    Chinese Chicken Salad
    Mr. C.

Stopped by here craving something light. They got breakfast, sandwiches, and salads on the menu here. Thought I would try my fist Chinese chicken salad ever. Anyway to me it was pretty generic ingredients. Just a simple salad mix, cucumbers and they didn't even bother dicing the tomato. The dressing has a sweet tang to it. I thought the dressing was decent. The chicken was in the teriyaki format and wasn't bad. Overall an alright salad. Chinese Chicken Salad: 6.9

I stopped in for lunch, it was my first time and I wasn't disappointed. The spot is quaint and provides good food for reasonable prices to the surrounding working class. The staff are welcoming, attentive, and very friendly which just added another layer of enjoyment to my lunch time experience. The spot has indoor seating with a large TV monitor and outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful LA weather. Now for the food, I had their chicken rice soup, spam musubi, and grilled chicken sandwich on wheat. Every dish I had was well crafted, full of flavors, simply delicious, and well portioned. In conclusion, the Tummy Stuffer did just that, the menu had a great assortment of salads, soups, and hot and cold sandwiches. I can't wait to come back to try other items.

Italian cold cut sub . Fantastic !!

I've driven past this place for the last 25 years and never thought to stop, until my friend texted me that he had gone for the first time and it was great! The next day I stopped in for lunch and tried the Italian cold cut sub. It was amazing! The bread is fresh , soft, and perfect. One of the best Italian subs I've had in a long time. The pricing is excellent. Worth every penny. Service is great! They are a small shop but get busy around lunch time. I went back a couple of days later and ordered the Reuben sandwich. It's lighter than the Italian sub, but also very good. I brought a friend who also has never been here but lived in the area all of his life, he ordered the pastrami and was impressed ! he will be making this his regular lunch spot. This shop also sells teriyaki bowls , soups and salads, and a full breakfast menu. Definitely worth checking out! I will be back to try other sandwiches. It's a small casual deli that offers indoor and outdoor seating. There is plenty of parking come check it out. Highly recommend !

This was a special request. A grilled cheese on white bread with Funyuns!! Super Good!!!

I always go to Tummy Stuffer for breakfast and lunch!! They are such nice people and helpful if you are curious on what to order.

Stopped for lunch at this hole in the wall lunch spot. Located in an industrial park, this place opens early and closes after lunch time. It's frequented by industrial workers nearby. Great little mom n pop sub sandwich spot that serves other lunch items like teriyaki bowls, burritos and ramen. I ordered the super grinder sub which comes with a couple different deli meats and bacon. It was ok, nothing to write home about. Tasted slightly better than a Subway sandwich. Nice little dining area and friendly workers. I'll be back.

I got the korean bbq beef sandwich and it was delicious. Great price and very friendly service. You just wont get this type of service from subway or the like.

Wow.... This place is absolutely incredible. I've been coming here for the last few years when I get a seasonal job around the corner... so I only get to enjoy their food for a few months each year. For starters, I have never had such delicious sandwiches in such a clean restaurant with such amazing customer service. This is a family owned spot, where you can taste the love in the food, and feel the warmth within the atmosphere. My coworkers and I come here 5 days a week and have tried almost everything. My personal favorites are the super grinder, super Reuben, or the bacon Turkey avocado, all of which are less than $13 for a humongous sandwich. The bread is extra soft and always fresh, and this place makes me wish I was not commuting to work, because then it would be close to my home. I can not say enough positive things about this spot, the quality of the food, or the character and warmth of the staff. Truly a place that I would go out of my way to bring a friend that just needs an awesome, fresh sandwich. You are missing out if you don't experience this sandwich spot.

    Teriyaki Beef plate.

What a wonderful place to grab a sandwich and rice plate. The bbq teriyaki was so delicious considering this place is a breakfast and sub sandwich joint. I honestly feel like their bbq beef teriyaki plate is better than most places around and it's around $10 which makes it a deal. I also tried their roast beef, Turkey & bacon sandwich which was super refreshing and hit the spot. I can tell they use fresh ingredients and only make it when you order it. The bread was sandwich bread which I prefer over sub sandwich bread. Check this plate out and don't forget they have a teriyaki plates.

I was not confused to a stupor that left me angry and frustrated, I was left more dazed with swirling lilies around my mind, like I had been hit hard with the staff of a fairy who pays the bills of the forest as an interior designer. The place has a design concept that takes two opposing forces and blends them into a restaurant concept: health forward food for O.G.'s and their like and crew, all while being a love letter to the streets of Los Angeles, the gritty streets, not the ones next to Rodeo. For instance, Cruz, one of the staff members, was wearing a "Straight out of Whittier" shirt that was clear nod to the movie straight out of Compton that was all about the rap and its consequence on West LA homeboy culture. The central mural of the joint showed low-riders, the LA symbol made with finger angles, and graffiti galore. Again, the message was clear this is a health cafe for Tupac and his friends and followers. These two principal ingredients mixing together (health food and LA street culture) at least in my mind, are more the subject for improv comedy than a sensible restaurant concept. I know people can mix what ever they want together, I know that there is choice when people color and dress, but this motif seemed like it was mixing Ninja culture with a dog grooming service. The concept can work, I see a ninja de-worming a golden retriever with swift skill but this concept also seems forced rather than flowing with common sense. So for a health cafe in LA I see Cher from Clueless, or Barbie, being more easily applied to the concept. But what do I know perhaps in a few months will have a Hell's Angel's tea experience that will not be dainty but rather hard like a helmet and it might be the concept that begins a revolution that ends with Hair Salons with Viking culture at its decoration theme. The (health) food in itself was a blessing. My friend Bailey is the healthy eater of the two of us! She got a simple green salad with tofu. I sampled a forkful. My hand had to dig in hard, with its fork, to retrieve the lettuce, the carrot, and some of the pickle, I avoided the tofu. The greens were fresh, and tasted clean in their simple flavors, but what elevated the green forkful to excellence in taste was the sweet mustard dressing. The green had dressing that turned solid greens to yummy ones! I ordered the shrimp tostada. Cruz, came to the table and explained that my plate was Keto friendly, which meant that it was good food for those who were experiencing life as a pre-diabetic, for example. What I loved about this place and its food, was that I did not feel like I was eating healthy and had to sacrifice pleasure in the name of honoring my health goals. Quite the contrary, the food was just plain good food, and for me, eating good clean food, is a fantastic way to keep my health goals on track. Apparently the tortilla was made out of cactus, and that is a why where the healthy stays in tact, while still being food that is satisfying, and, yummy! I would go here again, especially when my health goals are in full swing. This place will facilitate the process because the food was truly good!

The sandwich was hefty, too. I ended up eating half and saving the other half for later because it was that filling. Now, here's where they lost me a little. The inside felt really cramped. Between the food station, salsa area, and counters, it just seemed like there was too much going on in a small space. To make matters worse, I spotted a fly flying around the veggies. They have those net screens up, which I assume are there to keep flies out, but that one clearly didn't get the memo. It just made me question the overall cleanliness of the shop, and for me, it wasn't it.

As we waited, I started noticing something interesting: two parties who came in after us were seated immediately. Then almost 30 minutes went by. At that point, I poked my head back in and said, "Hey, we put our name down about 30 minutes ago, and I've noticed people coming in and getting seats." Immediately, the hostess who originally helped us said, "Yes, yes... sorry about that. You can choose a table right now." So apparently our table had been available in the Witness Protection Program. To make matters worse, we were seated next to one of the parties that arrived after us, and we got to enjoy the thrilling experience of watching them receive their food before we even ordered. The food itself was good overall. The only miss for me was the mac and cheese, which tasted like KFC mac and cheese that had a passionate encounter with a jar of jalapeño juice. Would I come back? Maybe. The food was decent, but for a first visit, the service definitely left a stronger impression than the meal did.
