Pretty solid uhaul! We had to make last minute arrangements to move, since the keys to our first…read morehome were delayed. They had a deal going on, if you do a one way trip you got a storage unit FREE for a month! It saved us HUNDREDS. It was clean and dry, the workers were super sweet and helpful for the most part. They were even nice enough to teach my husband how to back up the uhaul safely. The only concern, we got a call one day saying our unit didnt have a lock on it, made us panic a bit. Thankfully they had the numbers mixed up and our things were safe, but super grateful they called regardless! Its good to know theres always someone watching the units. Self drop off for the trucks was pretty easy. The parking lot is VERY tight to get in and out of. Just a heads up!

Zero stars. I don't know how Uhaul is still in business. We moved from Tx to Or and had 9 pods…read more They shipped the first 3 with no warning, months early, we weren't done packing the others yet. So then when we shipped the rest it cost extra than it would have if they had shipped them all at once. Total scam. Every single reservation we have made they got the time wrong, despite calling them multiple times for every one. When we tried to pick up boxes we found they had shipped them to the wrong city - because apparently they can't ship them to our new city as promised. They told us we could rent a trailer and haul them to the correct city one at a time . So we get a box and drive 2 hours to unload it only to find it's on the trailer backwards and the door won't open over the hitch. Tried again- box two was screwed shit with a specialty screw - no warning that we would need a drill and bit, again 2 hour drive. Box 3- also screwed shut, and they broke our lock. Also no warnings. F this whole company.

We hired Almighty Movers for a confirmed move on November 22, 2025. The owner, Justin, personally confirmed the night before at 4:50 p.m. that a 4-man crew would arrive between 8:00-8:30 a.m. the next morning. He knew from my earlier email on November 13 that we had only three days to complete our move after our home closed on November 19, and that we had to be out that day to meet a strict contractual deadline. There was no flexibility at all, and he accepted the job with full understanding of this. One hour before the scheduled arrival time, I received a text from Justin that said: "Move will need to be postponed until Sunday. Hope that's okay." There was no phone call, just a text. I called immediately because postponing was not possible. He did not answer. I texted back explaining we had a hard deadline and needed the crew that morning. He replied briefly that he was "on it" and trying to find a smaller crew. That was the last communication I received. He did not return my call. He did not provide an update. No one ever arrived. At 10 a.m., after receiving no information at all, I asked for my deposit back. It was refunded through Venmo, but I received no message confirming the refund or acknowledging the situation. Communication simply ended. Because the cancellation happened with only one hour's notice, and because the company was fully aware of our immovable timeline, my husband and I were forced to complete the entire move ourselves -- including all packing, furniture, boxes, and garage/outdoor items. This was roughly 36 hours of professional labor we had to replace in a single day. I have lupus, and the physical strain triggered a severe flare. I was unable to work the following Monday, resulting in lost wages, along with significant physical pain and stress. The entire reason we hired movers and were willing to pay the $2,500 price tag, was because of my health limitations, and being abandoned like this caused us tremendous hardship. On November 25, I emailed the company with a detailed description of what happened and offered 14 days for a reasonable resolution. I received no response of any kind. I have since learned through the Oregon Department of Justice website that this is not the company's first complaint, something I truly wish I had known before hiring them. As someone who has worked in real estate, I understand how critical reliability is during a move, and I have notified colleagues so they can help protect their clients. I cannot imagine this happening to an elderly couple or someone without the physical ability to complete an entire move alone. I have filed formal complaints with: * Oregon Department of Justice * ODOT Household Goods Movers Enforcement * FMCSA * BBB My hope is that sharing my experience prevents another family -- especially someone medically vulnerable -- from going through what we endured.
