Well this is the first time I have gone this star review. Place had been here a while and it's got a following because I see people coming in. Friendly service and bilingual. Menu has no priced so it's ask as you go. There are menu's around of different dishes. But no exact pricing to see on the main menu board. I asked if they were getting a new menu board I was told yes. They have a little dining area but it seems mixed in a time warp. One side standard cushioned booths then to the other part a set of wooden curved seating. Needs a paint job runned down somewhat. I ordered 3 burritos 1 El pastor and 2 carne asada. Burritos were package well The taste wasn't the best like I usually have, taste missing flavor! This establishment needs a little upgrading and needs more seasoning on there meat orders. El pastor needed a little more sauce too dry. I would return in hopes of seeing some improvements to this mom and pop. Laughable small portions with pretty high prices for a falling apart hole in je wall inna dying strip mall in Pico. My plate was a handful of food for 15 dollars. The only reason it gets two stars is because the flavor was not bad at all but never would go back portion/price is a joke read more

Advertised for items that they didn't have on the menu! Became a norm very fast as I asked for and was denied items multiple times Wanted a pozole (didn't have it) A pastrami sandwich ( didn't have it) Horchata (didn't have it) Jamaica (didn't have it) Menudo (didn't have it) Ended up with a cheeseburger combo with peach tea. I checked out Mr Pepe's so thanks to Tarek Fattel for his breakfast burrito review. The burrito is loaded with everything you need: chorizo, egg and potatoes. Good quality and filling. It's tucked away in a strip mall so you wouldn't know it's there unless someone pointed it out. read more

The service here was verY bad, I got fried zucchini and it tastedd very straNge. Not fresh at all. The owner haD the nerve to tell me I was wrong. That they are made fresh daily. The crust around them was really wet and flimsy as well. Sad experience. read more

Love their chile relleno burrito! They don't always have the poblano pepper available so I usually call ahead and ask before ordering.

Love the food here its always reliable and delicious. I wouldn't have expected it but they always deliver on all the different food I have ordered. I need to try their breakfast and see how that comes out but so far everything has been grate. read more

Worst costumer service ever. We ordered food today and when we got home we were missing 2 items. We called and they said they would have it ready if we went back. We drove back and when we got there they gave us the food and walked away without even an apology or anything. The worst part was the burger they forgot to give us was super cold. read more

Surprised no one has written a review yet for this place. There was a steady stream of customers as I ate there. Right as you walk in to the right is the cooking area, so you know they don't spit in your food or anything. They have a pretty extensive menu, I got overwhelmed for a minute. I decided on the Camarones Rancheros, and I'm so glad I did. The size and amount of shrimp was awesome for a $10 plate (see shrimp size relative to fork in photo). Atmosphere was decent. Pretty weird temperature, though. They crank the AC good, but because the cooking area is right up front, makes the AC barely cool the place. My food was served piping hot. They did give me one free refill on my soda...not sure if that is now standard because sign up front says refills are 50 cents. This restaurant is in a plaza where a KFC closed down, so there is pretty good parking and lots of shade on a hot day. It is next door to a chuck e cheese, a DD discount and a carneceria. There is a donut place and another store that says "elado coming soon". Though the H is missing, Im guessing its gonna be ice cream. Unless someone is just making up spanglish words for "elated". Memorial day weekend and most places are closed. Driving around looking for some Mexican breakfast and came across this place. Ordered machaca and chilaquiles verdes, we were not disappointed. 1 of the best machaca plates I've ever had, slightly spicy, but they give you a red sauce on the side that added the extra spice I like. Very affordable. Spent less than $25 on both plates, drinks and French fries. Definitely a place youd want to check out. Customer service made the stop very pleasant as well. read more

I've been coming here to Pepe's for 5 years now and this place has always been good. The burgers, fries, onion rings and fried zucchinis are awesome... I've even tried their Mexican food like the chorizo torta which was really good, I recommend it. 99% of the time I phone order and the food is always ready when I get there....This place also has a Kick ass breakfast which the wife and kids like. Their breakfast burrito is good and their pancakes are also very good.....So this place is one of those mom and pops restaurants where everything is good. This place was just a random pit stop for me as I went to the park and it was below mediocre to say the least. I ordered a basic patty melt and some jalapeño poppers which I thought would be a good snack to hold me and a friend down until dinner. The poppers were cold in the middle and the fryer oil just soaked the outside.. I took a bite of 2 before I gave it up and spit out. Don't order the nacho..... They microwave the cheese which is very little cheese in the beginning then its hard and you can't taste the cheese and that's the main thing on nachos THE CHEESE ....O and the casada were little tiny pieces which make them taste burnt....you end up with tons of plain chips. read more

I got a burrito of carne asada after taking the first bite I realize the meat had a funny taste I thought it was just me so i took a second bite without the salsa and The Taste was worse. I would give them no stars if I could. I've been coming here for over 20 with my family and it's been good food. It has been a while since I was here, but today I was in the area and thought I'd stop by to get a quick drink and use their restroom. When I walked in I asked the old lady if I can use the restroom real quick and she said "no". Idk if it's because I just woke up and threw whatever on and didn't brush my hair.. maybe I looked like a bum, but I even brought out my wallet and said I would buy a drink. she replies with it has to be a 5 dollar minimum. I think that is complete bullshit and I plan to never come here again. They offer a 2 dollar burger which is great if you're on a budget. And large fries for 2.50. Definitely visiting again.

They have the best Mexican breakfast in town from plates to burritos nice size portions too burgers and fries just like you cooked it your back yard I love that it is small and not big you get better service read more

They told me she couldn't use the restroom until they rang us up. When the rest of my family got inside I said okay they are going to order can my daughter please use the restroom now. They still told me no. Not until they charged us for our food. Come on really, my daughter is three years old and can't hold her pee that long.
