I come here about once a week whether it's take out or dine in for my lunch break. I am a Thai food fiend and I love spice. I like the food here, and it's a block away from work which is why I return. The service however, is absolutely embarrassing. I have worked in the service industry for about 8 years and realize that when I am working, it is my job to give the customer any condiments they would like and any extra beverage they prefer. I do this with a smile on my face without throwing a fit. Every time I eat here, it doesn't matter who is serving me, the service is always so rude! Today, I wasn't asked if I would like anything to drink while making my order and the server quickly walked off before I could say anything. The next time he walked past me, I asked him for a Diet Coke and he rolled his eyes at me. Again, after the food was presented to me, I asked for soy sauce, chili paste and those little jalapenos that are usually presented with a thai dish. I thought the server was going to have an angry meltdown. He stormed away and then brought them back and rolled his eyes once again at me. I just started laughing because I was so shocked at how he reacted. I would happily fetch the items myself instead of feel bad for asking my server to do his job. I watched him serve the rest of the guests while I ate my food and with every request someone had, he had a rude look to return with their request. Last time I checked, it is his job to take care of guests. I guess the next time I go in there, I will just ask where things are located so that I can help myself. This place needs to clean house with their staff, and get people in there that are happy to have a job in this economy and want guests to return. read more

If you live in Santa monica don't order Thai Food take out here. We went to pick up our take out so that we would not have to wait for the 35 minute delivery lead time. We ordered chicken teriyaki - there was no teriyaki sauce, the chicken was dry and the broccoli was undercooked. We also ordered a thai green curry which should be called thai green soup - it was tasteless and watery. The only thing they got right was the white rice - well thats hard to cook badly. When we called to complain they wanted us to drive back and return the food. With a small child to put to bed that was not a possibility - nor should we be inconvenienced by poor service. We have eaten in the restaurant itself many times but won't be returning. One star for the rice. I am not typically a complainer but this experience was so appealing i had to share. read more

I LOVE T'S THAI DELIVERY!! I am hooked on the mussaman chicken curry, wonton soup and chicken fried rice. My guy enjoys the beef pad thai. I always get $5 off delivery coupons in val-pak so it never seems expensive. Whenever we want Thai and we're staying in we call T's! Back in the days when I worked in Santa Monica, I used to order take-outs from T's Thai about once a week. T's is neither the most tasty nor the most affordable lunch by my work. But it's only one block away and that saved me lots of time. Anyhow on the food, I didn't try many of their dishes and the items I usually ordered were Chicken Larb (Salad with ground chicken, lemony and spicy), stir fried pork with ginger and chicken green curry with green beans and eggplant. This is a place where you truly get what you pay for. I mean, the food is clean and simply prepared. No weird meats (which you know happens a lot at Thai and Chinese places) and the fact that you can order brown rice is nice. Their lunch specials run about $6 and you get a really watery soup and simple salad. But hey, it's a great cheap place to eat during lunch, and you can sit down for it! i've been waiting to check out this place since i moved to santa monica. since there was no other thai restaurants near by, as a thai food lover, i had to check out the place. from outside, the place didn't attract me at all. only a few people were dining and didn't look much welcoming. finally i got a chance to try with my husband. the experience was just "wow"! i can say it was one of the best thai food i have ever tasted. my husband and i ordered pad-see-u, panang curry, and thai bbq chicken. it was plenty of food for two of us unlike other places. usually the portion disappointed me very much. also ordered thai iced tea and iced coffee. i think they use cream instead of condensed milk for coffe though. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. but taking out a star because it was a bit pricey. most dishes were $9~12. i would definitely go back there. read more

the service is terrible. i tried to use a valpak coupon. an elderly guy (45-50yrs) i see there all the time waited my table. he wasn't very polite, nor very happy to use the coupon. the food is avg for vegetarian meals. I do like the tofu red curry. will update my review to 3 stars for the red curry. its the only dish i like here. the prices are very reasonable, and makes the dish worth that price. read more

This is our go-to Thai place in Santa Monica. It's not the best Thai food I've ever had but it's good nonetheless. The dishes have pretty large portions and consist of standard Thai fare: Yellow, Green, and Red coconut curry, Pad Thai, Spicy Thai noodles, Pad Se Ew, etc. The prices are reasonable. It's a little small, so seating might be difficult like during lunch hour (if it gets busy then...I wouldn't know...I work in Westwood). Also, it always seems chilly in there, so bring a sweater or puffer vest or whatever you like to wear. read more

I had their spicy thai noodle. I'm thai, so I had no idea what it was. It's actually pad kee mow. I enjoyed eating. However, I definitely have had it better. While I think I like Celadon Thai's food better, T's Thai has become my go-to Thai food place as it's within walking distance (and pretty fast delivery for those lazy days). I'm giving it 5 stars because the people that work there are nice and because at this point, my husband and I, after ordering some things that we didn't really care for - i.e., curry (too watery), have our meals own to a science: the chicken prik king an the cashew nut chicken. We both really like these dishes - they come with lots of veggies and the chicken is automatically white meat (I hate that assy dark meat you get all too often at other Thai food establishments). This has become my favorite Thai place in Los Angeles. I order delivery from here at least once a week and it's always CORRECT, hot and delicious. They have the best Thai soup in town. Their Tom Yum Gai is perfection, tons of flavor but not overpowering; I opt for this when I'm sick instead of traditional chicken soup. I also order their Tom Ka Gai which I love, I add a side of rice noodles with it to make it extra hearty. They offer free delivery over $15 and is usually here within 30 minutes. Keep in mind this place is pretty tiny. They have a pretty good lunch menu that's pretty cheap, but I always stick to ordering the Pad See Ew. It was def not the best, kinda soggy and they didn't use the Chinese broccoli but regular broccoli which was interesting. The food was ok, but probably not the best Thai I've had. The only thing that slightly resembled flavor was the panang curry but only because it was a curry and by default it has to have a curry taste but nothing else to it at all. I had the pleasure of coming to T's Thai with some co-workers this past week. There is no shortage of lunch options when you work near the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica but T's Thai definitely stands out from the pack. It is on par with (if not better than) my other Santa Monica Thai favorite, Bangkok West. T's Thai is a small, cozy, family run joint with fantastic lunch specials. Lunch specials come with a small salad with a delicious ginger dressing, a vegetable soup, and rice. I tried the Kung Pao and loved it - very spicy! Be sure to try the variety of condiments on the table. I can't wait to come back to try the famed Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. Check this place out! read more
