My brother took his phone in on 3/13/25 they said it would take an hour or so to fix and they would call my phone once it was done. No call came, my brother went into the store before they closed and was told the phone still wasn't ready, he called again right before 5 and was told it still wasn't done but that the person working on the phone was going to stay until after closing to make sure the phone was repaired it should be done by around 5:30... My brother went into the store at 5:30 and the phone still was not done, they said they would have it ready the following morning... My brother drove in to go check on his phone and the store is closed on a Friday before noon due to weather. Roads are fine now it's plenty warmed up many businesses have opened up. There's no contact number that they gave him. He did stress to them that he needs his phone for work. After a lot of jumping through hoops trying to get a hold of someone, finally we were able to get a hold of Kyle who I believe is the owner, he was so wonderful about everything and told us the he went in regardless of the closure to fix my brother's phone himself, got it working and admitted he may have dropped the ball in reaching out to get a hold of someone to get my brother's phone back to him. However that is all squared away and he is meeting my brother at the store to return his phone. I just want to give our sincere gratitude to Kyle, for his workmanship and dedication to his customers. My desktop computer had run out of disk space on my C: drive. I wasn't even able to perform a backup of my iPhone or iPad. Tuff Techies were able to get me in the same day and start working on my issue. They backed up my data to another drive, installed a 1tb SSD drive, un-compressed (I won't ever compress the drives again) my backed up data, copied it to the new 1tb drive, reformatted my original 256mb SSD and re-installed it as my D: drive. They also performed an analysis of the system (memory, etc). They communicated exceptionally well throughout the process utilizing phone, email and text messaging. Throughout the repair they offered several alternatives to solve my problem. I chose the one described above and was charged a very reasonable price given the purchase of hardware and their labor time. Since having the computer back for about two weeks it is performing excellently. My problem is GONE! I will definitely use TUFF TECHIES next time I need tech support. I had the best experience with this company and speaking with their customer service rep fool basically walked me through everything that I needed to do to find me back and working with a new computer as mine melted. So could not have been more surprised when I ended up with only a $90 bill for transferring of all the necessary data and programs to my new computer so that's the flat fee that they charge for that service but it took a lot longer than expected and yet there was no extra charge. DO NOT GO HERE they are holding my phone hostage So a little back story, I am a 14-year-old girl in high school. my phone is a big part of my life as it is for most teenagers nowadays. I do school work on it, I text and call my friends, family, and boyfriend on it daily, etc. About four days ago my mother needed to transfer some of my texts onto a hard drive for personal issues. I didn't want to give up my phone for what they said would be 3 hours but I agreed because Tuff Techies looked like a great place, that treated their customers right, and promised to get the job done quickly. it is now four days later and I still don't have my phone. I am furious. My mother called multiple times a day to see what was happening. they kept telling her that there were software updates on my phone and that they would call in a couple of hours to give us an update. first of all, they would never call by the promised time they gave us, and second of all when my mother would call they kept telling her the same thing over and over again and they would even rudely hang up. they are refusing to give me my property back. if you thinking right now that I am just a snooty little 14 year old that can't go a couple of days without a phone and that I am exaggerating all of this ask yourself "If I didn't have my phone at all of 4 days how would I feel" or if you have any kids or teenagers ask them "how would you feel if you didn't have your phone and couldn't text/call someone for 4 days?" im guessing the answer would be pretty furious right? so, all in all, do NOT go here. they are treating me and my mother very rudely and they do not know what proper customer service is. I do not know when I will get my phone back and when they will give my personal property back. I believe that my phone is my right and that they CAN NOT hold MY phone hostage. I hope you take this into consideration if you are thinking of going to these people for assistance. UPDATE: it is now three weeks later and I still don't have my phone and I am even more furious! They are still threatening my mother and me and treating us very rudely. They are asking for personal passwords that I know for a fact they don't need. The only way they are saying they will give me my phone back is if my mother pays them 1,500$!!!! My mother is a single parent and obviously can't pay that. I am extremely mad and don't know why they are doing this to a 14-year-old who depends on her phone for a lot of things. it is also a safety issue when I don't have my phone on me being a teenage girl in the world we live in. I have also had to turn down all of my babysitting jobs for the past 3 weeks because I do not feel comfortable babysitting without a phone in case there is an emergency in turn it is also a safety issue for me and the kids I babysit when I don't have my phone on me. it has made the kids and parents of the kids furious because I am the main babysitter they use. My friends, family, and boyfriend are furious too. Please again know that I am not exaggerating this. DO NOT GO HERE! we bought an antenna from these guys, reception was awful after a few months, I needed a TV mounted on the wall so I called them. first refused to use the bracket that I had purchased, instead used their $90 one, then put new cover box on cables outside, lil plastic box, $100. they couldn't figure out why my channels weren't working....leaving they handed me a bill for $500 !!!! still no channels, sound on TV that was put up? Jeremy was great in helping me fix my new laptop after Microsoft One Drive automatically took all of my backup files and put them on their cloud based service. I *tried* to delete the cloud files but then it deleted all of my files. So after exhausting all of the (limited) knowledge I had to fix it, I relented and asked the professionals :-) Jeremy not only removed One Drive, but re-installed my files in a logical manner, not the Microsoft way of "organizing" files and installed Windows 11 for a really reasonable price. He also upgraded the hard drive on my old laptop so that we could use it for another purpose. And he was kind enough to answer a question over the phone when I ran into an issue with my picture files due to an app that wasn't installed by Microsoft. We recently started using T Mobile for internet. We have a surprisingly strong signal, although we live in the mountains south of Prescott. I took an HP laptop in for a broken hinge. Jeremy appraised its condition, and it was beyond repair. He jumped online and found a great replacement at Best Buy that he recommended because it had better quality hinges and would compare favorably to my high-end but broken HP's specs. He could have tried to sell me one in his store, but instead of trying to fill his pockets with cash, he fulfilled my need for a comparable laptop - at another retailer! I bought it from Best Buy that day, but it took 2 days to arrive, and in the interim, I developed "Best Buyer's Remorse." The difference in service between BB and Tuff Techies was astonishing. When the new laptop arrived, I returned it to Best Buy, drove to Tuff Techies, and bought a sweet laptop at one-third the cost.
