The service here was verY bad, I got fried zucchini and it tastedd very straNge. Not fresh at all. The owner haD the nerve to tell me I was wrong. That they are made fresh daily. The crust around them was really wet and flimsy as well. Sad experience.

Love the food here its always reliable and delicious. I wouldn't have expected it but they always deliver on all the different food I have ordered. I need to try their breakfast and see how that comes out but so far everything has been grate.

Surprised no one has written a review yet for this place. There was a steady stream of customers as I ate there. Right as you walk in to the right is the cooking area, so you know they don't spit in your food or anything. They have a pretty extensive menu, I got overwhelmed for a minute. I decided on the Camarones Rancheros, and I'm so glad I did. The size and amount of shrimp was awesome for a $10 plate (see shrimp size relative to fork in photo). Atmosphere was decent. Pretty weird temperature, though. They crank the AC good, but because the cooking area is right up front, makes the AC barely cool the place. My food was served piping hot. They did give me one free refill on my soda...not sure if that is now standard because sign up front says refills are 50 cents. This restaurant is in a plaza where a KFC closed down, so there is pretty good parking and lots of shade on a hot day. It is next door to a chuck e cheese, a DD discount and a carneceria. There is a donut place and another store that says "elado coming soon". Though the H is missing, Im guessing its gonna be ice cream. Unless someone is just making up spanglish words for "elated". Hey, I'd be elated too if I owned an ice cream shop.

Memorial day weekend and most places are closed. Driving around looking for some Mexican breakfast and came across this place. Ordered machaca and chilaquiles verdes, we were not disappointed. 1 of the best machaca plates I've ever had, slightly spicy, but they give you a red sauce on the side that added the extra spice I like. Very affordable. Spent less than $25 on both plates, drinks and French fries. Definitely a place youd want to check out. Customer service made the stop very pleasant as well.

First time here tried their bacon cheeseburger and dui fries. Burger was above average very fresh good quality. Dui fries were good SUPER cheesy and the asada tasted much better than the pastrami..id prolly leave it off in the future. Huge menu will definitely go back to try more of their items.

Torta de chorizo. Surprisingly good! Ask for the chorizo well done.

I've been coming here to Pepe's for 5 years now and this place has always been good. The burgers, fries, onion rings and fried zucchinis are awesome... I've even tried their Mexican food like the chorizo torta which was really good, I recommend it. 99% of the time I phone order and the food is always ready when I get there....This place also has a Kick ass breakfast which the wife and kids like. Their breakfast burrito is good and their pancakes are also very good.....So this place is one of those mom and pops restaurants where everything is good. I'm surprised that this place doesn't really get that packed. If you live or are around this area, make a phone order and go try this place out!

They got a Pretty Good Menu. Affordable Meals ...

Customer Service is Great. I can see why they get busy during lunch . I forgot my Money once, The Cashier knew me from Eating here so often.... She told me to pay her later. Good Food at a Descent Price.

This place is just awful. I mean the service is wonderful and the staff is friendly. But....... The food is just so so. Just as good a burger as ricks in uptown Whittier nothing special. The fried zucchini were salty and too thick and just not good. I would not go back. Only came cause it was close to work.

Love their chile relleno burrito! They don't always have the poblano pepper available so I usually call ahead and ask before ordering.

We tried: * Iced Latte Flight: Horchata, Abuelita, Pistachio, and Mazapan * Hot Mazapan Latte * Mimosa Flight * Mole Chilaquiles * Birria Benedict * Huevos Rancheros * The Journey Pancakes The Hot Mazapan Latte was our favorite coffee and something I would absolutely order again. The iced flight was also a great way to sample several of their flavors without having to commit to just one. For food, the Birria Benedict was the standout and easily our favorite dish. I loved the Mexican-inspired spin on a brunch classic, and the rich birria paired so well with the eggs and Benedict preparation. We also really enjoyed getting a mix of savory dishes with the Mole Chilaquiles and Huevos Rancheros before finishing with The Journey Pancakes for something sweet. Overall, Madres Brunch offers a huge variety of creative food and drinks, especially if you enjoy Mexican flavors and fun twists on traditional brunch. Definitely a place where I recommend coming hungry and ordering several things to share! Excellent service, as well.

Everything looked and tasted delicious! We ordered the chilaquiles verde, short rib omelette, tropical pancakes (seasonal), and the mango curd french toast (seasonal). The chilaquiles verde was savory and tangy. It wasn't soggy at all and definitely one of my favorite dishes. The short rib omelette was savory but didn't give me any wow factor compared to the other dishes I ordered. The tropical pancakes were so pretty. I only tried a piece of it without the syrup which I think was a mistake because the kumquat syrup was my friend's favorite. I definitely need to try it again with the syrup. Best for last, mango curd French toast was my favorite! I fell in love with sweetness and tanginess of the mango curd. The French toast was soft and you can taste the butter. Just a couple of weeks ago, my friends and I were considering our options for where to have brunch to celebrate one of our friend's retirement. Toast was one of the names I dropped in the metaphorical hat, and it won the vote of a few. My friends were surprised that I had named a spot I hadn't yet tried since I'm usually the "foodie" of the group. However, another girl in the group who had been here before vouched for it. I'm glad I finally got to try this place this past weekend, and I cannot wait to return! There were so many things on their menu that I wanted to try. A couple of the ladies ordered green chilaquiles, the friend we were celebrating ordered the Spanish Omelet, another woman I'd met that day had the bacon and eggs, another one ordered the Biscuits and grave with a side of bacon that looked perfectly crispy. I wish I had taken pictures of the plates as it all looked so lovely! I didn't even take a picture of my own food haha. I had my eyes on an omelet, one of the Benedicts or the Chicken n Waffle. In the end, the chicken and waffle won. It comes served with a little container of maple syrup with bacon pieces. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The waffle was delicious, though I did request for some extra syrup on the side. To drink, a few ladies ordered mimosas, one ordered an iced caramel coffee, and I ordered the Carajillo. I fell in love with this drink last summer in Mexico and do not often see it on the menu. I love the subtle citrus notes the Licor 43 adds to this espresso drink. It is very similar to an espresso martini, and theirs comes topped with a toasted marshmallow. I honestly wanted to try almost every item in their Tipsy Barista section of their drinks. I'll just have to come back that many more times :) Plenty of parking in the mall lot. It does get pretty packed during peak hours. Fortunately I had called ahead to put our group of 6 down. We went in on Saturday around 11:30. It slowed down a bit while we were eating, but started to get busy again after 1. Otherwise, we might have been forced to honor their 90-minute rule. All in all, a great experience from everyone in our group. No complaints on the wait, service or food. That certainly deserves a toast. Great job, Toast!
