    Desert bar items...

Well now... atypical Chinese buffet... Really nothing new that can't see anywhere else... I tried the black pepper chicken, small breaded pieces, not over cooked... krab casserole, big chunks, plenty of cheese and scallions, fairly fresh... Korean chicken, pepper flakes, long cut onions and green peppers, chewy chicken with not so much Korean flavor because of the onion and green pepper... Rice noodles with scrambled egg and onions, tender, not real hot, should have stirred from bottom but not bad... Wonton soup, tasted flour broth from the wonton even after adding some soy sauce... Pot stickers, fairly thin dough, cooked properly, just weren't too hot, meat was good... Sushi was okay, at least the rice was fresh, yellow tail (I think) was a bit chewy, tuna was fresh...Deserts were the standard Chinese cookies and cakes, sugar buns, single serve ice cream... Sugar bun was actually a highlight... Service was Johnny on the spot for water refills and table cleanup... Floor was slightly slippery, everywhere I walked... Bathroom was clean... 13 and change for the lunch... overall, meh... I ate some Chinese food...

Yum!!! Pretty much everything I tried was really good. I filled up on the crispy pepper chicken, green beans, and potstickers. Also tried the lo mein, fried wontons with a sweet cream cheese, and the spinach and cheese casserole. All was very good. The place was packed but was running smoothly. We would definitely go again if we come back to the area.

    Classic American'ized mega-bar offerings.

All the "mile-long buffet" classics of an American'ized Chinese mega-bar. Loads of over-breaded, fried finger foods like pre-packaged shrimp and chicky nuggeys, "fried" spring rolls (why?), classic egg rolls, fried bananas, dumplin's and empty puffs. The chicken dishes didn't have much flavor, but the sweet & sour pork was tasty. The hot vegetable selection was limited to green beans and some sautéed mushrooms. The salad selection was well organized and had a huge variety of toppings and very fresh fruit. The sushi bar was cranking our gas station-style portions with gooey rice and dried out proteins - maybe on a busier night the offerings are more fresh. The hibachi grill was the only real highlight - proteins included shrimp, sliced beef, chicken and pork with lots of veggies to mix in. Pro-Tip: there are tiny, sweet scallops located at the end of the hibachi bar, hidden between the sprouts and jalapeños, away from the other proteins - so, pace yourself, Grasshopper. The hibachi jockey forgot to add any spicy seasoning to my plate, but was kind enough to place it back on the grill for a re-fire.

It came highly suggested by the host of the beach house, as well as all the great reviews we saw online. This not a quick sit, eat, and be on your way type of restaurant, it's a long standing, very popular spot, and even getting their early, we still had a about a 45 minute wait. But we were able to get drinks, and take them out to enjoy by the water while we waited for our table. Because of the heat, they even had a cooler by the front door with free bottled water for guests to enjoy while waiting. Once seated, the waitress was very attentive, checking on us regularly, keeping the drinks coming and getting out order entered, and out to us pretty quickly. Not being a big seafood eater, I decided to give their meatloaf a try. It was fantastic, as were the mash potatoes and green beans it was served with. For desert, we got smores, which they brought out a flames, along with graham crackers, Hershey bars, and marshmallows to make them at your table. Overall, a fun experience, tasty food, and great atmosphere. It's a bit on the pricey side, but I'd say that's expected for a quality restaurant in a beach town. It's not tourist trap pricey, but you get what you pay for, which in this case is good quality food, decent portions! I'd go back on another visit, and would recommend to others.

The night before we tried to get in, the wait was an hour and a half. Overall the place was great! Place was really Clean, smelled good, and was nice and cool. The outdoor waiting area was nice with a little dock in the water, covered/shaded seating, rocking chairs and even a bag set. Food was mostly on point too! Fried green maters could have been cooked a little longer (still a bit crunchy for my liking), breading on the pork chops didn't stick as well to the meat as it could, mashed potato's were FIRE, and the seafood trio with rice and beans was nice. Beer was super cold, staff were nice, and bathrooms were clean. If I were in the area again I would go again.

Good selection of local brews. We started with the Calabrian Hummus ($11) and it was a generous serving and my bride really liked the pita chips. Aqua announces itself quietly, and even our brief misstep on arrival felt intentional an elegant sign gently redirecting us around back, where we later realized there's a convenient entrance directly across from the parking lot. A small discovery we tucked away for our next visit. From the moment we stepped inside, the hospitality set the tone. The host greeted us with genuine enthusiasm and an ease that made it clear he knew exactly why we were there. His warmth felt celebratory without being performative, just right. We were led to our table and introduced to Iesha, whose presence defined the evening. Iesha guided us through the menu with confidence and care, highlighting a thoughtful anniversary tradition: a complimentary glass of champagne or crème brûlée. We happily chose both. She struck that elusive balance of attentiveness and restraint present when needed, graciously invisible when not allowing the evening to unfold at its own pace. Our table sampled a range of the menu. The rare curry-seared local tuna arrived with curry riced cauliflower and traditional accompaniments unexpected in flavor but satisfying nonetheless. The The special for that evening, was rich and comforting. Even the simplest order, the kids' shrimp and fries was met with enthusiasm from our youngest diner, always a good sign. It's the kind of place that feels special without trying too hard a reliable choice for marking a meaningful moment. And when you go, do yourself a favor and ask for Iesha. She's the kind of server who turns a good dinner into a memorable one.
