They are open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is my favorite go-to spot for pedicures because they do an excellent job of cleaning my nails, and that's the number one thing I look for when choosing the right pedicure place. They take their time and put great effort into each pedicure. As a former cosmetologist, I believe a pedicure should ideally last about 45 minutes or more, never less. If it's shorter than 45 minutes, the nail tech is likely prioritizing quantity over quality. And I'm all about quality, and this place consistently delivers an amazing experience. read more

Jean Ching had her own hair salon at 90 N King St for over 20 years and closed it. As of May 2021, Jean is renting a chair for owner of this shop, She prefers this and don't have to worry about elderly climbing up the stairs at her former building. Her language includes Cantonese, Mandairin, and English. My haircut was $14.00 which was previously $12.00. It still a good deal as compared to other places. read more

They were super busy when we went but still managed to squeeze the two of us in without it hindering the quality of their work. Very professional and experienced. You want a no nonsense, get in get out experience? This is your salon. The staff isn't rude. They're just straight to the point. This is China Town, for locals, not Waikiki for tourists. This is not my usual nail spot but when you have a nail emergency, you need to find the closest one. Since my office is closer to Chinatown, T's came to my Yelp search. It's located on River/ Beretania, across from the Chinese cultural plaza. It's a hair salon on one side and a nail salon on anothrler. This review is for the nail salon. Cleanliness is a key to any nail salon. As I walked in, the area is bright and clean. The rest of the service is pretty standard across the board. The lady was sweet and courteous. She speaks limited English but she tried to be conversational. She said the business has been around for 7 years. My only disappointment was that she didn't ask me all much to cut my nails so she went a bit shorter than my usual. They still look neat and nice and she did a thorough job cleaning and cutting my cuticles. I would return for more service. read more

This is for Nail Side: I've wandered several shops in Chinatown since I work down there, and this place is one of the cleanest ones around! The chairs are great and comfortable and I about fall asleep every time it starts to massage me. There is one lady there I have to say sucks, I can't remember her name, but the other lady, Tina is good and that's who I go only. I like this place a lot and when they first opened they were so busy I had to make reservations way ahead, now I always sneak in way before lunch and just enjoy my leg and foot massage for still a great price! To start off, they don't have many workers here, so they told me I had to wait 30 minutes, which actually came out to over an hour wait. I was pretty pissed. I came here for both a Pedicure & Manicure & when you get the combination, they give you 10% off which is nice. The total came out to $59, so $70 with tip. Which is decent, considering I got acrylic gel on my nails and design on my toes. The pedicure was good. They charged me separately since I got gel on my nails. So the pedicure alone came out to $20 plus $5 for two designs on my big toes. She only knew how to do flowers, which was kind of blah, because I wanted butterflies. But anyway, my toes came out very nice & the massage was good too. To the manicure - okay, so first I had to get fake tips (acrylic) and I also wanted gel - so it came out to $49 for them to do both. The lady that did my nails was very standoffish. I could tell she wanted to get the hell out of there. I was their last customer and throughout the process of doing my nails, she managed to cut me with the nail drill, and was so rough with the drill that at one point I said "ouch!" It was like she was trying to hurt me. She did not check whether the nails were even when she was cutting them, and the gel came out so uneven. To top it off, I pointed out what color I wanted, and SHE PUT THE WRONG COLOR ON MY NAILS! It was so unpleasant when I was getting my manicure. Wrong color, it hurt, and she was so unprofessional. Wow. Where to start with this review... My 10 year old and i decided to have a Girls Day while Dad and Brother went to the Pro Bowl. We love Chinatown and wanted to come down for lunch and then pedicures. After a yummy lunch at Downbeat Diner (a must try!), we came down to T's Hair 7 Nails after looking at reviews on Yelp. We chose T's for a couple of reasons: most places were closed on Sunday and the two reviews weren't terrible. When I called to ask about appointments, the gentleman didn't quite understand and automatically wrote me down for an appointment, I thought - what the heck? The looks of the Salon was very nice and open. The big massage chairs looked inviting. We were directed to choose a color and get in the chairs - very curtly, but that was fine with me. I wasn't looking for a best friend, just for someone to give me a good foot massage and color. The did talk us into mani/pedis even though I don't wear polish, I thought again - what the heck? First, the massage chairs did not work. Second, the massage and scrub didn't feel good at all. My girl just used this up and down motion over and over (?) until it hurt. A big concern of mine was that her tools did not look clean at all. She would grab one, use it one me and throw it back in her jar. And this wasn't a jar of cleaning solution - just a ceramic jar with a bunch of tools in it. She did a good job on the painting, so that made me happy. But when she was finished, she directed me to the manicure tables - without shoes!!! No little foamie slippers or anything. So I'm walking barefoot across this floor that has hair and who knows what else - this after she has used a razor on my feet!!! The manicure was the worst - my fingers feel like they went through a meat grinder. They are raw and cut up from the cuticle clippers. During the manicure, she received a phone call and talked during the whole thing. I was also instructed at one point to get up and go wash my hands. Once again - bare feet over to the sink. I think I was in such shock that I just did as I was told. My fingers are hurting right now from whatever she did to me! My daughter's nails looked nice and my toenails turned out, but you couldn't pay me to go back there. Even though it was $59 + tip for both of us, which is pretty cheap, I guess. I am just praying that my fingers will go back to normal and that isn't any permanent damage. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I went in to get my eye brows waxed and asked just for them to be "cleaned up a little" and asked for her to not "take too much." Needless to say, she did not exact opposite of what I asked. My eye brows were over waxed and over plucked, and are now super thin! When I informed the woman who did them that I was not pleased with how they turned out, she didn't care! Just went in for a mani pedi yesterday and I can say it is one of the most relaxing mani pedi experience I have ever had. The lady that did my nails did not talk much but she was very meticulous and gentle at the same time. You can just tell that she was really focused on what she was doing. Not the WORST place I've been to, but near the bottom of the middle. The wait was about 20 minutes when I went, but they told me that when I walked in. The lady who did my nails was friendly, and i liked that they fully soaked off the gel polish that was on my nails (most places short cut it and end up pretty much pulling or sanding it off and damaging my nail beds which is my biggest pet peeve). She also did well painting my nails. However, she was rough and I feel as though my cuticles aren't where they should be for my nails to be freshly manicured. Overall, if I need a manicure on a Sunday again, I'll come back, but if I can wait and go elsewhere, I will. read more

If I could, I would give it a 0. The pedicures are bleh, and they kept cutting my daughter's so called "ingrown nail" to the point that it was bleeding. A few days later her nail became infected! I was pissed. The acrylic nails barely lasted a week, and when we asked them to fix it she wanted to charge us for it! Are you serious???? Your piece of crap work couldn't even last a week and you have the nerve to charge us again??? I would never go back here again. I was in China town yesterday for some groceries with no plan for a Pedicure & Manicure when I walked by "T's Hair & Nails" and peeked in. That was all it took... To be there... was the perfect choice as I walked through the glass front door into a cool, clean, and pleasant atmosphere, and only to see a group of friendly people with smiling faces to greet me. I did not even have to wait long to find myself relaxing on that new and very comfortable chair. Something told me I was into something good! The pedicure was nice. Then, I got a flower and butterfly on each big toes. It never bothered me because the lady was not very fluent in English, but she made it all up with her pleasing attitude, great personality, and the way she massaged my feet. She was good! And the manicure: I told her the color I wanted, closed my eyes, and nearly fell asleep when she was done. Professionally! I'll definitely be back!
