Honest and competent. I've been taking my cars here for 15 years. The cost is much fairer than the dealers.

If I do not get the check within a month, I'll report back and lower the rating again. UPDATE 6/9/25: Take 5 Corporate responded below, but it is a generic response. "Is there anything specific you could do to improve service at that location?, " was the disingenuous question. Yes, and it was all in my review. 1. Train the staff so that they are set up for success. 2. Allow them to make autonomous decisions and empower them to make corrections for a customer. This also comes with the need for increased supervision and auditing. 3. This shouldn't even need to be said, but give your staff customer service training. I am a pleasant customer and I had the f-bomb dropped on me. Can you imagine your staff would respond to someone being rude or unreasonable? I've given you plenty to go on, Take 5. The rest is up to you. Life is full of choices. REVIEW: I go to this location, store #569, regularly. Or I DID, until tonight. Never again! I had a $25 coupon. I get a full synthetic oil change. They also suggested I get the air filter changed, and the cost was $33.99, but they agreed to take something off--it ended up being $10 according to them. Fine, even though that is asinine for an air filter, I would have it done. They took my card and when the bill was $139.22, I asked about it. They said they rang the transaction but forgot to take the coupon. They claimed they at least took the $10 coupon off, but there is no indication of that on my receipt. They also said they could not cancel the transaction and re-enter it, nor could they provide a partial refund. The most ridiculous part was the question, "Is that okay?" Ummm, no. That is NOT okay, but what else could I do. So I called their corporate number and it just disconnects you. I tried leaving a message for the manager of the location in Cedarburg, but the mailbox is full. All in all, a frustrating experience. I called the shop location and asked the tech to have the manager (McKenzie) call me the next day when she was in. The tech was very nice, except that she forgot to hang up the phone before announcing to her coworker, "OMG, I f*cking hate...." I can only imagine what the end of that sentence was, but I am going to venture a guess and say it was probably aimed at ME. I have been nothing but pleasant, not demeaning anyone or ever so much as raising my voice. So I certainly did not deserve that. I never did get that call back from the manager, either.

I wanted to take a few days to cool off from the struggles that I've experienced with 5 Corners…read moreover the past 5 months. I've had nothing but headaches dealing with 5 Corners as an organization. Below are the facts of our experience and after I'll give my opinions. On December 21st, 2021 my 2014 Mercedes Sprinter was having issues. I called into 5 Corners to schedule a repair. Because we were working on outfitting the van for full time living, I was flexible on scheduling so we scheduled for January 13th, 2022. We dropped the van off on the 13th and waited to hear back from 5 Corners. After 7 days with no information, I called back into 5 Corners for an update. The update was, they haven't looked at the van yet but will as soon as they can. 5 days later I called back in and was assured they'd look at the van that day... 12 days of our van sitting in the parking lot even when I scheduled service almost a month in advance. After 12 days, they looked at our van and found a number of issues. The turbo needed to be replaced, DEF tank, DEF Tank heater, power steering pump, etc. This was a big job costing us close to 8 grand but thats life and we told them to proceed with the work. During the conversion the van barely left our driveway. Within a month, on my way to pick up supplies for the build in the van, I noticed the power steering was acting up again and a check engine light came on for emissions issues. Not ideal but I figured it would be prioritized and looked at by 5 corners. We once again scheduled for 2 weeks out and made sure not to drive the van to reduce any additional wear and tear on the van. Dropped the van off and waited to hear back from 5 Corners. 4 days later I called in as I had not received an update on the van. The update was "we haven't looked at the van yet". This was surprising as the work done on our van was by this garage. Because of their delays in getting us our van fixed, I pulled the van from their shop and went to a Mercedes dealership to get the van looked at. The Mercedes dealership diagnosed the power steering issue and determined that the power steering pump and power steering rack now needed to be replaced due to damage to the system costing us 3 grand... I naturally called into 5 Corners to see if there was anything they would do to help with this problem as they'd been the ones who installed my new power steering system. Randy said they'd follow up with Mercedes and get back to me. I never heard back from Randy. Remember, at this point we'd driven the van less than 200 miles since the repair and no other shop had looked at our vehicle until that point. With no response or support from 5 Corners, we moved forward with the repair from Mercedes. Repair was done and 3 more grand out of our pockets. After this work was done, we started to get emissions codes constantly. At this point, we've had the van in the shop ~7 times trying to diagnose these problems. Fast forward to this week, we brought the van back into a Mercedes dealership to address more emissions codes and a loud turbo. Turns our the source of the problem was when the DEF system was worked on by 5 corners, they ran the DEF fluid line touching my auxiliary diesel heater causing the line to melt. This repair cost us 800 dollars. The Mercedes dealership looked at our turbo and found that the air intake hose had been improperly installed and had come loose causing a seal to break loose breaking the teeth off of the fan intake, requiring us to fully replace the turbo. A 4 grand cost. I naturally called 5 Corners, to understand if they'd be helping us at all with the turbo as they were the last shop to work on our turbo. Remember, our van had been driven less than 500 miles since 5 Corners worked on it. Randy and Eric (the owner of the shop) got on the phone with me and didn't offer any support or compensation so another 4 grand is out of our pocket to replace a part they installed. I unfortunately got really upset with them and said things that I shouldn't have but 5 months of headaches and financial strain at the hands of 5 corners brought me to this point. Not only have we had to spend 8 grand to replace the work that they did on our van (Turbo, Power Steering System, and DEF fluid line) our van has been in the shop 10 times since they touched our vehicle. 10 times in 5 months. I cannot and will not suggest anyone take their vehicle to 5 corners. The lack of integrity for their work has really proven to me that they are not a business to deal with. In total we have spent 16 thousand dollars to repair systems that were originally supposed to cost 8 thousand dollars because of 5 corners inability to either do quality work or have integrity for the work they do.

We were in the last third of an 8,000+ mile RV retirement road trip when the mufflers decided to give up the ghost. They first fixed the RV enough for us to make a scheduled stop. I cannot recommend them highly enough for their quality of work and hospitality.

Our Ram truck was towed to the dealership where it sat for 5 days, and wasn't even looked at. I had it towed to Cedarburg Auto Repair, and Dennis looked at it the same day. He put in a new radiator, and fixed the heating system so that it finally worked, when 4 other mechanics could not. He is honest, with fair pricing, and went above and beyond to repair what needed to be repaired. I had to work with Dennis, and I know exactly nothing about fixing a truck. My husband was seriously ill, and could be of no help. I highly recommend this auto repair if you need service and are looking for honesty, fair pricing, and excellent workmanship.

Beware Of "Up-Selling"…read more We decided to try out Cedarburg Auto Safety Center for a $60 oil change. We were then asked to buy a tire rotation that was supposedly on sale for $20. Five minutes later, as the oil change was underway, we were asked to buy a new cabin filter for $94.53 plus fees and taxes. We said, "No." Soon after, they tried to sell an engine air filter for $57.52 plus taxes and fees. Again, we said "No." Five minutes later, the person at the desk went out to the repair bay and retrieved two rectangular filters: a cabin filter and an engine air filter. The filters they showed us weren't that soiled. In fact, any debris they contained looked like it could've been tapped out over a waste basket, or possibly blown away with compressed air. She continued to push: "If this is what your other place did, you need to talk with them." Again, we turned down the Cedarburg Auto Safety Center offer. In dealing with service operations, we learned long ago not to engage in up-sell strategies. Simple rule: "Purchase what you came to purchase -- nothing more." So, will we go back? Probably not.
