Didn't enjoy my experience i scheduled a couples spa day however when we went for our appointment we were separated until completely separated areas. When I asked they said we could not be in the same area. Instead I was next to someone who didn't stop talking the whole time I was there not a moment of silence. Also the person who was preforming the massage did nothing for about 20 minutes while she just let the water run. I been to other places where it's none stop massaging/and head treatments not here. The consultation was informative, the products used were explained in detail, and the pictures from the little scalp camera was impressive. The head, shoulder, arm massage was relaxing - beautiful room, comfy bed, closet to put my stuff, great experience in there. I came in for an appointment for a Premium Scalp Bubble Detox appointment, and was helped by Christine. The main takeaway is that the scalp treatment definitely worked. My hair the next time I washed it had a curl pattern that I hadnt seen in a very long time due to my dry and built up scalp. The issue really was her "bedside manner" so to speak. She was rather brusque and rough. She made me feel bad about the state of my scalp, and continuously tried to upsell me and make me feel bad about my scalp so that I would come back. I mentioned that I was from out of town and wouldn't be able to come back, and that was awkward as hell. She then began to dry my hair without putting any heat protectant on it, and I had to ask. She asked what I wanted in the style, and proceeded to dry my hair completely flat. I asked her to put come curls in my hair, and she did... but barely. I had to insist that she at least put some hairspray in my hair. I was confused because when I came in, another client was getting a full blowout with curls and all. When I checked out, she tried to insist that I booked a much more expensive treatment and made it awkward when I insisted that I had booked the cheaper option ( I even had to pull up my confirmation email). I still walked out of there having spent $245, which included a 15% tip. The treatment was effective, but the experience wasn't great. read more
