First of all. This place can get filled, especially on Sunday after church-so you may have to wait if you have a large party. My family loves this place and if I ever try to tale them somewhere else, they will let mw know it wasnt as good as Lumberjacks. The food is great! Good sized portions, and many options. There are also specials available. What makes this restaurant our go-to choice, is the friendly service. We always feel welcome and valued. The steak breakfast is the best we've had anywhere. Very first time trying this place. I am giving it 2 stars only because my server was friendly. I ordered the brioche french toast combo. Everything was cold with the exception of my eggs which were not much better. The butter didn't melt on the french toast, the bacon was cold. First impressions are lasting, I won't be recommending or going back. read more

The coffee is the best around! And the mugs are so cute and a good size the waitresses are always super sweet and accommodating and so is the manager every time that we check out they're usually up there greeting people and asking how the food was. We are so happy that they opened until dinner time because we were so upset when they closed mid afternoon and we wanted it for dinner lol read more

One of my favorite places to get breakfast, priced are fair and the portions are big and oh do delicious, staff is always friendly with fast service , on the tvs you can normally find lumberjack competitions. Went in for breakfast on Labor Day. The restaurant was packed! We were seated quickly. Our waitress was amazing! She was fast, friendly and efficient (Jay). Our order didn't take long once placed. We ordered the axman's sampler and the meat lovers skillet. Both were delicious! The sampler had a cinnamon roll French toast which had enough cinnamon to taste. The pancakes were sweet but good. The skillet had cubed potatoes, ham, bacon, and sausage as well as two eggs. The skillet came with cheese as well but just the right amount. The coffee had great flavor too! The service at Lumberjacks was amazing (per usual). My reason for only giving three stars is for the food. I've come to Lumberjacks many times in the past because they were the only place to do home fries correctly. Their potatoes had a bell pepper and onion mix which made it (in my opinion) a true home fries. Today I was served red skinned potatoes with no pepper and onion mixture but also no seasoning. My server told me that many people complained about the vegetables and seasoning level in the past so Lumberjacks removed them both from the potatoes. This was very disappointing because my potatoes were not only bland but burned (as you can see in the photo). I may come back and try some other menu items but sadly it won't be the potatoes. read more

My brother was in town and he wanted to go to have breakfast somewhere in North Las Vegas so I suggested Lumberjacks. As far as ambience goes, it gives off low budget diner, that needs to be renovated. Now the servers were definitely friendly and provided lots of suggestions as far as the menu. Onto the food... I personally had the Southwest skillet and it was average, more potatoes than anything else. The guacamole tasted a little water down as if they added some sort of salsa to it and everything needed more seasoning. If you're looking for a quick bite and something local in the north Las Vegas area then you might wanna try this place out, but for me I don't know if I will be going back again. read more

My wife and I have went here a few times and for the most part have been satisfied with our meals. It definitely seems to mimic the Black Bear Diner aestetic in which I'm not a huge fan of that particular franchise but....that would be another review of its own. In the occasions we've been there, we've had dinner a few times and breakfast. I suspect they are more known for their breakfasts. I've had their Big Jack's Skillet. I've found it to be flavorful, somewhat ample, and cooked right to enjoy. The only thing I thought was odd was....who serves 1 slice of toast cut in half as opposed to 2 slices?? This is the first place I've come to in my whole life that did this. Especially when the motto is you get lumberjack portions when you eat here....in some cases it may be true.....others, it seems portions are served on bigger plates. Wife and I have had their fish and chips a couple times and NY steak (my apologies, not pictured). Both have been hit or miss. Apparently, depends on who's cooking in the back. One instance I had to return a plate of fish and chips due to food being a little undercooked and then was told that was from the head cook. Holy moly.... I mean, all in all, not a bad spot. Places have their on and off days. Hopefully, more on than off. I did find that their service is really good and they are absolutely attentive. The price point is really reasonable, too. I will be back to try out some of their other menu items. I hear some of their dessert items are to die for....I just haven't gotten that far yet! 3.5 stars. Cheers! read more

My family and I decided to enjoy and nice quiet evening here on a Thursday around 6pm. We had 10 in our group. It was very slow,therefore we were greeted easily and taken care of with no major issue. The only reason I gave 4 star is due to the lack of seating for a larger group and the mix up of how we wanted our burgers cooked. There were two main tables in the middle of the restaurant, we would have liked to sit face to face at the same table. Understanding that not all restaurants are available to do so. However we made it work! The service was very caring, and really quick. We ordered,and I don't even think it took 15 min for all 10 of us to receive our food. Half the table got western burgers, which were amazing . And other half got breakfast foods. Aside from some of us receiving the wrong temperature of burger this food was satisfying. Infact I quoted I'll take this over dennys and ihop any-day. Pancakes were huge, bigger than my face! Fries and potatoes are cooked/seasoned well. Some of the employees were even curious to ask about our family. And I enjoy when people actually express themselves or are curious enough to ask questions! First and last time. The two stars is for cleanliness and the service with a smile. The food tasted like tv dinners. My fish was over cooked and my wife found a hair in her pot roast and she said that the gravy wasn't good and the vegetables weren't cooked well. The server apologized profusely and we paid our full bill with a smile. (It happens) I still would not recommend this place. It does explain why there were so few cars there at supper time. My family and I devoured our plates. The food we ordered was largely portioned and delicious. I got the garden omelette with a side of country potatoes and was not surprised with how stuffed I got. The amount of cheddar cheese was perfect and the potatoes had a nice crisp yet soft in the middle. I took a couple bites of a pancake which was made with sweet cream and that easily could have been split between 3 people. My dad got the chicken fried steak and although I didn't taste it, it was gone within minutes. The breakfast altogether had zero complaints and came out within about 15/20 minutes. I would recommend coming here with friends or family. The wait can be long depending on the day but definitely worth it. My family were lucky to only wait a couple minutes as we came at the end of the morning. Next time, we might even get one the pies displayed in the windows at the front. read more
