They helped me navigate my options and end up with a sensible approach to my 100 year-old dining chair. The supplies are reasonable and comprehensive. Just a wonderful experience.

I've always enjoyed walking the fabric aisles to admire the vibrant colors and unique upholstery designs. They usually have great remnants at good prices, but today, I have to say, I was very disappointed--and this will likely be my last visit. While browsing the precut remnants, I noticed an employee staring at me. I moved to another section of the table, but the same employee "coincidentally" hovered near me again. I ignored it and kept looking, determined to find a piece for a special project I had in mind. As soon as I found something I liked, I turned around to see her standing nearby, pivoted toward me, and she commented, "I see you found something." After a long day at work, I was simply looking for a quick, creative outlet to pick up some fabric for my design project. Instead, I felt scrutinized and uncomfortable. As an avid fabric purchaser who regularly shops in fabric stores from Raleigh to High Point and NYC, this was a disheartening experience. Most stores I frequent are welcoming and allow me to browse freely without unnecessary oversight. Mills Outlet, please do better. Your customers come to you for inspiration, not judgment. You never who could be shopping in your store.

It seemed to of good quality and they beat the price. BUT when they installed they ordered so little that every room had to be pieced ,4 pieces to do my bedroom and 2 for each closet!! The installer said I had 8 lb. luxury padding like I ordered at Lowes but I took a label I removed from the padding to an another installer and was told it was the basic standard 6 lb. The carpet looks great but the real quality of with patched installation and downgraded pad signifies a real rip off.

Unlike, other companies, Hopkins doesn't cheat in measurements (They measured at least 15 ft. less than two other companies). Installation is more expensive at Hopkins, but with less flooring, it comes to about the same as cheaper places (You must do the math). However, installation was poor. The installer left big spaces around the perimeter that were not all covered with the shoe moulding. My husband had to apply tinted caulk in many areas to cover the gaps. When I complained to the owner, she would not hear it. So, if a good price is what you're looking for, check out Hopkins. If service is more important, go with someone else.

We immediately felt at home with Zaki, his wife, and his staff. They took the time to walk with us throughout his immense showroom and explain the histories and details of his one-of-a-kind rugs, of which there were thousands. The prices of the rugs were more than reasonable, and Zaki is donating his earnings to an incredible cause - a charity focused on building orphanages and educating underprivileged children in Pakistan, where he grew up and has worked for years to give young people opportunities. Suffice it to say that we left High Point feeling wonderful.

His selection of rugs is unsurpassed, his knowledge is encyclopedic, and best of all, he is one of the finest human beings that you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. My wife and I have purchased several rugs from Zaki in the past 10 years, and we have likewise guided relatives, friends and neighbors to his showroom. I could go on for thousands of words about the incredibly vast selection of rugs, the heirloom quality of their construction, and the beauty of the designs, but words cannot convey the true impact of spending time with Zaki and his team. Like most of his clients, we were profoundly saddened to learn that he will likely be closing the showroom in 2020, in order to focus on his incredibly generous charitable endeavors, working with children in his native Pakistan. There is only one Zaki, go there now, while you can!

As a principal designer (with a key focus on interiors) at an award-winning national practice, I have worked with countless retailers, supply houses and interiors consultancies. Without question, these folks are my absolute favorite supply partners and I work with them every possible chance I get (note that they also offer trade pricing should you happen to be an architect or designer). Over the years my wife and I have bought several pieces from them at various price points and have always been impressed by their level of service, responsiveness, kindness, enthusiasm and overall product (and industry) knowledge. I truly cannot say enough great things about either the store itself or the people behind it.

I had purchased an item that turned out to be unavailable until October and while Ivy could have let me wait, she actually emailed me within 24 hours of my purchase to give me a chance to cancel the order if I didn't want to wait. I really appreciated her gesture and ended up keeping the order. She was very responsive through the entire process and I can't rave enough about my experience. Thank you Ivy and as I had let you know, you have a lifetime customer.
