So bought a luggage set several years ago here because I was traveling more and wanted something more professional, sleeker, and so on. Have been very happy with my set. Took the larger carryon suitcase to Japan, and finally after many years one of the wheels broke from all the running through the train stations and up and down stairs (y'all when I say you have to PACK LIGHT bc you have to carry your stuff). Did a little reading and saw Tumi is no longer a "lifetime guarantee" but called and took it into the store regardless. They told me no longer lifetime guarantee, but "lifetime repair." Perfect. They said they were able to fix the wheel, and would replace all four at no cost to me. Yay! Carolina helped me, and called one day later to say my bag was ready. I have a few Tumi items and they serve me well. The handle on my rolling briefcase cracked and I phoned to see if they had the handle. The manager, Maby, assisted me on the phone. She told me they have three styles and told me when she was available. I came in the store and she promptly took apart my bag and repaired it in a matter of minutes. Service and quality is what Tumi is all about. Maby's service was top notch. I will definitely return to this store to make a purchase. read more

Walked by the Tumi store at the Del Amo Mall today and decided to stop in. I've had a Tumi handbag for a couple years and asked how to maintain it. Ashton offered to clean and condition it while I was in the store and I was surprised at how nice my bag looked after he was done. He also mentioned the warranty on their products and reminded me that if I had any issues with it I could always bring it back for repair or replacement during their generous warranty period. Went in the Del Amo store today and was greeted by a representative named John. He was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful on top of that. He was very presentable. Made me feel really comfortable and ended up taking care of me with my McLaren Tumi bag. I've always thought this brand was a bit overpriced, but now I see the value in the product. The staff in the store was so welcoming and it really made me happy to have spent the amount of money i did on this particular brand. I was looking for a brand (that everyone has already) but i opted for something different...a little less in your face. I really love it. The quality of the leather is perfect. Anyways, the store reps didn't make me feel bad because i purchased it somewhere else. They also said i still get the Tumi warranty. How's that for customer service! Jonathan was amazing! We were on a serious time crunch over the holiday weekend to get my pilot husband's luggage fixed before his next work flight. We brought in his Alpha II, and Jonathan let us know they didn't have a replacement part in the same color (we needed black). He offered to temporarily put on a dark navy blue replacement handle while he ordered more black parts to have in stock. The blue ended up being so dark that we were totally fine with him replacing it with the blue in store. He fixed it in less than 20 minutes! He was so nice and professional. He even offered for us to come back in when the black pieces came in so he can make it right. We are find with the blue, but him offering that shows next-level service. We also spoke to Ashton on the phone earlier that dat, and he was also so nice and helpful. You can tell these employees really care about service and going above and beyond. This review is long overdue for the store manager - Jonathan. I came in with a Tumi suitcase that had a busted handle. Having purchased several years ago, I was ready to pay for the repair. Jonathan fixed the handle, also provided the initials on my roll-on for no charge since it was within the warranty frame. Tumi is all that I use for my business travel needs. It's pricey, but well worth the concierge service. I question the validity of the negative Nov 2021 review.
