    O. M. G. Sushi roll, one of my favorites.

This is my local go to for good sushi. The staff is polite and friendly with great service. The restaurant is somewhat small, but very comfortable. Most of their customers generally get their food to go, like I do sometimes. BTW, they also serve fish & chips, that's quite popular too!! Looking forward to going back soon.

Dinner Special $13.99 includes 1 fish, 3 onion rings, 3 lumpia, 3 zucchini, chips and soda

The restaurant was cute and clean in a strip mall location. Orders are placed at the counter and brought to your table. They have about 30 types of sushi that looked good but we were in the mood for fish and chips. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are enormous. The fish pieces were about a foot long. The tempura style coating on the fish and veggies was perfectly crispy. The lumpia was excellent. The chips were a big disappointment because they were just frozen crinkle cut fries. Our other criticism is there did not seem to be any salt on anything. I deducted a star because of the chips and lack of salt. The bathroom was clean. Next time we will just order the veggie combo and a couple of pieces of fish on the side.

Best fish & chips in the area! Fish & chips and sushi bar. Wide variety of sushi and rolls. Lumpia is available too. Clean and Comfortable. New comfortable banquettes. Well appointed and tastefully decorated. Homemade tartar sauce. Great quality food! Generous portions of fish! Well fried and crispy! Not the least bit greasy! Great calming background music. Friendly, courteous, welcoming, and smiling staff. Each individual order freshly fried at the moment of ordering. Malt vinegar and lemon slices available. My new go-to place for fish & chips!

    Crispy fish and chips!

The owners are so kind AND the food is delicious! I mean, everything fried is good rightHubs and I enjoyed the Tugboat, 6 pieces of fish with chips and a side of ginormous fried mushrooms! They bring all the fresh sauce directly from the fridge to your table. The fish is a generous portion and nice and CRISPY. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed! Now, it's nap time

What a fantastic find! I just had my first meal at **Tug Boat F&C in Lincoln, CA**, and I'm absolutely thrilled. My family and I stopped by for lunch on a Saturday, and from the moment we walked in, we knew we'd discovered a true local gem. The lovely lady behind the counter greeted us right away, and I was so impressed by how sparkling clean and tidy everything was. There's a wonderful variety of delicious fried treats on their fish and chips menu, and their sushi menu is absolutely lavish! With sushi rolls ranging from just $9 to $15, it's an incredible bargain. We decided on the $11.99 special, and it was pure perfection! It came with one piece of fish, three potstickers (or lumpia!), three zucchini, three onion rings, and even a soda. Every bite was **crispy, light, and wonderfully fresh**. You could tell the oil was perfect--no old or reused taste at all. This place truly won't disappoint! Just remember they're closed on Sundays and Mondays. I can't wait to go back! Yummy Yummy Roll, Lumpia, hushpuppies

Stopped by Tugboats for lunch today and really enjoyed it! You order at the counter and they bring the food out to your table, which came out super fast. I got the Yummy Yummy Roll, hushpuppies, and lumpia--all were fresh and really good. The malt vinegar on the table goes perfectly with the hushpuppies, and the lumpia comes with a sweet and sour sauce that was great. Everyone working was super friendly and helpful. They've got a big menu with lots of appetizers, sushi, and fish options to choose from. The inside is cute too, with fun wall decorations that make it feel cozy. Only downside is the parking lot--it's pretty small and can be tough to get in and out of when it's busy. But overall, definitely a solid spot for lunch!

I've been going for month, up to a year. I love their sushi. Dynamite (spicy) on the left and Flying Tiger (lemon) on the right. The fish and chips are good too. The seating area is relaxing. The parking lot is small but worth if you can get in or take to go.

this place is a gem! I haven't been here in a while, but I was nearby and had a craving so I stopped in. I'm so glad I did because I was hungry when I ordered hit the spot. They are so nice here service is always done with a smile and done quickly. There is Apple seating inside, which is very roomy and comfortable. I will definitely be back more often.

Simple, yet satisfying. In the words of Pumba. All smiles. Ordered a Seafood Sampler 2 Fish Combo "Dragon" Roll The fact that they serve sushi and it's small and quaint. Plus the staff keep to themselves and are super attentive. This cozy joint is a decent place to just partake a simple meal. The sushi rolls are portioned just right. Thank you kindly for the meal

Small dinning room, but clean. Great fish & chips. Also freshly made to order sushi. Hidden gem in plain sight.

Sadly she never introduced herself so I can't give her the kudos she deserves. Started out with warm bread and garlicky soft butter. They serve it with the knife stabbed through the center of the bread - by the time you pull the big knife out, there is not much center left to spread the butter on. I figured out how to slather it in butter anyways. The garlic butter is something I could eat on everything! Dinner: We arrived around 6pm on a Wednesday. There were plenty of people there, but we were able to be seated right away. We ordered the pollo piccata - it was delicious, the sauce was creamy, the perfect amount of lemony, and the capers weren't too salty. The creamy potatoes were great and the veggies cooked perfectly. The balsamic ribeye - eh not our thing. Mid at best for us. It was tender, but it had so much liquid it didn't have much flavor and tasted like it was boiled. Still giving 5 stars overall because maybe that's the way it's supposed to be. Dessert: Chocolate lava cake - ours was extinct. There was NO LAVA! Just a very dense very chocolaty cake. Did I still eat it?? Yes!! Chocolate is chocolate. But if you are going to say lava I expect some lava! Drink: Josh Cab, always a hit. Strawberry Minefield (I think) dangerous! The lobster bites came with a lemon wedge and their house Thousand Island sauce, and that sauce was incredible. The combination of the crispy lobster, lemon, and sauce worked perfectly together. The broccolini was also seasoned really well and paired nicely with the grilled lemon. I ordered an Old Fashioned, and it was one of the smoothest I've had. One detail I loved was that they stamped the restaurant's logo into the ice cube. Small touch, but really cool. For my main course, I ordered the Grilled Huli Huli Chicken with a crispy rice cake, pineapple, greens, and a house sauce that completely made the dish. The sweet and tangy flavor paired perfectly with the chicken. Me and my girlfriend also shared the mac and cheese, and honestly, this was one of the best mac and cheeses I've had. It was rich, creamy, well-seasoned, and the breadcrumbs on top added the perfect texture. My girlfriend ordered the braised short rib with garlic mashed potatoes and carrot purée. The short rib was so tender it practically fell apart with a fork. Everything on the plate was delicious. One thing that surprised me was the portion sizes. Everything was very filling, and we ended up taking some food home. By the time dessert came around, we were already pretty full, but there was no way we were skipping it. To finish the night, we shared the Ghirardelli triple chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and strawberries. It was the perfect way to end the meal. The restaurant was busy and lively, but it never felt crowded. The tables were spaced out really well, so my girlfriend and I could still enjoy our conversation and watch the basketball game. I also appreciated seeing Chef Q and his wife walking around and checking on guests throughout the night. They stopped by tables to see how everyone was enjoying their food, which was a really nice touch. I even had the chance to take a picture with Chef Q before we left, which was super cool. Between the food, service, atmosphere, and attention to detail, this is easily one of the top restaurants I've been to in Sacramento. Definitely worth a visit.

The only small thing I would suggest is having more napkins at the table, since we were only given one per plate and ended up needing a few more during the meal. We had originally reserved a tatami table, but quickly realized it wasn't the best fit for our group since we had some older people with knee pain. Just a heads up, the tatami seating does not have recessed flooring. Luckily, we were able to adjust to a regular table. Once we were settled, we looked through the menu and ordered a double toro roll, a wagyu roll, and a dinner bento with unagi-don. Happy to report everything we ordered was delicious! The double toro was very fresh and refreshing, and the wagyu roll had a rich, savory flavor that reminded us of a yummy steak. We enjoyed every bite. I was especially impressed with my bento box. The presentation was beautiful and the portions were very generous. The bento came with steamed egg, a fresh garden salad, assorted tempura, and unagi-don. Everything in the box tasted great. The tempura was light and crispy, and the unagi was savory and satisfying with egg ribbons in the rice. I think it might be one of the best bento boxes I've had in a long time. However, as soon as we walked in, there was no greeting from both of the female servers, only cold stares. Many servers do not give great service to younger tables and assume they won't tip. This occurred throughout our dining experience and we didn't feel welcomed at all. Our table also wasn't the biggest and there was no pre-bussing done to clear our dining space. Also, as a recent graduate, I brought my cap to receive a $15 gift card for their promotion. Instead, she gave a "neighborhood" discount (10% off which made it $10 off). I didn't mention anything since I did not feel like coming back to this location. Then I looked at the receipt, wrote a 20% tip, but this was where I felt scammed. It's difficult to explain and I wish I took a picture, but please check your math on the suggested tip. Total with discount: $98 Previous Total: $108 Suggested Tip: 20% = $20 and Suggested Total: $128 I don't mind tipping $20, but the suggested total would include a $30 tip? I don't know if it's intentional and the server wanted to pocket the discount as her tip, but it did not feel fair. We had two younger kids with us and I didn't want them to notice, so we just left after paying. We been to the Sacramento location many times, but their Roseville location was disappointing. Horrible service.

Fish tacos so goooood! [Rocklin CA]…read more So happy that my friend, Belinda, suggested this place when I mentioned that I was craving fish tacos. I ordered from their Mezcalito Specials menu (green) and chose the Baja Fish Tacos ($18). I like the part that it came with rice and black beans. It included two fish tacos. Since I couldn't decide between grilled or fried I got one of each. The fish were beer battered with cabbage, mango, pico, avocado | opted out of the cilantro and onion | Chipotle Aioli on the side just in case I found it too spicy for my taste. It turned out that it added to wonderful flavors on the tacos. Unfortunately, the chips and salsa was not complimentary. Purchase separately. The servers were friendly and welcoming and it made for a pleasant first time experience! There are two dining sections so don't fret when you see the dining area full as you enter the restaurant. There is also a picnic bench under covered roof outside patio dining. You won't be disappointed! No wonder they are at almost perfect 5-stars in Yelp. Instagram: @mezcalitorocklin Review #4055

So incredibly disappointed after 10+ years as a faithful customer. Their General Chicken has always…read morebeen top notch, with the perfect crunch and flavor! But yesterday, everything was different. The crunch was gone, and what batter there was had no flavor or crunchy texture. Half the chicken had no batter at all. The sauce was sour, and the spicy kick I loved was gone. The dark brown coloring with that lovely hint of caramel was replaced with a rusty reddish orange sauce. I ordered takeout, and I decided to eat a portion in my car before driving home. I tried, I really did. After a few bites, I closed the container and drove home, and immediately tossed it into the trash. I understand that many restaurants are trying to hang on in this economy. Maybe Lincoln Chinese tried some less expensive ingredients instead of raising prices. I'm here to say, I'd happily pay more for the version that has been my signature order for many years. No other restaurant could top your former General Chicken. PLEASE bring it back! So disappointed.

The smoked sea bass had a slight sweet soy flavor that would make you savor the taste as long as possible. The bass was fresh, flaky and seasoned to perfection. Oh my goodness gravy!!! The tofu dish was paired with black mustard perfectly cooked bok choy. What a delectable surprise!! I wholeheartedly recommend the smoked sea bass that is guaranteed to leave left overs for the next day.

Been 7 years since my last review and still 3 stars for me. This is upscale Chinese restaurant so…read moreit is priced accordingly. Ambience is nice and good for groups as everything is family style. Expect avg $25 per entree that will feed 3-4 depending how many you get. We ordered 4: salt and pepper chicken wings which I recommend, pork fried rice, half a duck, and beef with green beans for 2 people. There was leftovers. One less entree we probably could have finished it all. My total came to 72 no drinks and a $17 credit for being a rewards member. The rest i paid using my comps. Food was generally good but I have had better for less. Service was actually better this time and came by enough where I wasn't looking around for help. I say it's worth a try! Even with my comps, I probably only come twice a year? Highly recommend getting reservations especially on weekend nights because they are fully booked and will not take walk-ins or to go orders.
