So the first thing you need to know is that they are ready to help you. When we got here this morning they were moderately busy but they handled the flow well. They were super efficient, I got my travel id at another location and I was there ALL DAY. Not wanting to go through that again I brought my wife here. Lord have mercy the difference! I lost my driver's license and needed to get a replacement. They offer extended hours at their new location that they relocated to. The office is smaller, but has a better feel; cozy. I have always walked in, without an appointment and have been taken care of. My average wait time has been 30 minutes. You can make appointments on their website LADIES FYI !!! if you need a license replacement you have to take a NEW PHOTO on the day of application. Everyone here has always been helpful and friendly. Their service fees are reasonable. Not having to go to the actual DMV is priceless. read more

I recommend TSI Title, although the business has both pros and cons. I will tell the stories of my two visits to put the pros and cons in context. I have used TSI's services twice, first to do a title transfer and second to get a Read ID. Title Transfer - I went to TSI with the seller. We did not have an appt. There were probably about 25 people in front of us but we were still out in about an hour. The actual transaction, after we got with an agent, took less than 10 minutes. Most importantly, I walked out with the title transfer complete and the other documents and plate showed up in the mail as expected. Real ID - I went to the AZ MDV website to get the list of documents that I needed. I made an appt this time. The appt was set for 4pm. I walked in about 3:50pm and I checked in when I walked in. Be sure to check in so they know you are there. I was called up to the counter about 4pm or maybe a few minutes after, basically on time. They checked my documents and scanned what they needed and took my picture for the new "license". The entire process took about 10 minutes and I was out the door by 4:20. By the way, if you are getting a Real Id and you have a flight in the near future know that TSI prints out a temporary Real ID that the TSA will (theoretically) accept at security. I have not tried it yet. My plan is to bring my AZ license and the temp Real ID. A few notes on the Real ID process, regardless of where you get it. The agent said that some of the CA birth certificates are not valid for a Real ID. I am not at all an expert on this but from what I understand, CA issues an original and a "provisional"(?) birth cert. I do not understand why there is a problem with CA birth certificates so I would allow extra time and maybe call the MDV if you have a CA birth certificate. There might be similar problems with other states. I was born in NY and had no problem with my birth certificate. So, with the context above, here are the pros and cons. CONS Almost all of my cons are related to the TSI website. The website really needs to be upgraded. It has that early 2000s beginning of the internet feel to it. I can get past the look of the website, personal opinion and so on, it's the functionality and especially lack of information that bothers me. The website needs to have a detailed list of the documents that you need to bring for each transaction and these details need to include items such as "some CA birth certificates might not be valid, here is how you can tell and what you can bring instead". I did not see this "CA birth certificate" issue mentioned on the AZ MDV website either. It is very annoying to have to take your best guess on which documents you need to bring, make an appt, show up on time, get in front of an agent and then find out that you don't have the correct document (as I said above, this did not happen to me). It is not TSI's fault that AZ or the federal govt does not accept some CA birth certificates but it would be great customer service if the TSI website would help by clearly stating which documents you need to bring, which ones are valid and which alternative documents can be substituted. To be fair to TSI, a business not clearly communicating what they need to get the job done is a systemic problem in the US, in my opinion. I have experienced this with all sorts of businesses and doctor's offices and medical professionals are the worst. The attitude seems to be to just show up and we will see what happens and if we don't have everything we need it's OK you can just make another appt (and still charge for the visit in the medical field). To me it seems that modern businesses have a lack of respect for their customer's (or patient's) time. Alright, enough of my rant and let me be clear that TSI is better than most, especially when you get to their office. Also, as others have pointed out, you can't get them on the phone. The voicemail is so full that they can't take new messages. I wouldn't even care about not getting them on the phone if I could find everything that I need on the website but as I said above that is not an option. The fees were $35 on top of the $25 MDV fees for a total of $60 and I have no problem paying that. SUMMARY: I recommend TSI , they were overall positive experiences, their people are nice and I would work with them again. However, I would be sure to do my own research to make sure that I bring the correct documents and I would absolutely make an appt. Last, TSI, please upgrade the website. I believe this would really set TSI above the competition. read more

Time saver! Stopped into to update my drivers license. Quick, convenient and ease process

I've used this company for years for title work, but I would not ever recommend going there for your kids driving test. Stay away from the bald guy, he just wants to take your $75. Claimed my son didn't come to a complete stop four out of five times. But, indicated that it happens a lot with electric cars. Maybe provide guidance beforehand? Or feedback after the first stop is missed? I hope they don't think we're coming back to spend 75 more dollars here for a re-test. Good luck. read more

I thought this would be a great and quicker alternative to obtaining my drivers license vs. the DMV. Easy yo make an appointment online, but if you have any questions prior-Forget it.nobody answers the phone, and you only get a voice mail answer that says "the mail box is full". Two days straight. Pretty poor way to run a business. I easily canceled my appointment online and will go to 1 Stop Title on Alma School. They answer the phone, and super helpful. read more

As much fun as it is going to the DMV, this place makes it much less awful. I made a same day appt (plenty of options for open time slots) for a travel ID and registration renewal and was in/out within 30 minutes. Their new location off Chandler Heights and Alma School is in an old bank with plenty of natural light, nice clean bathrooms, and a cold water cooler while you wait. It's the little things in life...Amiright?! Everyone I encountered was courteous and professional, which I don't always feel like I had the same experience in their previous location. Make sure you bring your current license and a birth certificate OR passport/passport card as well as a bank statement/phone bill/something with your current address on it to expedite the process. I went in again after another 20 days, took the picture one more time because it STILL had not come in the mail and they told me I had to retake my picture AGAIN. The man that helped me though was actually very nice and he told me they'd mail it to themselves and call me when it was ready. 2 of 3 three people on staff were rude and short with me and other clients there. (The two older people) One young guy there was helpful and actually nice. The older two were demanding customers produce a birth certificate and social security card like they worked for ICE. I happened to have my Passport and current license, so I was allowed to get a Travel ID. Picture on the ID when I got it in the mail was totally blown out overexposed. Most places like this are more pleasant than the DMV. This was worse than the DMV, with a slightly shorter wait time. I will choose a different office or company the next time. read more

Made a same day appt within 20 minutes and there were plenty of options available. Was greeted immediately and checked in. I did have to wait about 20 minutes past my appointment time but all was said and done timely and efficiently and way faster than I even expected. Spent a total of 40 minutes between waiting and finishing my Title transfer and new registration. Suzie provided great service and was extremely helpful, professional and friendly! Went to the Chandler Heights location with an appointment to renew my drivers license. Wait was minimal; the elderly lady that was processing us was nice enough but relied on magnifying glass to read all of the documents which increased the time. After that was the eye test which was fast enough but they had been having problems with the camera which continued for another 10-15 minutes. All in all, will probably go to MVA with appointment next time- not worth TSIs charges. read more

It helped that I had all of my paperwork ready to provide. She helped me with both of my appointments and I was out within 30 minutes or so. Fast and efficient business. The people here aren't super friendly but they are respectful of your time. I had an appointment so I got seen within 15 minutes and I arrived before my appointment time. I have all the documents needed for a state ID which made the process smoother. The cost was only $27.00 for a state ID. That's reasonable priced. I been here before to get a permit In 2020 and it was crowded. I didn't have an appointment but I still got seen pretty fast and the workers congratulated me! I love this dmv 3rd party site. I'm here for the same reasons as many others before me...to comment about the elderly woman employee that has no business working in a customer service role. I've been to this place 2x. She was unpleasant on both occasions. This time it was to get a Real ID. I made sure to bring the correct documentation and pulled it right from the ADOT website. SS card was not required. Just had to know your SS number. Sat down and the first question she asks is do you have your SS card. I replied that ADOT states it's not needed. Her reply was THATS NOT WHAT I ASKED. I ASKED IF YOU BROUGHT IT. I cannot believe with all the complaints they have about this cranky old woman she is still employed there. I suppose they feel because this is a business providing a convenient solution to the DMV they are doing you a favor and basic customer svc isn't necessary. And does the owner not realize that they could help 2x the clients if they replaced that rude old woman with someone that could read without a magnifying glass! And no, I'm not discriminating against the elderly. I'm discriminating against those elderly that are jerks and have a superiority complex because they know they can be jerks because you still need the service they offer. I'll also add that the first location was much larger and cleaner. This new place is smaller and a dump. Cheaper rent I guess. read more

New address is: 1010 E Chandler Heights Rd Chandler, AZ 85248 The folks here, from when I first needed their services 3 years ago, have always been on top of what's needed, taking the complication out of applications in the best way possible, and keeping a busy waiting room of people efficiently flowing and helped with what they needed. Given the sometimes extensive nature of the paperwork and processing needed and often lots of customer confusion, this is amazing - It's almost fun going in! Courteous, friendly and competent, May was so fast and smooth when she helped me, that before I could blink, my transaction was complete. I ended up complicating things by not having all my info in proper order, yet she and Suzie quickly and cheerfully figured out the best resolution, and I walked out stress free and extremely happy. Went to renew my driver's license. The camera wasn't working correctly, so had to go home and put on a different color top. Went back, and finally the camera worked. The woman who was taking care of the paperwork scanned in my documents to prove my address. Not given an apology about the camera. Received a notice in the mail a week later that my documents were not scanned, so I had to take another copy and go back. No effort was given to give me any kind of refund or discount for my troubles. Just got an all I can say is I'm sorry. Won't go back to this location. read more

I was looking for a place to update my license and passport with my new, married name. I checked Yelp for places nearby and found TSI. I called ahead of time to make sure that they could do those services. They could only do the drivers license, but I still needed it. I was able to make an appointment over the phone. Upon arrival, parking was available in the plaza. I was able to walk right in and not even stand in line. The guy helping me was so incredibly nice and upbeat, same guy as before. I wish I got his name to give him a shout out, perfect service. He told me to wait in another room and within a minute he was taking my paperwork and my photo. Altogether this process took under 10 minutes and I believe only cost about $27. It was the easiest experience ever. And, the most important part is that I got to avoid going to a DMV. On the way out, I stopped by a smoothie place next-door (review to come) and I was on my way. Easy, breezy, excellent service, affordable, and I got my license in the mail in a week. I had her death certificate and the emissions testing done, so Nylan was able to do the transfer in about 30 min and everything out the door was under $100. Best of all NO MVD LINES! Walked in shortly after they opened. I was not greeted upon arrival, and there is nothing posted that says please check-in, take a number, or anything that would otherwise "add" you to the list of those waiting. I sat down waiting to be acknowledged. A guy walked in a few minutes after me, he was greeted and added to the list. Now that I understood their process, I told the list making girl that I also needed to be added to that list. The upsetting part is that she still left the guy that came in after me in the same spot on the list. It didn't help when the guy didn't chime in with the expected "oh he was here first". I wish I could leave him a Yelp review for being a crappy human, but whatever. This place needs a door chime, or have signs posted so people don't get overlooked. read more

Terrible and waste of time. May be great for other services, but they should brush up on mvd requirements for drivers licenses (unless they mvd was wrong? But I'm thinking that's highly doubtful). As I tried to explain what we were there for, I was met with "this is not up for discussion" from a lady at her desk who never even looked up from her keyboard to as she spoke to me. If you want to have your time wasted, this is the place! I walked in and there were 5 employees--1 employee was helping 1 customer. After about 5 minutes someone took my name. I was the only person waiting for ten minutes. Then two separate customers walked in and got their business taken care of.
