Spicy Lobster Ramen
Laura W.

I'm a big fan of lobster ramen but not everyone makes it the same. This is by far my favorite lobster ramen the portion was huge and had great favor! I can't wait to go back!

I have never been to a ramen restaurant so I have nothing to compare but our lunches were delicious. We had the chicken ramen, spicy miso ramen (medium heat) and Tantan ramen. There were lots of optional add-on items such as broccoli, bean sprouts etc. Our lunches were all wonderful with flavorful broth and very tender meat. The noodles were beautifully cooked, just slightly chewy. The medium spice in the spicy miso dish was too much for my spice loving husband. I tasted the black broth in the Tantan and wished I had gotten that even though I was enjoying my chicken ramen. Service was prompt and polite. This place was a wonderful intro to ramen! I suspect it will be hard to beat.

Aged tofu nigori sake and hand roll
Tess l.

Aged tofu was great slightly crispy. I love the dipping sauce! the Shrimp Kushiyaki are mushy but in a good way kind of tasted like dumplings, so much flavor. The spicy tuna hand roll tasted a little fishy but I liked it ! It's the seaweed wrap that gave it that flavor. I'm used to cut rolls. The lobster Ramadan is amazing. A lot of flavor the chicken Ramen with miso broth, I wish it was creamier. I would get this place a four-star because chicken Romans, my favorite didn't taste five stars but the lobster Rahman is one of the best Robin I ever had so I'll still give them a five star because of that. Quick reviews just for you

Hokkaido Coconut Ramen with tofu
Mariana C.

I ate at Tsuki Ramen because my usual spot was closed, it was great ramen! I ordered the Hokkaido coconut ramen, which was very good but wasn't quite what I had in mind for taste. There were also certain things in my ramen that were colder than other ingredients, which was off-putting. The broth was thick and tasted home-made which I loved and the tofu I added in was great. The service was good and the ramen was tasty so I would come again if my usual place was closed.

We were in the area to do some holiday shopping the nearby Costco and thought we'd give this a try. Very glad we stopped in because the food is very good. Venue: This restaurant is very easy to spot from Lindero Canyon Road. Access was a little awkward because it shares an entrance with the Residence Inn hotel. The indoor seating was spacious and accommodating for families. They also had an outdoor seating area that looked inviting and decorated. Food: Very good! I was a little shocked to see asian people working here because of the demographic of Westlake Village. Their seafood ramen was very good and noodles were cooked well. The broth was hot and flavorful. My children enjoyed the takoyaki, crab hand roll, and rice/curry. Staff: The waitress was very quick to take our orders and patient with us since the menu was so large. We did lunch on a Friday and were in and out in less than 1 hr. All in all, our first visit to Tsuki Ramen was excellent and we would love to come back.

Really enjoy this place. Always a decent crowd, but I've never had to wait. Tried many types of ramen here - especially like the spicy miso ramen. Their ginger salmon version is equally delicious. Very filling bowls. I'm normally stuffed when I leave. The people are all great as well and will offer great suggestions if you tell them what you like.

Shoyu and Seafood ramen

There aren't too many options for ramen in this area, but this looked promising! This restaurant is located in a plaza with a few other restaurants, right off the freeway. I appreciate how much seating they have, both indoor and outdoor. We were seated farther away from other parties which made me feel safer given worries over how easily the omicron variant spreads. Service was great and the ramen came out very quickly. We ordered the shoyu ramen and the seafood ramen. I really liked the broth for the seafood ramen as well as the variety of seafood they put in. The scallops were cooked perfectly! Not too overdone. The shoyu ramen was good, although the broth was a little too salty (to be expected though given the soy sauce).

No mayo in their spicy tuna mixture. Very dry. A lot of rice as you can see and little amount of tuna. $12

Ordering for Togo. The place looks nice, clean, and cool. Their outdoor seating area is pretty cozy. I'm sure the service will be good too. How's, the food that I ordered weren't good. Spicy tuna is chunky brittle and dry because they don't put mayonnaise in the mixture. The burger ramen, the ramen burger is pretty bland. Chicken is okay. Not what I hope to experience. I'll sit down next time to try the food again.

Spicy Tuna Donburi
Serena C.

Tasty ramen option in Westlake! I was really excited to see that there was a spot local to Ventura County that offered chicken ramen, as it's not typically as common. The chicken ramen was pretty good; a little less rich than I normally prefer, but still good nonetheless. My friend ordered the Hokkaido Coconut Ramen and it was super tasty and unique! Definitely would consider coming back here if I ever have a hankering for ramen. The only thing that fell a little short of our expectations was the spicy tuna donburi - it was a little plain (lack of diversity of ingredients in the bowl) and portion size was a smidge small. Other than that, the waitresses here were also super nice and patient with us. Great place and would recommend.

Service and interior were really great but the food itself was extremely disappointing…read more My partner and I tried the ribeye + beef brisket with kombu base & sukiyaki. The first thing that I was surprised by was that any base broth that wasn't effectively just water coated extra. The seaweed water base was pretty much flavorless and would only recommend for people looking for something more bland. The sukiyaki was also not amazing because it was more salty than sweet. Felt like too much soy sauce was added for my taste The briskets were pretty low grade for the price (imo). They were super tough to chew and the ribeye was only marginally better. The veggie platter that came with the order was pretty standard and nothing bad nor special about it. Seating arrangement is a bit awkward for larger groups. My group was 5 people and since it's all bar seating it was difficult to converse with everyone so I wouldn't recommend this spot for bigger groups Staff here were awesome. They were professional and took care of us well during our entire dining experience Overall, for the price and quality of food I wouldn't recommend this spot for folks who regularly have Shabu Shabu.

Nori Japanese Grill has clearly remained a local favorite and standing the test of time like that deserves a round of applause. I've driven by this spot on Thousand Oaks Boulevard so many times and after running errands one afternoon, I found myself starving and wanting something casual where I could get in and out quickly. The restaurant is super casual, and you order at the counter, but they take care of everything after that. Your food is brought right to your table, and honestly, I love this style of dining. You pay upfront, so once you're finished eating, you can simply head out whenever you're ready. It's perfect for a quick lunch. I was being a basic girl when I came and kept it simple with shrimp tempura and a California roll. The food here is solid, simple, and satisfying. I'm not here to tell you it's "the best sushi I've ever had" but it's just classic Japanese comfort food done well. The shrimp tempura was perfectly crispy and I liked the tempura side sauce for dipping. The california roll was no frills but tasty. For about $25 after tip, I got a drink, a sushi roll, and shrimp tempura, which honestly isn't bad in today's economy. It definitely beats grabbing fast food or eating at the same old boring chain restaurants. If you find yourself in Thousand Oaks looking for a quick, satisfying lunch, stop by and support this longtime local staple. It definitely hit the spot!
