I have chosen to go to this urgent care (on Wyatt Dr.) straight from my orthopedic doctor…read moreappointment based on his recommendation to seek urgent care as it would be faster to determine if I have a fracture pelvis or not. I was in excruciating pain and the care from the NP - Ray, and the rest of the team was no less than excellent. The wait time was close to none and the check in was easy and friendly.

Door wide open, as was the door to the pt rooms. Not a soul in sight) When someone finally came to the front desk, I explained my symptoms. And, what I suspected the treatment I needed (Based on previous experience. Hoping to avoid a repeat of previous experience.) She told me she was unsure the facility actually did this procedure, and she would have to "check" with her provider. (Basic I.V.) She goes and asks....only to return to tell me, "My provider is unable to do that at this time. Because, we are CLOSING EARLY TODAY. WE ARE CLOSING AT 5:00 TODAY, AND, THAT PROCEDURE WILL TAKE TOO LONG. IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT 30 MINUTES TO ADMINISTER." Imagine my stupor, as I stood there DUMBFOUNDED! As calmly as possible, I reached for my insurance card, ID and asked where the nearest URGENT CARE that WAS open was located and walked out. I USED TO THINK THAT TMC WAS ONE OF THE CITIES BEST. Now, I'm not so sure. I should have come to the NW Hospital center here in the neighborhood instead. I have always had a great experience with them.

You know, most reviews at these types of places and at grocery stores and most fast food chains…read morewill be low stars. Only because many people will only write a review because they had a bad experience. I get that. But it doesn't speak for the hundreds and thousands of satisfied customers that have had positive experiences. So here's one of them. And it is also a new review since the last one was about a year ago. I had a really good experience. First of all, the waiting room is large. It is not a small urgent care where you are cramped in with all the other sickies. This, and I'm assuming all Banner Urgent Cares, have appointments and video conferencing. I make that call based on their app. I set up an appointment and was seen within 5 minutes of that appointment time. When I came, there was only a couple of guys there and they were having a conversation. I think they probably were waiting on a patient. There was a woman and her children that eventually came in, too. So it was not busy. The Nurse Practitioner's name was Debbie and she was cheerful. I liked that. I came in to make sure this cold wasn't turning into a sinus infection. She explained the symptoms of a sinus infection and I could immediately tell I wasn't experiencing one. She also wanted to make sure that I didn't want antibiotics as there was nothing that could be done for a virus. She was pleasant, upbeat, and a good communicator. She also didn't charge me for the visit since there was really nothing that she could do. Bonus! Not sure how an urgent care could get five stars. If I think of a reason, maybe I'll come back and change it to five stars. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

I'm absolutely shocked that doctor and the lady that takes you into the back would roll their eyes at me and my daughter and act as if they didn't want us there. I took my daughter to have one of her eyes checked. We followed all the instructions be there ten minutes early , wear a mask wonder how they treat people that don't have insurance probably even worse. They definitely are in the wrong field and should consider a career change.

The first nurse was very friendly and helped me and my daughter, the RN who came in to take blood after the Dr saw me was a mess, he had and attitude and slammed some the test vials on the cart. I asked be it in serious pain in my abdomen and chest if everything was ok, he say yes why, I stated well you do not seem like a happy human right now. He replied no that is just who I am. OK so maybe not work with people who are just seeking help and need answers, I understand not everyone that comes to the ER is a nice person but I really don't want someone who is trying to help to be that moody, sorry. You area a nurse and we look to you for support and help. The Reason for the 2 stars is because I was there for hours while they still tried to figure out what was wrong, and trying to transport me to the NWMC on Houghton and Old Spanish Trail, the evening nurse was very kind and cared about my well being. He did his best to help, and finally he gave me oxygen to help with the heart and oxygen monitors to stop going off over and over. There was another issue I am not sure which hospital it was but the phone system had gone out so the ER could not reach anyone at the Houghton location to get me moved. How does this happen in 2025. They can do xray, bloodwork, and even have a pharmacy! The FIRECRACKERS at the Broadway location were amazing to me on Sunday. I have been coughing and wheezing for 3 weeks and finally had enough. Each member of the teaam was very nice to me and even though they were really busy and it took longer than probably normal, I was really happy They made sure to xray my chest and take blood to ensure they narrowed down the diagnosis as much as possible. After receiving some much needed treatment and some proper medications, I left feeling 10x better then when I arrived. I am hopeful that in the next week I can finally kick this!

It's that kind situation everywhere now. My only concern was checking out and getting my meditation. I believe the 2 girls were new and the 15 minutes it took yo check out wasn't the issue. It was the lack of confidence I had because they were outwardly loud about not knowing about the medicine, how to log it, who it was going too, etc. It made me really nervous. They were looking in a manual and almost arguing with each other about how to do what. It was a tad off putting but I'm hoping it's just part of having new employees maybe?

I understand that Concentra does not tolerate aggressive behavior, and I completely respect that…read more However, even when you raise a legitimate concern or point out an error, the way you are treated is unacceptable. Yesterday, the doctor who saw me forgot to include my work restrictions on the note I needed to submit to my employer. Because of that mistake, my employer expected me to perform duties I physically could not do. When I called Concentra to explain, the receptionist told me I had to return in person--another 45-minute drive each way despite my pain. When I arrived, they placed me in a room and left me there for over an hour. Only when I complained did the doctor finally come in. She typed a corrected note in about 3-5 minutes and handed it to me. No exam, no questions--she had just seen me less than 18 hours earlier. This is just one example of poor treatment. They did not provide a cane or crutches, so I had to buy my own. They advised me to purchase cooling pads instead of supplying basic medical support. Physical therapy felt like a checklist--they follow a script instead of adjusting to the actual injury. And they delay MRIs as long as possible, wasting weeks of time and the employer's money before taking injuries seriously. Employers should really reconsider partnering with Concentra. The level of inconvenience, inefficiency, and lack of patient care is unacceptable. My experience felt like a waste of time, money, and energy--at the expense of my health.
