was on. They told me that was an additional $110. I said fine because I wanted it done before I left for the first vacation I have had in 5 years. I own a Volvo, and at the time, OWNED it for less than a week, as I was working three jobs to pay that off in addition to some other debt. I am not wealthy. Left it there in pristine condition at 9:15 AM. Called at 3:15 pm to check the status. Was told that they were just finishing it up. I said thank you and told them that I would be right over because I didn t want to keep them there late on a Saturday. They then told me that they aren t even charging me the $110.00 diagnostic charge. Great. I am in an incredible mood going into my vacation. I get to the place, pay, open the DRIVER side door and get in my car and drive away elated. I get back to my job, and finish out my day. As I am leaving my job, a co-worker comes up to me to point out what was cleverly hidden with a creative park job over at TRUST Tire and Auto. My passenger side was caved in, having obviously been backed into by another car. Of course, they are denying any responsibility whatsoever...saying that this would be like somebody hitting my car in a grocery store parking lot. Not realizing that when I go to a grocery store, I don t put my car in the care of the grocery store. This is not over, as I am consulting an attorney. Do NOT utilize this business. read more
