We were promptly seated and greeted my our waitress, Mary. She was very attentive and knows the menu. She explained every dish and made excellent recommendations. We all started out with an Aperol Spritz, because what says Italy more than a spritz!?! We ordered a few appetizers, artichoke, squash and asparagus. The squash was unique. It had pickled summer squash, a vegetable that I never considered pickling. Simply delicious. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and the sauce really enhanced it. Great side dish. I did not try the artichoke, but my wife and daughter both said they were amazing. For mains, I ordered the Aragosta fra Diavolo, my wife the Cappelletti and my daughters the Carbonara. All were delicious. The fra diavolo had a nice light kick of heat and loaded with lobster tail. Excellent dish. I highly recommend Shewolf. It's a phenomenal restaurant that takes pride in their food, service and the whole experience.

First, the place is so welcoming. Several different rooms as well as the outside patio, which has bocce ball. It was too warm & humid for us, so we sat inside at a table near the bar. The servers were all very friendly; it seemed a different person brought each course. We had the bread service and calamari for an appetizer. The bread and herb butter were very good, and I understand that it does cost the restaurant to serve it, but $7 seemed like a lot to me. I also enjoyed the calamari. I had the pasta Bolognese (they had some other name for it), which is one of my favorite kinds of pasta. This did not disappoint. I loved the super wide papardelle noodles (also a favorite!) and the small scoop of cheese (burrata, maybe?) on top. My sister had the mushroom pizza (also with a different name). I got the mushroom Detroit-style pizza and absolutely loved it. The crust was beautifully crispy, the toppings tasted fresh, and the whole thing had that rich, satisfying quality that makes you slow down a bit and appreciate what is happening. Quite a triumph, really. I also really appreciated how many vegan options they had, including vegan pizzas and milkshakes, which feels both thoughtful and refreshingly modern without making a fuss about it. It makes the menu feel more fun and more inclusive, which is always a point in a place's favour. The prices were great, everyone working there was extremely nice and friendly, and the restaurant itself was decorated in such a cool way. It had a great vibe, stylish without being try-hard, and felt like somewhere you could happily settle in and stay a while. Overall, a thoroughly delightful stop and one I would gladly return to.

I love a good Caesar Salad and the cashews added such a nice nutty taste to it - a hefty portion as well where all of us got a solid serving. The pizzas were cut, luckily, in 6 - super hot and the cheese pulls were so satisfying. My favourite was the Sausage and Pistachio - I've never had one like this and as someone who loves pistachio, the combination worked so well. All to say, the other 2 were also delicious. The pizzas were meaty and I appreciate how they also had vegan/vegetarian substitutions if needed. 10/10 service as well, and our server was awesome! Such a fun spot with lots of seating to accommodate all different sized parties with bar seating as well. However, it can get a bit lively and loud, so I wouldn't recommend it for virtual meetings or calls. For focused work without meetings, though, it's a perfect spot.
