The food was good but the wait was LONG. The estimated times in the yelp waitlist were way off. The estimated time was 22-45 min and we waited over an hour for a table. There's usually a lot of people waiting for a table here on the weekends. We tried to come here once before and thought we were early enough to beat a rush, nope. They open at 7 so if you don't want to wait I'd go as early as possible on Sat/Sun. We did however show up today just before 9 and there was a 15-20 min wait. Not bad considering the crowd outside. This place seems to draw large parties. Many groups of 4-6 people with kids. They're very accommodating to large parties which is nice, but it does slow down the turn of the tables. Super nice staff greeted us and said it would be 15-20 min and suggested to wait on a bench in the bar area. There were 4-5 pots of coffee to choose from and big, colorful mugs to help yourself to. We got our table in 10 minutes. We needed some time with the menu, so much to choose from. 4-5 page breakfast menu! The menu has all the breakfast standard items but what makes Tucker's special are the unique combinations. My husband and i both had "scrambles". I chose the meat lover scramble which came with home fried red potatoes and the softest, freshest eye toast I've ever had. It was like pillow toast. I only wish the butter that was generously spread on the toast was saltier. Our waitress was attentive but not annoying. We were super full and had great meals. Our total bill, breakfasts, orange juice and coffees was $27 before tip. We went back again this weekend and it was excellent. Got there at 8:15 and were seated right away. We tried some new dishes. The apple caramel French toast-very good, very rich. And the Irish Benedict. Huge portion on the Benedict. Our daughter had the cinnamon roll and it was amazing! read more

Mother's Day breakfast was a flop. Limited menu of only 8 or 12 options. Was told it was because they are so busy,, but it's busy every weekend. Service and food was great, but lack of options was very disappointing... seems like management needs some work. read more

My children and I had brunch here today. We had the Green Goddess Bowl, the Chipotle Grilled Cheese, and my daughter had the kids Mac and Cheese. It was delicious! We also ordered the Tribal Bowl to share, because we couldn't resist. The meals were reasonably priced, and everything was scrumptious. The server, Wendy, was an absolute delight! I understand the current situation we are in, but this particular experience was incredibly unprofessional. We were told it was going to be about an hour, placed our spot over the phone- and headed out 30 mins later. We get there and wait for an additional 45. When we asked for an update, they told us it could be another 30. New to the area, and our first stop was Tucker's! We put our names in at about 1, and even though the place was slammed on a Sunday morning, we got in after only about 30 mins. Our server, Nicole T, was super sweet, got us everything we needed and timed her check ins perfectly so it didn't feel like she was hovering or that we had to wait around for her- she was great! :) They close at 2 on Sundays, but almost every table was full and they were still seating people at 1:55. We didn't feel rushed at all. Food was soo good and their smoothies are great too. Portions were the perfect size that left us satisfied but not uncomfortably stuffed lol. One of the better restaurants I've had the pleasure of visiting in NH. When we arrived there was no wait and quickly seated. The waitress Laura, was very attentive and made sure to let us know she would be right with us within a minute or so of us getting settled. My boyfriend ordered a standard house coffee and I opted for an iced mocha java which is an iced coffee with blended dark Ghiradelli chocolate. The drink was delicious however does not have free refills so I made sure to make it last throughout the meal. For breakfast my S/O ordered plain pancakes with with the upgraded maple syrup. The pancakes were decent, no frills or anything special added worth mentioning. I ordered the Sunrise specialty minus the sun-dried tomato pesto. My food was a tad on the lukewarm side and toast was cold however I didn't complain or send it back as by the time it arrived they were pretty busy and our waitress was busy assisting other tables. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon was nice and crispy. My only true complaint however was the amount of onions under the eggs. Too many for my liking and I ended up scraping a majority of it off. Overall it was a nice breakfast experience and I would definitely visit again. We love Tucker's. I'm pretty sure we've been coming here since Tucker's was invented. Sometimes the wait is long but totally worth it. They do a really goood job at turning around the tables and being efficient. Food comes out quick and on point. The staff are always friendly. Well managed establishment. Out of all the times we've come, I think we've only had one issue, EVER. We are gluten intolerant and have never left sick so that's huge and my wife is gluten and dairy free so that's even more of an accomplishment. Well done Tucker's in Somersworth. Met friends in Dover today. Entering the restaurant I was glad to see plexiglass dividers. Then I noticed that NONE of the waitstaff had masks on. Restaurant crowded. Lobby packed with unmasked diners. I left telling my friends I was not comfortable. My friend asked a server what policy is. She said they are not required to wear mask if vaccinated. This is NH. Positivity rate about 10%. Just down the street, the community hospital is overwhelmed. The National Guard and FEMA are there to help. Healthcare workers totally overwhelmed but the staff at Tuckers cannot even wear masks. They have no clue if diners are vaccinated or not. Somehow they believe they are immune if vaccinated. They are not. They can get it. They can carry it and give it to others. It was surreal. The owner clearly has no investment in the health of his workers or diners. Absolutely no respect for the community. A simple mask is all that's needed. No common sense. Will I return someday? Never. read more

If I lived in the area I would be coming here every single day. We split the durango skillet (special) and a side of corned beef hash. The durango skillet was served to us in half as we requested a split, and was still larger than most breakfasts I can get at home. The staff is AMAZING!! The food is GREAT!!Except for the gluten-free "toast!" It's never "toasted!" It's warmed in the oven to prevent cross-contamination. I get it. Eggs were poached well, brisket wasn't dry and the hollandaise was done well too. I got the beans instead of the homefries. Standard diner beans but still had good flavor. Service was good. All the waitstaff are very busy since it's a popular spot, but nothing out of the ordinary as far as substandard service. A little slow on getting us the check but I can't really complain. This place is underwhelming. The benedicts was not good at all - terrible hollandaise sauce. The lemon tea cake French toast was very marginal.
