Royal tea boba

Small owned and AUTHENTIC drinks!!! If you're looking to try boba OUT OF THIS WORLD!! I've sincerely never tried it that good and the owner did share its "grandma" recipe! The best!!!

Can I see your TT

Stands for "Tasty Tea" or "Tepid Tapioca", or perhaps "Tremendous T***ies" depending who I come here with. I was wrong about this place. It turns out they actually have the best bubble tea in the Richmond area - which honestly isn't saying very much considering the standard around here - but it's still pretty damn good and service is really nice as well. Come and give them a try if you like Boba, because you might be thrilled by their milk tea and turned on by their lemon black tea like I was. So they sometimes aren't open when they should be, but your mother is always open so there's that. But really, I wonder what TT stands for. Totally Tubular? Tasty Tea? Tittilating Treats? Tushy Tasting? Oh wait, the last one is something else never mind.

Where was this when I was here for school? Glad I was able to stopped by. I got the mango tea with bubbles and it tasted pretty good. Definitely will try again when in the area.

We waited 50 minutes in the store for bubble tea and our order was wrong. there potatoes were amazing though and i also liked there french fries.

Tarp Boba! First time getting boba and I love boba now! Its delicious and sweet definitely worth it!

The drink was delicious! it was my first time getting boba and being at this place so it was a great experience. I was with my friends and most of us never been there so we told the owner we're new to this place so he was telling us about his business and giving us information about boba and the tapioca before we ordered so we know what we are gettin. He gave me and my friend samples before we actually bought the drinks which I thought was really considerate of him so if we didn't like the drinks we wouldn't have waisted our money. So the samples were really helpful I got Taro boba because it was popular and it looked good and it was really good it has like this vanilla taste to it and it's really sweet for all those sweet lovers like me! This experience was a 10/10 the area is very comfortable and feels like home which is also nice! Would definitely go again, If you go here you'll love it!

The service was excellent, but the bubble tea was lackluster. The boba was tough and had very little flavor, and the tea itself didn't pack much of a punch. There wasn't anywhere to sit, and the atmosphere was not very inviting. However, the store is very close to VCUs campus, so it is convenient if you're looking for a quick pick me up!

For the past 8 years that I've lived in Richmond, TT Lounge was one of the only bubble tea places here. A couple places have come and gone. I've recently tried the newer chain bubble tea places, but am still never happy. TT Lounge has always been my favorite. I love their vast selection of teas and slushes. You can combine flavors, make milk teas into slushes, or any other combination. The staff is very accommodating. They can be a little rude at times, but I just think they're more straight forward, so I don't mind it. My favorite things here are -Thai Tea slush -mango slush -royal milk tea, -and my boyfriend's favorite Strawberry mango slush. We get all of these with boba (tapioca balls). Of any bubble tea place i've ever tried, the boba here is my favorite with consistency and flavor.

Very nice people, very personable and they are very accommodating to your order unlike the chain establishment like Kung Fu tea, Teado, etc.

Hands down my favorite tea place in Richmond. They offer a plethora of slushie flavors. Also had a really nice ambience.

All drinks here are served in disposable single-use plastic cups. Environmentally unacceptable.

I would totally order from them again. I couldn't get out today and did an online order. I look forward to checking them out in person and being able to experience the shop ambiance. I had a pretty good experience from service to the quality of the menu items that I got. There were 4 staff members that were there taking and making orders. Even though I came in at a busy time, I didn't have very long to wait until I got my drink order. I grabbed a strawberry magic stick, an ube bun and a pineapple bun along with a mango orange tea. The strawberry magic stick and the pineapple bun were delectable and the ube bun was perfect. Ube isn't very sweet, and I'm glad that this cafe stayed true to the ube flavor instead of adding a lot of sugar or altering the actual taste! The mango orange tea perfectly pared with the pastries! They have bottled drinks and cakes as well, but I didn't get to try them! They have a handful of tables and chairs inside, and they had quite a bit of people in there. It seems like they are a fave spot for locals. Some customers were just hanging out and some had laptops out, so they might be a good spot to do some work, too. They also have some merch on shelves (plushies and cups) if you're interested in that kind of thing. Definitely recommend if you're craving some treats!

Came here to get a breakfast pastry while in the area. Brecotea is a Korean inspired bakery that…read morealso has hot and cold beverages, breads, cakes, and savory sandwiches as well. The ambiance was clean and orderly. Upon entering, you grab a serving tray lined with parchment and some tongs. The items are in a glass enclosed display that you have to open and place your selections on your tray for purchase. I settled on the pistachio cream filled pecan pastry, the almond twist, and strawberry shortcake. The beverage menu was extensive: matcha, flavored teas, cocoa, espresso/coffee, and more. We were greeted by pleasant staff at checkout and our orders placed in a parchment type bag for take out. They also have seating inside. The pastries were just sweet enough without being overly sweet, which I like. The pistachio cream was a perfect compliment to the pecan encrusted pastry. The almond twist was both flaky and crunchy with the sliced almonds on top, and the strawberry shortcake had layers of real strawberries, whipped topping and yellow cake that was moist. All were fresh. All in all, a great place to stop by for a morning pastry treat and tea/coffee while in the area,

Calming spot to grab a treat, get some work done/journal, or catch up with friends in an aesthetic and modern cafe. Ordered the paradise tea with mango and avocado. I loved the textures and layers of flavors. The drink was filling and lasted me a while, not watery but refreshing. The mango tasted fresh and avocado creamy. I haven't tried the pastries at this location, but have at their other Richmond cafe. Great cakes and buns made fresh in-house. Easy to find parking at the lot outside. Service is pretty quick.
