Having been in sales for a reputable and honest business, I know how to detect the good and the bad. I felt totally comfortable with Mark from the get go. Aside from his years of experience and expertise, he and his wife bring the showroom to you. He prefers to make a house visit so that you can see the colors and the fabrics in *your home* and in your home lighting so that you can make an educated decision. Mark will be honest and let you know the pros and cons of each kind of carpet in all price ranges. He wants you to be happy with your carpet for many, many years to come, not like at Home Depot or Lowes of which you will be needing to replace the carpet every few years and you will also have dark brown/black corners from dirt stains. We are extremely pleased with the carpet we decided on and his workers skillfully installed it. I highly recommend him! 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I highly recommend this business if you're looking for carpeting. We were in the middle of a big home renovation, so it was a godsend to have the owner and his wife come to our home. They had many samples from which to choose, wool and synthetic, were able to look at the rooms we wanted carpeted, and could give us an accurate estimate of the cost. We ordered the carpeting that day. Our renovation caused us to delay the carpet installation several times, but Tucson Carpet Express was good natured about our delays. We were remodeling a house and needed the carpet replaced. We started at Home Depot and looked elsewhere because the lead time for installation was 4 weeks and we are glad we did. Complete carpet replacement in a 4-bedroom house. Mark did a spectacular job, in a great timeframe at a very reasonable price. The house is 1650 square feet and it is mostly carpeted. Mark went above and beyond and made several suggestions that I had not thought of to improve the final outcome. For example, at the entry door, a couple tiles that bordered the carpet were chipped and unsightly. He cut the damaged tile back and brought the carpet in a couple inches; it looks amazing. He explained carpet cost, quality and wear details. Mark is personable and professional. I appreciated he was flexible about final payment when I was out of state for work. After my long-term tenants moved out I needed to quickly refresh the home to transform it to a quality vacation rental. I already received bookings in early January and needed carpets installed ASAP during the busy holiday season (it was 12/18 already - one week before xmas). My expectations were a bit higher reading the reviews. I had a very small section if carpet restretched in our RV. Was told , 160 plus materials. The repair is mediocre, but the price became $340 because of about 13' of tack strip and 3'x8' of pad. Now we have a loose tile adjacent to the carpet that was not loose before. read more

We needed the carpet stretched in 3 rooms. I saw Mark's Carpet Service had a number of excellent reviews when I did an internet search. He came over to do the free estimate on time. In talking to him, I felt he would be trustworthy and liked the idea that he would be doing some of the work. We agreed on a date and he showed up with an assistant at the time he said he would. Prior to his arrival I removed all but the heaviest pieces of furniture from each room to facilitate the job.The work was completed in 2 hours and the wrinkles were gone. Everything went smoothly. He readily helped me move the all furniture back into the rooms to make my clean-up effort easier. I contacted Mark on a Monday to see about fixing my wrinkled carpet. He came out to asses the situation on Tuesday, and did the work on Wednesday. He did a great job. Not only did he restretch the carpet, he re-nailed the tack strip and fixed problem areas with the padding. Communication was great. He even sent me pictures of the progress while I was away. After reading the previous comments, I was really expecting some outstanding work. However, I received an okay repair on my carpet with some work that I could tell should have been worked on more extensively. The padding underneath the carpet that was repaired is either missing in some areas or is over padded as well as the edges of the repaired area are not neatly cut. I paid $180 for a repair job that I had to go out and get the carpet for and only took him 30 minutes to do a mediocre job. Just bought a house and was looking for a professional carpet in staller called many places when I came across Mark Carpet on the net. I needed carpet laid on top of tile flooring didn't know if it was possible other places told me I had to take the tile up and it was going to cost large sums of money ( which I knew would of been the best way ) but I just did not get a good feeling from them other guys and them I found Marks number so I gave him a call and very glad I did he came out the next day and seemed very attentive to my needs and wants.
