I was taught to round up in math class. 4.5 fo'sho, but the food here is about as close to Vietnamese food I loved in Uptown Chicago. Basic menu, but solid across the board. The restaurant should put up current menu pricing and dishes. Some of what I've seen isn't available now. Well worth the trip regardless. Don't expect to be wowed by the decor. Amazing and fresh food! The owner took the time to go over different items and suggested a few dishes. She was very friendly and was 100% spot on with the items we got. I grew up in rural Central California with loads of Vietnamese immigrants and had the great fortune to have become familiar with the loads of great flavors these folks brought with them. Moving to Florida has been kind of disappointing on the Asian food front but I am happy to say that I have found a spot with great Vietnamese fare today. The folks here are very friendly and warm, serve very fantastic food for an incredibly good price. I think I disappointed them by asking if I could substitute rice for noodles in my pho (no offense intended, I just don't like noodles for whatever reason)(I don't even eat Italian pasta) but they accommodated me and when the pho showed up my husband took the spoon out of my hand and declared it the best broth he's ever had. I was second in and instantly in foodie heaven. These folks have got it dialed-in. Tu Do Deli has All The Great Aromatics in All The Good And Simple Food. They have a seriously simple concept with a smallish menu executed well. My husband had the pork banh mi served on a crispy roll (delicious he said) and we both tried each other's food and it definitely did not disappoint. Side note: Curious about the difference between West Coast and East Coast banh mi - on the West Coast it's always served on tiny, skinny French rolls and here it's on full-sized French rolls. We will absolutely be back. As former West Coasters used to really great fare from various Asian cultures we were thrilled to discover this gem. Yay! read more

I have been eying this little place for a couple of months, since I first discovered it, finally the time was right and I was able to go in and pick up several of their dishes. We had 5 different dishes.. They were all amazing, very fresh ingredients, all cooked to perfection, very crisp and flavorful, their House Pho is to die for, the Ground pork Pho amazing and the crab cake Pho was incredible , also tried the grilled pork vermicelli , also amazing. So the food is amazing , but what makes them stand out even more, is the warmth and care they demonstrate to their customers, I had the opportunity to have a briexh chat with them, and absolutely loved them, the lady even happily offered and helped me carry my items to the car. This is a small and family owned restaurant in a strip shopped center with approximately 7 tables. The service was prompt and personal as the owner took care of us. My husband and I ordered chicken pho and it was DELICIOUS! The best tasting broth; fragrant, not salty and greaseless. The chicken meat was chunks of chicken breast only. The portion was huge! We met the owners who are lovely, they've had the restaurant for 3 years. Most of the customers were Vietnamese, it seems to be the go to spot for the local Vietnamese community. Hello Wonderful People! My name is David. I'd like to share with you my first time experience eating Vietnamese food. I will be honest with you I've no previous history in regards to eating Vietnamese food, but still would like to share with you my own experience with Tu Do Deli. My best friend Frankie, & I had been in the area today, & had decided to have ourselves an early lunch. We had earlier ran into a young woman, and ask her if she could recommend a nice place to get a bite of food. She had recommended The Tu Do DelI. We had made her aware that we both would have no Idea what to choose on a Vietnamese food menu. We explained that we wanted something free of dairy products at this time. She quickly recommended a Vietnamese dish by the name (Pho). She explained that the dish would be made with a fresh, rich beef stock, and would also include Eye Round, Brisket, Chicken, Meatballs Bean sprouts. Etc.. The young Woman explained that this particular dish would "feel familiar, homey, and comfortable" to the pallet. We both decided to check out the Tu Do Deli, and drove there. Once there we immediately ordered her suggestion. My friend, and I were not disappointed at all. We both came home, and immediately began to combine all of the fresh ingredients that were purchased. All freshly prepared, & neatly bagged for a simple at home quick reheat, and combine for our first at home Vietnamese meal. I must admit it made me feel like a competent person in the kitchen for the first time. I who seldom cook, & mostly microwave. Combining these wonderful neatly pre-organized, mostly pre-cooked ingredients together, & going from stove top to the dinner table in less than 30 minutes was wonderful, and gave me a nice feeling of accomplishment in the kitchen for the first time. The suggestion was truly appreciated in the way we both enjoyed, and savored the food. It was not only delicious, but extremely fresh, ,& easy to warm up and prepare. For me, this was a huge accomplishment. Let me be honest, & put it this way, I am best known for one dish (gourmet burnt water.) Sad, but true. Okay I admit that I'm a crummy cook, but just the same crummy cooks need their nourishment, & to eat too. LOL This unassuming hidden Gem by the name Tu Du Deli will be included in my eat out, or eat in menu collection. This wonderful place made a less than enjoyable day. Feel awful lot better for me personally. I thank the Tu Du Deli for making our day feel special in a positive way. We needed it today. Before I close the review I'd like to take the time to mention the three delightful, & helpful people who each were patient, and kind enough to guide, Frankie, and I through our first time experience eating Vietnamese food. Hands down the best pho I've had in south Florida! This is the combo pho and the flavors are outstanding. The broth has a wonderful deep flavor and the portions are a good size.
