My purpose here was simple. I had to return the license plate from our totaled vehicle in order to get the refund on the registration of the vehicle. The refund is not handled here, they are just an authorized location to return the plate. The guy behind the counter was very friendly, took the plate, and that was it. Now that I know this place is here, however, I can foresee coming here to handle some DMV related things instead of going way out of my way to one of the DMV offices and sitting around for 1/2 an hour (or more) waiting for my number to be called. read more

Good service! I was a walk in and needed to register my car. The employees are very kind-a little rushed because they have a lot to do and it was a Monday. Would have gave them 5 stars if there was more communication - the man that was helping me was literally helping at least two other people and so it wasn't great because he would be back and fourth between us. I leased a new car in California and drove it home to Arizona. I contacted TSI Title before flying to LA and met with Jane. She gave me her card and told me to have the dealer call her to arrange the proper papers to register the car. Once Jane received the papers she called me to come over and pay. She went over all the paperwork and told me all was in order. I am so grateful that I met Jane, she made the whole process easy breezy! read more

Just moved to the area and bought a car. Needed to get the title changed and register car in my name. Called to confirm this was the place to go rather than DMV (different state, different rules) and lady on phone was pleasant and assured me it was. No lines, friendly staff and got my plates on the same day. Spent a total of maybe 15min in there. Loved it! read more

I called about having my drivers license photo updated and they told me it would be a very easy quick process but said nothing about bringing an additional ID with my current drivers license. When I arrived at TSI, I told them I was sent an email from ADOT about updating my photo. I was told that they could not do it for me unless I also had a health insurance card, SS card, or birth certificate or EMPLOYEE NAME BADGE (!!!!) in addition to my drivers license. I offered my state issued fingerprint card as well as my state issues medical marijuana card and they all looked around at each other like nobody knew for sure and then told me no. Then I was told that I could go wait in line at the MVD and they will tell me the same thing. I went to my vehicle and pulled up the email from ADOT and it clearly stated that I only needed to bring my current drivers license. I went back in to renew my registration because I needed tags as well. I heard the employees in the back laughing about how mad people get about stupid things. I left immediately and drove to ASAP Title Services and was in and out within 3 minutes. The employees at TSI acted unprofessional and almost immature about their position as 'gatekeepers' of the MVD. I felt that I was told my option was to go wait at MVD or just shut up and deal with them. I will never recommend this company to anyone. read more

This place has a high employee turnover rate. The people working there never seem to know what they're doing. It's also very disorganized. They have 2 counters and I watch everyone walking in get the same confused look as to where they're supposed to go. If you go to the license counter for license related help they'll instantly challenge you whether you made an appointment. I've never heard one person say they did and it's not clear that you can make an appointment. They will then direct you to the other counter and wait for someone to happen to see you to write down your name on a piece of paper. After some time passes, a different employee picks up the piece of paper stares at it confused by the poor hand writing and tries to figure out who wrote the name so hopefully that person knows. This place is a live comedy show. Have to see it that way if you don't want to go mad. read more

Had to go in to get my license updated to a traveler's id. Set up an appointment and was in and out within 18 minutes. They immediately got with me and offered to help me. Appointment went by very quick and they were super communicative and sweet; and not only to me but other customers as well. Great help and great service! Horrible unclean facility. Only one of the staff was wearing a mask or gloves. There was also trash in the floor between the seats. Sat for over 2 hours. The first 20 min were waiting to sign in. They asked what were there for and I told them a drivers permit for my son. I tried to ask a question but he cut me off and asked the person behind me what they were there for. An hour and forty minutes later they called us up and I told them my son had taken the test online but we never received the email from mvd. He said this has been happening a lot due to their new system. He told me we would need to pay an additional $37 to have him take the test there and then outlined the documents we needed. Unfortunately we didn't have everything that was needed. I told him a sign or something up saying something up front when you sign in addressing the situation would be helpful and not waste customers time. I'd rather just to to MVD next time. read more

The DMV cancelled all driving tests so I called TSI and they were friendly and could get him in fast. They explained what to expect and items needed. We showed up and again, the staff was super friendly and smiled! That doesn't happen often at the DMV. I highly recommend using them vs the DMV...much easier, friendlier and quicker. read more

*Avoid like the plague* Went in on a Saturday to get 16 y/o my daughter her license. The website shows that they process licenses until 3:30 on Saturday. We arrived at 3:02, there is no way to sign-in or pull a number. We were ignored as the Angry, Bitter, Old Lady with the Bad Wig chatted up a couple about a recent sporting event. She finally asked us if we had been helped and did we have an appointment? No, we didn't have an appointment, as the website states walk-ins welcome. She informs us that they stop processing licenses at 3PM. She then claims that it is almost 4PM. I look at my phone, it is 3:27. Which makes it closer to 3PM and still before the cut-off on the website. The Angry, Bitter, Old Lady with the Bad Wig seemed to take joy in denying my very excited teenager her license. We stupidly returned on another Saturday. Guess who eventually greets us again? Angry, Bitter, Old Lady with the Bad Wig, who huffs, puffs and rolls her eyes that we did not have an appointment. Again the website list Walk-ins welcome at the top of the page. She then lies to my face and tells me that I need her birth certificate and ss card. Her smirk shows her enjoyment for turning us away. We go home, collect the documents and decided to go to a different 3rd party ADOT location. We go to 1 Stop Title & Registration Services by Skateland. They were super helpful. They even took her picture twice to make sure she liked it. All we needed was her permit as all the documentation used for her permit was on file with ADOT. read more

They are quick and easy to get into but not helpful. If you buy a vehicle private party and come in to get license, title, and registration they take your title but aren't much help getting you a new updated one. The site they reference doesn't offer Title Replacement as stated and is not intuitive on how to get it. This part was very frustrating and all they would give is a number with no help. read more

In and out in 10 minutes with new title, registration, and plates. Painless. Not many smiles but the lack of small talk keeps the process moving. I definitely recommend over the Department of Motor Vehicle. Only downside is that you cannot get your drivers license here. read more

This is NOT a satellite DMV, it is a private entity and requires an appointment and has a surcharge. I went here because it came up as a DMV after I get an emissions test for a car we just purchased and it was nearby. I was told that I'd have to wait but that they were making good progress getting through their list. I waited for over an hour and still was getting passed by by everyone coming in. Unfortunately, I no longer had time to make it to the DMV...on Friday before they closed. It would have been better if they had told me the wait was going to be quite long or that they couldn't take me. At least I could have made it to the DMV in time before the weekend. read more

If you are going for a permit make sure you get there by 430 because even though they are open until 6pm the one person that proctors the permit test leaves at 5pm and there are no exceptions...and they are unapologetic and rude about it. (we were there at 450)This is a privately run company and I would have expected them to be a tad more accommodating. "It's posted on the door sir, and I'm about to get up outa here"...annoying. SO EASY! I lost my license and needed a new picture to get a new one. I went to TSI and was done in 20 minutes. Fernando, the CSR who helped me, was kind and efficient. Everyone I saw working there was friendly and helpful. The place also wasn't crowded. Sure, the convenience fee is a little surprising but it's totally worth it for the convenience of not sitting at the MVD for hours and having to deal with too many unhappy people. I will never go to the MVD again if I can help it. It's TSI in Chandler for me from now on. read more

Son took the at home permit test and passed. Came to this location only to be told not they will not provide us the permit because the older lady did not want to do her job. Only one customer that was inside at the time, so there was no reason as to why they could not perform the service that they were hired to do read more

Had the best experience here with Fernando's help. My twin daughters came in for there driving permits. Even though it was an exciting time for them, I had warned them about wait times and employees who are overworked and sometimes not pleasant. This was NOT the case at TSI. Although the waiting room was full, they greeted us and gave instructions upon entering and our wait time was no more than 10-15 minutes. Fernando was so kind to and patient with my girls. I was very disappointed to find out office is open till 6pm but they don't take new customers past 4:30pm. Especially when the entire place was EMPTY upon arrival! Equally disappointed that when I called prior to arrival that cut off time information was not shared with me or I would not have attempted the visit. I showed up about 15 past and no exceptions made and was given an alternate location on Warner to visit. I work for an insurance office and have referred our insureds to TSI several times a week. I think I'll start to direct them to the Warner office moving forward. read more

We have now titled and registered 2 vehicles from out of state here, and done one new to the state license. The staff are extremely friendly, very knowledgeable and super helpful! My title and registration today took maybe 20 minutes from walking in to walking out, and there were already 2 people ahead of me. The woman who helped me is so very sweet and got everything done very quickly and correctly. Well worth every penny of the fee since this is nearby my home, in the short time it took to complete this transaction it would have taken me longer just to drive to the closest MVD, nevermind waiting forever to be helped. read more
