We all know what we like and prefer. For me, Opi polish works best on my nails. So I always make sure to ask before going in. Some lady where convinced me that they had many options after a few back and forth that I'm specific about the polish brand. I arrived after a 25 min drive to 5 OPI polish. As I tried them on my nails she says, not to put the polish on ... I thanked her for her time and walked out. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! Avoid this place!! I went in for a dip on a Sunday and they put a color on 3 of my nails which I expressed I did not like. They told me- verbatim "that's too bad. We dipped, now you have to keep it!" I was angry, understandably I thought, so they told me they'd put a gel coat over the top instead of redipping my nails. I expressed concern that the gel would just peel off as it typically does on my nails and I was reassured that because it wasn't on my physical nail, it wouldn't peel. I returned a day later with two of my nails having peeled and they offered to repaint them. I didn't think repainting was an option because I was afraid they would just peel off again and I asked them to redip this time. They told me they would charge me a full $70 to redip my fingers because it was another service and "it wasn't their fault I didn't like the color." Then they said if I wasn't happy with that arrangement, I could just leave. I'm shocked and appalled at the lack of customer service and lack of quality of their performance. An absolute waste of $70. Your money is much better spent somewhere else where the staff might be friendly and the quality of products might last longer than 12 hours. SO outrageously disappointed and dissatisfied. Please be sure to avoid this place and warn your friends as well!!​ read more

Hit and miss service at best. Made an appointment to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure, so that I could relax and enjoy it on my day off. It was not relaxing. They worked on my pedicure at the same time they started my gel manicure, while I was in the message chair, trying to relax. Kind of hard to do when they are doing a sloppy manicure at the same time. They didn't clean up my cuticles or do a good job trimming dry skin. There was extra top coat and white from the French manicure polish too, which was not cleaned up. The same guy did my pedicure polish, and it looks like a child did it. I pointed out several places that looked horrible , and despite trying to fix them, only made them worse. Because they did them at the same time, my pedicure took much longer to dry, and they gave me a flimsy pair of flip flops to wear home, desp that I had sandals. Normally, I get the pedicure part first, then the manicure, so there is enough time for my toes to dry. There was no reason my appointment today should have been done the way it was. The cost for both today was $105, and both look messy and not done right. I mentioned all of this when I paid, and they still did nothing. Also, they don't have posted that there is a steep fee to pay by credit card. There is a cash machine, but it charges an even bigger fee. read more

Super nice, new, clean salon. My friend and I made an easy to book appointment and they were ready for us on time. We both splurged and upgraded our pedicures. I got the cucumber spa pedicure ($46), that was seriously luxurious. I've never had a pedicure last as long and done as well in terms of exfoliating and moisturizing. My friend got the organic spa pedicure ($50) and loved it. The most impressive part was how friendly the staff were and the very clean salon. Will definitely be returning. read more

After waiting for 20 minutes, and after them taking walk-ins, they came up to us and sent us home saying they did not have time for our appointment because they made a mistake booking. I will never go back. I got my nails done twice at this location and now have fungus on 4 of my nails. They noticed my thumb had a fungus and did not remove the gel like I asked. Very disappointing. I went to another nail salon and they informed me of the nail damage as well as offer suggestions. If there was an option for zero stars that would be my preference. read more

This salon is very beautiful when you walk in. I left with mediocre nails. The very moment you get in, they begin gluing on the tips. No nail looking remover unless you have old nail polish on, and your cuticles will be utterly ignored. This bothered me because I do not consider the pushing back and cutting of cuticles a high standard. My nail technician left me to tend to other matters at least three times. She was very nice, but very quick to paint my nails and I had to point out, multiple times, the parts of the nail not painted. My nails did not look bad, and were somewhat even. Very clean. Lady hardly spoke English so it was difficult to ask her anything. I got a pearl pedicure which was $46 but I didn't smell it so I wish I would have done the basic pedicure for $36. Granted, I was there for an hour and she massages me legs twice and each arm for about 3min each. I am 39weeks pregnant and tried to communicate I want my feet rubbed but couldn't due to her little English. She barely rubbed my feet but rather focused on my legs when applying the scrub and lotion. The massage chairs were nice and overall a good experience but $46 was quite spendy for what I got. The salon is quite nice and they have a good selection of nail polish, gel, powder, and regular. It is also pretty large with probably at least a dozen people working (this was a Wednesday afternoon/evening). Unfortunately, I cannot not recommend this salon due to a poor nail technician and bad customer service. I went to Tu Nails for the first time for a pedicure and a dip powder manicure. My pedicure looked fine though she barely spent any time exfoliating or otherwise cleaning up my feet. Unfortunately, the dip powder manicure looked terrible. I choose a light nail color and it looked like there were little bubbles throughout. I noticed it immediately and inquired about it. She said that it would be better after additional coats, buffing, and top coat. I asked about it again when it did not appear to be getting better but she assured me the buffing and top coat would smooth things out. It did not. I was also confused because there did not seem to be a manicure portion of the service. She filed my nails thoroughly but did not even push back my cuticles, much less trim them. While she was removing the harden powder from around my skin she kept nipping my skin and eventually I just had to ask her to stop. At the end she called her manager over, acknowledging the unevenness of the color. The manager did offer to redo my nails but at that point, I just wanted to leave, it was dinner time, and I had several sore spots on my fingers. After I declined, the manager charged me the full $91 for the service ($50 for the dip powder manicure, $37 for the pedicure- their base option, plus $4 to use my debit card). I have mixed feelings. I loved my pedicure, my nail tech was Awesome, did a great job. I did not like that I had to wait for her to finish doing her own mini pedicure on herself before she could start on me, and as we were getting started she was on a video call with someone. I don't like to give bad reviews, as a walk-in, I'll gladly wait for other customers, but that was just not a great first impression. The pedicure was great, she did a great job, massage was awesome, salon is beautiful. Online the price for my pedicure was $46, but I opted for gel polish, so my new total was $66.... It was not very busy when i went (1:30 on a Saturday) they had plenty of parking outside the building which was nice. Do not go here. I hadn't gotten my nails done all summer and was really excited to treat myself. I just wanted a gel polish. They immediately started harassing me to do a pedicure. After saying 'No' several times I was approached by the manager stating "we can do your toes same time as nails". The hassling here is out of control. They did not respect my first answer or my 15th 'NO'. Then the person doing my nails kept commenting on how sweaty I was even after explaining I had just come from hot yoga. Then they didn't do anything about it even after I asked for a fan. It was to the point of rudeness. Then the lady didn't know how to do a cat eye decoration. After being hassled and disrespected I had had enough I asked to have the polish removed. The lady buffed my nails so hard it took off layers and now they're rough and uneven. I also asked for a round tip. She gave me round/square. She also burned by thumb when removing the polish by putting too much acetone and tinfoil over my thumb. Then I was going to pay base price. I asked if they still honored the 20% off coupon that's listed on yelp. The manager said they hadn't since they first opened two years ago. I simply told her I'm not paying for this. They were pushy, rude, and didn't provide anything I asked for. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. My nails looked better going in than they did coming out. read more

I came here on a late Tuesday afternoon for a pedicure before a trip to Miami. I loved the decor! The dark colors made it very relaxing. I ordered the $37 Peppermint pedicure, and Linda was my salon specialist. She was FANTASTIC!!! She took her time, and put effort into everything she did. The leg massages lasted for ten minutes! I highly recommend this place. I live in Mpls, but I'd drive here again for my salon needs.
